A very high end mall with beautiful antiques. Friendly and super helpful staff, I cant wait to come back. Many thanks!
Pretty exquisite spot, as far as the age/prices of items go; hardly anything under $500 available. However as a free “museum” it’s awesome to walk around and admire the statues and tapestries. Staff was generally disinterested, but it might of been a slow day?
A wonderful place for antiques, exquisite antiques. A little pricey, but for anyone who has the money, I recommend, highly. Thank you for the memories.
More like “Antique Museum”. Beautiful objêts d’art but unaffordable for your normal person.
This place is nice but because it 1 of 3 antique places on west hiemer they have rediuculios prices.
Antique Pavilion is great for a little afternoon jaunt to browse all the cool stuff. The building is filled with the stalls of individual vendors selling all manner of antiques, from the most upscale historical pieces to trinkets and baubles. One vendor has an incredible 1670 Martin Luther Bible in German for sale—still in its original binding, hundreds of pieces of artwork within, beautiful calligraphic font throughout. If the first section wasnt in poor condition, this would likely be worth a small fortune. But how amazing, right? To be able to own a 350-year old Martin Luther Bible?I also love the paintings and fine art in Robert Falkers collection, which is directly to the left when you enter the building. Its all well beyond the price range of normal folks, but in my dreams, Im one day going to walk in and pay cash for an incomparable, one-of-a-kind Luis Szepesi painting called Golgotha—a dark, expressionistic take on the full lifecycle of Christ.
Loved my visit. Meet a lot of friendly people. I saw a lot of unique pieces. It was quite.
Love this place. Really nice and helpful people working here. Awesome Place to find Antiques and Unique Gifts... The items they have here are absolutely ASTOUNDING . Huge place. Simply window shopped. The art treasures were amazing and people who work there are professional . Its amazing. It has a lot of cool antiques . This is a great place with a wide variety of shopping options from very expensive items to more modest selections. environment is really nice. The shop is amazing.
Best place ever. Nice people.clean area
Very rude Receptionist at the desk asked my girlfriend and I have we have ever been here before we said no and she replied “I didn’t think so” then looked away I’ve never been greeted in such a way. If you don’t want to be disrespected I wouldn’t recommend coming here!!
Excellent antiques. Antique Pavilion has a large selection of dealers. In particular, there are some higher end dealers for mid-century modern furniture and silver. There is also a selection of more affordable and typical antiques. One of the best locations for antiques in Houston.
Loved it, alot of cool stuff..
Its like a trip to the museum or arts gallery. The items they have here are absolutely ASTOUNDING. Its fantastic to walk around and look at the art and the sheer history around you. Its probably a good idea though to not be in the mood to actually buy anything, because the prices are steep. But thats not what I come here for. I come to look at pieces I would love to have in my house some day when Im rich. And hey, maybe that day will come someday! In the meantime, its satisfactory to look at and experience great art and history.
There are so many treasures inside! That said, the staff provided no customer service and seemed generally disinterested in assisting me. I came in looking for a few home accessories, but I left knowing I’d never give them my business.
I placed an item on hold and stated I would be back on a Monday. When I went back on Monday to purchase it they had sold it off. They had my details and couldve called to ask me to come in and buy it or give a credit card over the phone but did not. I arrived to purchase it and was told I would receive a call from the person who placed it on hold for me, but did not. Called back and was told again I would receive a call...did not. I understand mistakes but the worst service is making a mistake and just brushing a customer under the rug and pretending it didnt happen. Hence this review.
A treasure trove, an Aladdins cave, a shopaholics wet dream. And they are home to Houstons best Persian carpet emporium and source for cleaning and repairs, Moshen. Terrific.
I love this place. Been going for years. Then, one day, I was so glad to see David Lackey. Extremely rude when I attempted to talk to him.
I wish I could impress more on young people: buy quality antique tables, bedroom furniture, desks, stands, etc. If you get them at auctions, or at a bargain price at an antique shop, they are worth what you paid when you get them home. Then spend that extra savings on upholstered furniture and appliances.Beautiful antiques never go out of style, and beats the mass-produced chain store blahhhh gurniture.
Wonderful furniture, trinkets, jewellery...etc. Dont even walk through the door unless you have $10,000 to spend off the bat. Most items start in the low thousands.
Snobby pretentious people working here. I would not recommend!
Kind of cool as a museum, terrible as an antique store. Its set up very elegantly but the building itself is in pretty bad disrepair, the ceiling looks like its been damaged by water or smoke, the floor is very awkward and unlevel, and the smell was very off-putting, I get that antique stores will have an aged odor to them but this was beyond that. If you have visible tattoos beware, you will be followed around by a creepy old guy that assumes youre going to steal one of his $10,000 spoons. I am so very happy this wasnt my first visit to an antique store or I would never have gone to another one.
Wonderful antiques from old European and American to vintage - really vintage not just used- clothing, including 1950s era leather jackets. I found some vendors price high, but good values are available. Just dun to browse.
Looks rundown and dumpy on the outside. On the inside full of outrageously priced furniture. Some of the items where way off on their prices. $800 whirligig no thank you.
Huge collection of antique stores, all in one place.
This is a great place with a wide variety of shopping options from very expensive items to more modest selectionsThey have a great selection of Art Deco era pieces that are very hard to find anywhere else in Houston. The check off staff are helpful in every instance. They also have a large selection of Sterling silver forks and knives and every kind of serving trays and early 1800 unusal specific items: ie pasta spoons, salt cellars, fish forks etc.
Love this place. Really nice and helpful people working here.
I love this place. Very high end antiques and jewellery beautifully displayed.
The art treasures were amazing and people who work there are professional and.Friendly. Will be back. Carlos R Garcia
Awesome Place to find Antiques and Unique Gifts...
Everyone was nice and the environment was really comfortable
The lady at the front was very rude would not come again
Lovely selection of items that spans the last couple of centuries and cheerful, polite staff.
The sales associate Sylvia is very nice and she concerns what a customer concerns to help you get the right things! So pleased with my visit!
I love the items there, however way overpriced.
Unique store filled with gorgeous and expensive treasures!
Great selection of antiques. Terrible attitude on the part of several staff members.
Not for the price-conscious
Irina Lingard came off as very pretentious & smug... I would not buy art from this person if my life depended on it.
Very unique and beautiful antiques
Huge place. Simply window shopped
Lots of cool stuff!
It has items rarely seen.
