When ever I need to rent equipment I call and ask if available. Meredith goes over equipment I need to rent as well as pricing. When I get there it is ready to rent. When it comes to loading and unloading equipment the guys in the yard are great. I have rented several pieces of equipment. Excellent service desk and excellent help in the yard. Equipment is newer and in great working order. Thank you

On 8/20/2020 my wife and I rented a trencher and trailer from Evcon Rentals. The trencher broke 4 times in 2 days. 1st the quick release valve started leaking which took half a day to fix. 2nd the bolt fell out from the auger which removes dirt from the chain. 3rd the chain was in need of adjustment and looked lose, this chain fell off causing another repair. 4th the tracks the unit drives on came off the trencher and showed to be dry and cracking with pieces missing, we finally gave up trying to use this equipment.Michael Evans said all 4 breakdowns were due to how we were using his machine, upon asking other professionals about the breakdown types their response was lack of maintenance.I noticed the trailer looked old and I inquired about its condition, the employee hitching the trailer at Evcon stated the trailer needs to be rebuilt but was in road worthy condition, He then hitched the trailer to our Dodge Truck. On the way home when crossing a bridge in a corner, the trailer coupling came off the ball on our truck, causing the truck to veer in oncoming traffic. The trailer only holding on by 2 safety chains began banging into the back of our truck very hard and loud. I was able to get the trailer under control before we left the roadway and crashed.Upon road side inspection the trailer’s coupling still had the locking slide fully locked on the coupling and was too hot to touch from rubbing against the trucks tire. The inspection showed the coupling was faulty being rusty and missing metal parts underneath that hold the coupling to the ball. This worn-out coupling caused the trailer to come lose from the trucks hitch ball damaging the tailgate and right rear of the vehicle and forcing the truck off the road.Michael Evans the owner of Evcon Rentals came to the accident scene, he never asked if we were OK or if anyone was injured, Michael Evans seemed only concerned with his liability explaining to us this was our fault and his company was not at fault. Michael Evans stated “We are responsible for hitching the trailer” Additionally, ignoring they did not tell us to hitch the trailer and preceded to perform the hitching themselves. He also stated this trailer’s coupling came off a customer’s vehicle once before. My response was “the coupling is obviously worn out and not fit for use and this is due to your negligence”When my wife and I asked him to call a tow truck to pick up the trailer after refusing to re hitch his trailer to our truck, Michael Evans became upset with us and demanded we re-hitch his trailer to our truck, we refused again.Michael Evans the owner ignores our request to repair our truck by simply not responding to us.Read our experience and make your decision, would you want this experience?Find a better more reputable place in Hot Springs to rent from.

These guys and Mere rock! They always go out of their way to get whatever I need. They open early and stay late when needed. Try that at a national chain. Hey Dee Etter, if everyone else has had great experiences then maybe its you...just a thought? Keep up the good work guys!

They are the best prices in town with brand new equipment. And you cant ask for a better team there!! From Merideth up front to the guys working the back. Even Mike the owner stopped by us to see if we got everything we needed. They went out of their way to get the bucket for the Skid steer we needed in the time we needed it.
