Very awesome and openminded place. Always open to people asking questions and answering them. Also will willingly help disabled people find something specific on a shelf. They are also very nice and polite in knowing how to respond properly around my service dog in not distracting it which I really appreciate. I just havent come in awhile cause of gas prices.

Bookstore was nice and has a wide selection of books. Had a overall decent experience until I got to the checkout. The cashier was friendly but while ringing me up tried to offer me things 3 different times. The last time she handed me a pamphlet (?) And told me to pick out three free magazines. I did, thinking she was just going to hand me the magazines, but she ended up asking for my address and email (never told me it was a subscription ) And I begrudgingly told it to her. A week later now I get an email saying Im going to be charged $200 to my credit card for the 3 magazines. I then had to spend 15 minutes jumping through hoops to get it cancelled. The bookstore is nice but I dont appreciate almost being charged $200 . This couldve been avoided if the cashier was clear that it was a subscription.

Millions of great books, games and puzzles. Huge magazine display as well as coin collecting supplies. This is a wonderful place to buy gifts for the ones who are hard to buy for.

A nice place that had a lot to look at. Its the counterpart to Second and Charles that I have in my area, minus a few items of selection.The staff was quite helpful and knowledgeable about the book I was interested in.Would definitely go to again if Im in the area and looking for a book.

Nice environment and great atmosphere. Wonderful selections with many optional choices and features which to choose from. Love the add ins of so many different of ideas other than just books that well, youll just have to go see for yourself.I definitely would recommend this place as a must stop if youre out shopping for gift ideas for the hard to buy for, great store.

Havent been to one of these in years. What a treat, lots of books. Helpful and informative staff. Ordered books online and picked up that morning, easy, efficient process.

It was oddly dim inside like the lights were on half brightness. But they do have a good bit of manga of popular anime and the likes.

My second choice since we dont have a barnes and noble here in town

The bathrooms here are falling apart. There was 2 stalls out of order with water running out of one of them and onto the floor. I saw dead bugs on the floor, they probably died from the smell. There was no paper towels. I stop at this location a lot for books and the bathroom has not been fixed. Also the cashier begged me to do the survey, i guess that why theres so many good reviews. Overall im going to be taking a break from shopping at hot springs BAM

This BAM location is in the middle of store refresh. So be careful where you walk in the back corner of store.That being said, the store is very spacious and a decent selection of books to choose from. Its been a long time since I went into an actual book store. BUT I found what I was looking for and even found this cool gemini soap 😆and the lovely lady at the counter was super sweet and inviting. Ill be back!

The layout makes it cozy to browse but youre not let to your own devices in the least. The staff will help you find what youre needing even if it means guessing titles with you.Theres a few comfy chairs for you to sit and read in and some toys put out in childrens books to help keep them satisfied.Be sure to check out the bargain table.

I love how BAM has moved sci-fi and fantasy over to the wall, its much nicer. Sarah J. Maass latest in the Court series is out now, A Court of Silver Flames. Its a fabulous series, of you like fantasy its a must read.

The store has many nice products, but the workers dont seem very happy. During my short visit, I heard one complaining about management. Plus I felt I was mislead about rewards program by the cashier. Im sure she was told to do it that way.

Its a bookstore with lots of books, magazines and other related merchandise. Has a coffee shop inside. Its a respectable sized bookshelf.

I enjoy going into books-a-million from time to time. Im not a huge book fan but my wife is. She loves going through the popular and new best sellers area to see what other book series or novel she can get hooked on. I on the other hand love checking out the board games and puzzles area. On occasion Ill find one that I dont have. I also love to draw so checking out their drawing/notepads is always enjoyable. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

Okay. I used to love going to BAM, but now I can hardly stand it.The other cashiers are either lacking in customer service skills or just downright rude. Management doesnt seem to be happy to even be in the same room as employees or their customers. As a regular, Ive seen drama run rampant and unaddressed. The cashier with the cold needs to learn to cover her mouth or just stay home. Coughing and sneezing on customers and co-workers is not okay.At this point I only ever buy from the cafe. The employees working at the Joe Mugs there are kind and helpful. Theyll go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant experience not only with the cafe but the rest of the store. I am so happy that at least part of the store has excellent, attentive staff.

My son likes to stop in from time to time.They do have some good things in there but the bathrooms are a disaster, always scary, books are cheeper online and there is increasingly demonic stuff being pushed for children, I think someone from the satanic temple church owns all of the big block bookstores now, yeah, it is that bad if your awake and so I have decided it is better not to go at all

Ive been selling books to bookstores for decades. Since Im moving I decided to bring some books to Books-A-Million as its pretty much the only game in town. WHAT A JOKE. Out of 100 like new books they computer selected 24...for which I received $12.30. Really? And the resale value will be $150 or more? I realize they have the overhead, employees, etc, to pay, but whatever happened to fair? Another chain thats ONLY concern is MAKING MORE MONEY. Wont ever shop or sell to BAM again.

Very friendly employees and very accommodating. I hate being the one coming into a shop late because I know what its like to want to go home.Within a few minutes, I was handed a book I decided to purchase, but the employee had already pulled his drawer. Instead of acting like there was nothing they could do they quickly offered to use the register at the coffee shop. I really appreciated them doing that as this was an important book.

Hands down my favorite store. An amazing collection of books and Cool merchandise from many different games and book series. Lots of Cool projects and little knick knacks. There are books for very type of person: kids, parents,adults,rednecks, and people looking for interesting things. Staff is great and very helpful. Cant wait to get my paycheck and shop again!

We saw this place while vacationing and couldnt help but stop. We havent seen a Books-A-Million in years! It was nice and spacious with a good selection. It seemed to be a family-friendly place, unlike the one we used to live near. The employees were friendly. Everything was organized well, making it easy to find things. It was a relaxing break.
