We were looking into buying furniture for our new home and we knew we wanted good quality furniture. A Google search led us to The Amish Craftsman. Drove there after work on a Wednesday an hour before closing and got helped by Sandra. I loved what I saw that day and loved the help provided by Sandra so we set an appointment for that coming Saturday. We placed the order for our dining set that Saturday. We expressed interest in sofas as well and that’s when Sandra informed us that they would be carrying a new line of sofas by Smith Brothers of Berne; all we had to do was wait two or three weeks and we’d be able to place an order. A Google search away too and we saw the options online for Smith Brothers so we opted to wait the weeks out. Sandra informed us of when they were available for view and that very week we went to view them and fell in love as well. We placed our order for those as well. We loved how we could customize all of our furniture. Our table & chairs and sofas are custom made for us to our preference and we truly love that. Sandra was very helpful throughout the entire process too. We didn’t have our house just yet, just floor plans and she helped us select furniture that would fit our space. She also helped in selecting colors and styles that we were aiming for. Now our furniture just got delivered this past week and we are in love with each and every single piece!!! We will be returning to purchase a bedroom set in the future!

We stopped in for the first time today, and had a fantastic time! Sandra was incredibly sweet and inviting. She took her time to show us around, and explain everything, she really made us feel at home. The furniture selection is pretty great, of course they have more products off the floor in catalogs etc. We fell in love with the live edge Walnut table! The Amish Craftsman offered a really great furniture-buying experience. We were able to sit on a variety of different pieces and see all the different options for what we were interested in. Sandra did a great job at walking us through the process, and gave us the exact prices for the sofa, chair, and ottomans with the upholstery finishes we were interested in. It was a much more personalized experience than going to a typical furniture store and we are excited to own some furniture that will hopefully last many years. We just ordered a few days ago so the furniture has not been made and delivered yet, so I will update this review if there are any issues with the manufacturing timeline or with the furniture itself.

I was soon contacted by email to get the discussion going. Sonny was my consultant and he provided suggestions, pictures, sizes, and prices, all via email. A great way to have a pre-discussion, so my husband and I had time to talk through it. We were wanting to match the table to our Amish kitchen cabinets we had installed 10 years ago.Once we had a general idea of what we wanted, we scheduled an appointment for final decisions. We popped off one of the cabinet doors and took it in to match the stain on our existing hickory wood. Sonny was very prepared and had everything ready for us. We also appreciated Sonny’s easy-going approach and we never felt pressured. We finalized the table, then sat in various chairs to find just the right ones. The wait time for the table is about 16 weeks but will be totally worth it.Lastly, my husband is still raving about his gift of their Blackberry Butter, that we received as we finalized the sale.

I bought 2 bedroom sets, bed head board, dresser and mirror and night stand table. One in Hickory and the other in quarter sawn oak. The Hickory was heavy, get delivery because those guys did a great job. We love the quality and craftsmanship. We will buy again in the future. This furniture is going to be handed down to my children.

Very pleased with my new bookcase, which was more competitively priced and of course much more to my liking than one from a high-end furniture store. Really great business. Sandy (I believe, mightve remembered the name wrong, and if so, sorry!) helped my family and I find the right dining table and chairs for us. Its not a cheap place, but its not a ridiculous price either, especially considering the quality of the furniture. They really go out of their way in trying to make you feel like they appreciate your business beyond trying to make a sale on the one day that you happen to be there.

Rabia called me at home during the Covid shutdown, called me to make an appointment the day they returned and were only taking customers by appointment and assisted me in finding EXACTLY the right fabric to match pillows that were already on the Amish Craftsman sofa that I bought pre-owned and needed new seat cushion fabric. And I love the finished product.

While we have looked at other places for furniture in the past, we always end up back at The Amish Craftsman every time. Wow. The Amish Craftsman knows how to make furniture. We purchased a bedroom set and kitchen table set. I was a little worried at first because we made a lot of specifications and deviations from the original designs. When the furniture arrived, it was exactly as we had requested...down to the extra two inches in height we requested for our kitchen table. We recently purchased a beautiful live edge oak table and bench from this location. It did take 2.5 months to arrive, but it was well worth the wait and we couldnt be happier. We ordered furniture for our master bedroom. It is beautiful and definitely great quality. The delivery was a little later than originally planned due to COVID-19 lockdown, but it was worth the wait.
