We had our pool opened this summer. It took the crew several weeks to get here after making the appointment. Several phone calls to get them here. They made several trips to fix a lightning struck pool pump. Was told by an employee not to buy a new pump from the company due to the high prices. I found a new pump on line for $167 while the pump at the company was $500. It took 3 times for the workers to find the right on/off switch for the filter.Multiple trips to get the pool open. Received a bill for $909 to open a pool. When I contacted the owner, Loretta, she said that we live so far from their company that its extra for the drive. She agreed to take $67 off the $909 bill. Ill never use MidSouth pools and spas again and I would suggest no one else either unless they want to get screwed in the process.I will definitely the job next time myself. Also, we were charged $97 dollars for a key cover that we neither asked for or authorized to be installed. We didnt even know one was installed until we got the bill. Our pool wasnt any worse than one of the employees personal pools according to him.

Very dishonest service department. Did not show up when the appointment was scheduled and when they did it was weeks of waiting on a part that never came.

Midsouth was hired to replace my liner. I was told their employees would do the job. Not the case. They contracted out. The agreed start date of liner replacement, it rained. After 4 days of the agreed start date my old liner was removed, weather not being an issue after the initial start date. Pool liner was started. My new $2000 pool liner was left hanging 7 days without touching it. Weather was not an issue for the delay. Multiple calls to Loretta and continued statements from her of shell take care of it...lead to me being very disgusted and angry for a delay with the company. It took 11 days from the time the old liner was removed until the new liner was completed. The liner is pretty and the work was good, when it was finally being done. Communication is poor. I was still charged the full amount even with the inexcusable delays, issues of misinformation and Loretta saying multiple times....she would make it right. I had used this company before and had trusted them.
