Beautiful.. Even better than Shoprite which is doing a great job at business. Came at Brown Bag Sale unexpectedly not knowing what a deal it was. Fill a brown bag with produce and only pay 8 bucks. Tiny bananas and lovely bread. Only complaint is some of the plums and peaches are rotten and soft. Caramel apples are perfect. They had plain caramel, one with nuts and one with sprinkles. They have carbohydrate counts so its perfect with diabetics and diets.Their slogan really fits their name. Simple, Clean, Fresh. They had samples of cheeses and meats and I bought the first sample I ate. It was American Cheese and it was the best I had in my whole life.Rated 5/5 stars, anyone who is passing by for a vacation or is on a road trip, this is your one-stop shop with everything youd need

I Love RayFoods! Its a great neighborhood market. Fresh produce, excellent meat department, and basic food needs for great meals. The meat is very clean. All Fresh, trimmed and ready to cook. The chicken is perfect, and theres a good selection of beef and pork. The prices are excellent for a small store. I recommend you stop by and see for yourself.

Fresh produce at good prices. Location saves a long drive to the nearest super market. They have all the basics I need. Bought yellow squash, tomatoes, mushrooms, a lemon and snow peas.

Nice local small grocer with a decent variety of products. Produce is fresh and they carry veggie/vegan meat alternatives. Some items are higher priced than your big box grocery store. Employees are friendly and store is very clean. I hope RayFoods stays in town!

Nice store and very convenient for me. Prices are competitive and I like their produce. People are friendly too. They need to speed up their check out process a little.

Its a good idea, a market in a part of town that doesnt have any. Their selection is ok. They have a little of everything. The meat selection isnt consistent. Theyll have things one day and then not have it the next visit. Compared to big name grocers this place is more expensive but I expect and accept that. Theyre small and theyre convenient. However for a small market they should focus on freshness. We got hamburgers once. They were good, not great. We got produce more than once. Fruit was ok but didnt scream super fresh. Veggies are average. Tonight we got fresh garlic cloves and they were mostly green inside, a sign of an old clove.Im not here to trash them. Im here to encourage them to get better. Theres a whole neighborhood near you with no grocer extremely close. Focus on fresh. Offer more meat. Cold cuts that are fresh sliced. Produce that is fresh as can be. Give us fresh and local ingredients the big stores overlook.

We have been a few times. Location is great. Ive always wanted some business to thrive there.Grocery selection is an issue here. Its limited. They probably dont have what you need but if they do theyll likely have 1 and no variety.Kind of like a convenience store thats trying to sell fancy meats and produce. The produce selection is not the freshest as some others have pointed out. Certainly not worth a premium. The meat counter has some nice cuts. They are full retail. Not a place for weekly shopping and not really a place for stop and pick some up on the way home items either unless you want something you know they have and are willing to pay a little more.Staff is ok. I may be anti-social but I dont want to chitchat with my grocer. Or my grocery store checkout associate. All I need is an answer to a question if I have any.Hope they improve on their shortcomings. Id still like to see them thrive. I dont see a bunch of activity. Ill continue my occasional visits to see if things have gotten better.y first visit was shortly after they opened and Ive been back a few times over the course of the year. If they were an honest 4 or 5 star store Id be in there all the time.

A clean/friendly place to really shop! Place was empty over seven years. Ray Foods took over and turned the place more appropriate. Town lost PathMark few years ago and Imperial Foods took over. Within a year Imperial foods also closed. Hopatcong residents were travelling 7 miles to closest supermarket. This is great time saver.

A nice addition to Hopatcong. Reasonably priced fruits and vegetables the only drawback is the pre sliced cold cuts.

The produce section had great fruit which is my only reason for 2 stars. I went there with my fianceé today and I had to use the bathroom urgently! (Im months pregnant!) And the man, who I presume is a manager, said the bathrooms were out of order. No big deal, right? So I cut my shopping trip short and was at the register when the young cashier told me that the bathrooms were not out of order and that the manager only lets employees use it. That I can u understand, but not to a pregnant lady. And yes, I told him and didnt just assume he could tell Im prego!

The store itself is nice... for convenience BUT chasing away customers for spending a little extra time (a group of 7-10 people, that car pool there for 5-10 minutes at a time, 1-2 times a day) in the plazas parking lot because they’re partaking in a community based AR game that they’ve been playing there for the last two years is absurd. I will no longer be a patron here. The unwelcoming staff/management/owner should be more open minded if they really want to last longer than every other Business that was there before them. There are many people in this town and surrounding towns that would be more than happy to spend their money there but I’m sure will now avoid at all costs because of this. There are 25 parking spots in the front plus a handicap spot, more than enough space to spare for 5-10 minutes. Hoping for a positive outcome, I’d love to spend my money and time there.
