The staff are generally helpful and friendly. Two times in the recent past, the Egusi was barely warm but we kept patronizing this place. I do question if they are charging taxes on food that is NOT prepared or hot. Overall, they are a clean store with helpful staff.

Good place to shop African food stuff but it needs upgrades and a lot of their freezers needs to go because theyre dirty looking. Their restaurant food is not tasty, they give good portions but the food is cooked in a hurry so the meat doesnt have the same taste as food it came in. Also they give you all bones as meat instead of what you paid for. They need to hire better cooks.

Nice grocery store and they also have a mini restaurant with tasty and affordable dishes to go. Their fried hake fish is excellent also the grilled Guinea fowl. I love this African store theres hardly anything you want that you wont find here

VERY acclaimed grocery store.l am ALWAYS impressed by the politeness and professionalism of the staff.The food is excellent! Smoked turkey wings and chicken are so YUMMY! Their brand Alief baked bread is awesome! Bread is better than any name brand l have tasted in America as l see it...and Ive been in America ALL my life😊👃

Nice and clean place to eat all kinds of African food

Hmmm, I was wondering why people rate this store positively. Can someone tell me the cost of two robb balm? It was sold for me at rate of $10.00. The store is so tight/choke, their items is $2 dollar inflated to other stores in houston area. The loaf of bread is extremely expensive., sighting a new customer should be warm attitude but not scraping their head by inflating the price of your commodity. Ill never recommend this store to anyone. Theyre not sincere at all.

Fresh food hot and fresh always

It is always nice to have a place to buy ingredients for my Nigerian dishes. Unfortunately, despite the outer appearance, the inside is very tight and small. Some of the prices are much higher than those of most area American stores; but the meat is of very high quality.

I have just been physically abused by a purported owner of this store. I came there shopping with family and was capturing a video of my family visit and one guy claiming is the owner said i cannot record or take pictures here. Told him was ok and i stopped. Few mins later he saw me texting on phone text and he approached me asking who am shopping with and that am doing video and should leave, said he is valling police. Went ahead and pushed me with his hand as i wanted to talk to the cashier.T
