Todays treat, chips and pop corn! Chips are fresh daily, you can get more fresh if you wait for 15 min. They also have some collaboration pop corn with Island Popper. They add their original spice over the pop corn. I like they put a toothpick on each bag. (I use chopstick!) The lady was very friendly and kind. I cannot wait for my next visit.

It’s fun to visit Hawaiian Chip Company and purchase made to order chips. You can select seasonings to sprinkle onto your chips. The staff here is VERY friendly. We purchased the one pound box (shown in photo). Yum! The chips here are THE best!!

Excellence personified! This location spans 3 buildings (one of which is directly across the street but is easily distinguishable by the vibrant orange/gold color scheme). The building thats makai houses a deli (excellent musubis and sandwiches) and public restrooms. The building closest thats across the way sells drinks and their signature Taro chips and sweet potato chips and other ono snacks! The staff is top notch in their customer service and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting.In addition to their taro chips, they also sell potato chips (thicker like kettle style), macadamia nut okoshi, sauces, Uncles ice cream sandwiches, and other random goodies. Only the taro and sweet potato chips are made to order. The potato chips ($6/bag) are made in the mornings and once theyve sold out for the day, thats it! Of significant note is their seasoning bar by the entrance. Customers are invited to season their own chips (theyll give you an extra bag if you want to break up your chips into separate batches for seasoning). They have flavors such as furikake, salt, Cajun, Maui onion, nori, BBQ, cinnamon & sugar, garlic, etc. So yum! The okoshi was too sweet for me but definitely worth a try. My favorite seasonings were the salt, nori, furikake and Maui onion.Were heading back again for sure!

My son loves furikake but I dont add anything at all.... Just the fresh chips! You can also get an assortment of dips, hot sauces, ice cream sandwiches and even a coffee or latte! Ordered online for taro chips to be shipped to California. Easy online ordering form with shipping fees already included. Very surprised at how quickly we received our order which we submitted on a Sunday and received by Wednesday. The shipment was well-packed and arrived in pristine condition. Oh my goodness fresh, hot taro chips made to order that you can custom season yourself? Yes please! Free samples? Mmm hmm. Super friendly staff? Yup!These chips are thin and crispy and dont seem greasy at all. The seasonings are super fine powder so they stick on the chips. My favorite is Maui Onion but they are all good and not strong or overpowering.

Flavors include their nori, garlic,volcano and more. Get then freshly made and season with your favorite flavor seasonings. They also have a coffee bar. Stumbled across the Hawaiian Chip Company factory in Kalihi and was so glad I stopped in. You can order taro (grown on the Big Island) or Okinawan sweet potato chips made fresh to order with custom flavors. I ordered a bag of taro chips, original flavor, for $6. They also sell a larger size in a box. There is a spice area to customize your chips too. Eating these chips hot off the fryer makes them extra delicious! The Hawaiian Chip Company also carries their line of BBQ and hot sauces at this location and samples are available for their products. So ono!
