Purchased a refrigerator through their website and spoke with the owner on the phone to confirm the item was in stock. Spent a week trying to get a hold of someone at the store after I had coordinated an LTL company to ship the item. When I finally got someone on the phone they told me the item was no longer available due to a flood at one of their locations and that their owner couldn’t speak with me because he didn’t speak very good English (not true). I rarely take the time to leave reviews but this company treats their customers like garbage. Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere.

Had a little mix up with the delivery, but the owner himself came to our house to install the refrigerator, washer, and dryer. We got a great a deal on our appliances with delivery!

I had a pretty good experience I got a really cool washer for a about $100 less then other traditional stores because it has a minor scratch.

I found this company on Facebook marketplace. Went and bought an oven, paid off, was told they will ship out a new one from the other location. Turned out they shipped the displayed one, no power core, no power cover, I contacted the sale rep - Ray, she didn’t bother to reply. We paid $1400 for this and I am so upset. Definitely do not recommend

I was at difference outlets and stores in Houston to find deals for my rentals. Barbour Appliances so far the best place to shop. They have great deals that no where can beat them. The appliances I got had zero dent and damage. The manger provided excellent service. He went above and beyond helped me find the rare double ovens I needed (24 inches). He gave me advises of what I should get that I would get the most for the money I spent. I just told him what I needed, my budget, the purposes of my purchase, he took time to show/explained things to me. Overall very happy to shop at Barbour appliances . I wish could give 0.I wanted to buy a particular brand microwave. The owner kept on saying lies to me that he will get the microwave. I must have called him atleast 15 times in 4 days. Everytime i called he would give me different time of the day his truck is coming. He also lied to me that he was talking to his truck driver and is stuck in traffic.He told me that he will give me new appliance which i hardly believe now. I saw lot of scratched and dented appliances in his warehouse and that is why he sells for lesser price compared to other renowned stores.Please beware of such store.I had called him first time on Thursday and last call the following week Wednesday.Update :Owner replies after 10 days and call people fake. BTW, i had called GE and their reps told me they cannot verify whether this store is reliable or not even though its listed as GE vendor.Its for people to decide whether store deals with scratch and dented appliances.If the owner has 15 appliances in his store and is reliable then he would had courtesy to call me and say appliance has arrived for pickup but never received any phone call.

Do NOT purchase anything from this place! I purchased a used 26cu Samsung refrigerator in October and when I got it home it didnt work. They sent a replacement brand new Samsung refrigerator that was only 22cu because they didnt have the same size refrigerator to replace it with and the freezer didnt work. I complained enough for them to send out a repair man to fix it and it worked for a short time, but the freezer only works spararaticly. Ive had this refrigerator for 5 months and have lost a lot of food due to the freezer not working properly, plus the ice maker stopped working after a couple of months. I have tried to return the 2nd lemmon refrigerator back to Barbour Appliances but they would not allow me to return it because it was past their 30day return policy. They didnt want to work with me at all, so I am stuck with this thing. Never again will I purchase anything from them.
