Shave Ice on steroids! Had the Mango flavor and it’s delicious. Lots of mango flavor and also includes mango slices and a scoop of mango ice cream (sorbet per owners response). The mini (small per owners response) was huge, easily shared. Will be back.

This might be new or not, but its new to me this time around. This place has a cool decor and some cool shaved ice flavors. We tried the papaya and the milk tea one. Both were very good and refreshing. The papaya in my mind was a bit more refreshing and had that fresh taste to it. The milk tea definitely reminded me of drinking milk tea. The boba and brown sugar grass jelly were also tasty.

Popped in when on vacation since I had seen super long lines the previous few nights. The strawberry shaved ice was enough for 4 people but since there were only 2 of us we managed LOL. Fun atmosphere, fair prices, and a good experience overall. Would return!

Certainly a different type of cold dessert. Its our first experience to shaved ice and its hard to explain. We did really enjoy it though.Its certainly way better than a slushy or snow cones.

We had Hawaiian shaved ice at a couple different places while in Honolulu. However, Ice Monster is definitely the best. We had the strawberry shaved ice and it was absolutely delicious. The small is huge and can be shared between two people, which is what my wife and I did. I wish we had tried this place earlier in our trip since we leave tomorrow and wont have time to try their other flavors.

The desserts were yummy. Not absolutely bad pricing but understand the location is in Waikiki so they can charge more. Had several desserts and everyone enjoyed them.

This is the 4th shave ice weve tried. By far, this is the best. Its also very different. We tried mango, strawberry, pineapple and papaya. We loved all except maybe the papaya. Very light, the fruit and sorbet that came with it are all amazing. We are planning on coming back during our short stay here. Plus the customer service was amazing.

Interesting flavors and experience! I had the bubble tea small size, and it was large enough for 2-3 ppl. You should go for it if you are in Hawaii for the first time. Long line but it’s typical of Hawaii!

Great Mango Sorbet. The shop is so cute and the little characters along the walls are adorable.We always passed by and the line was always long... this time around... we were able to slide right to the front. Yeyy. Loved the sorbet, a nice place to hang out while cooling off from the sun.

Shaved ice spot in main Waikiki area. Perfect spot to stop for little dessert. We got a small size strawberry shaved ice and it was more than enough for two. Very nice flavor and good combinations of toppings.

Ice monster, its a pristine place. The store front in the middle of Waikiki busiest shopping centers The decor is rocking with their characters through the store and the color layout is beautiful. They have 3 sitting sections to choose from. The ice cream is delicious. And the workers are friendly. They have all favors and a variety of different items for sale. If your in Hawaii, you must visit.

AMAZING!!! We wanted shaved ice and I remembered seeing a place called Ice Monster. Woahhhyyyy, Ice Monster shaved ice is amazing! It’s so light and fluffy almost like cotton candy. The flavors are bold, and the sizes are plentiful. I would recommend this to anyone in Waikiki who is looking for shaved ice 10/10.The staff is friendly, and will help if you have any questions. This here is a 🥭 Mango Shaved Ice with the Mango Fruit and it usually will come with 2 scoops of Mango Sorbet but I didnt wanted it. They got 5 different varieties and they all looked delicious. The staff are reasonably kindhearted and courteous within customer service. Come check it out and cool off.

This place has excellent shave ice! They flavor ahead of time and shave SUPER fine and thin. It feels like eating wonderful fruity frozen cotton candy.They serve with some pana cotta and sorbet. They also have a dairy free option.Really great stuff.

Really good service and the coffee one my bf got was great.I got the papaya and the ice had a very odd aftertaste and I couldnt stand it. The papaya sorbet was amazing, and I wish I had just gotten a cup of that. I wouldnt recommend the papaya ice though, unless this happened to be a weird batch.

Atmosphere was nice, with large seating area inside. The Strawberry Sensation we ordered was just okay for the $10 price tag. Staff unfortunately did not have much knowledge when it came to dietary needs (when I asked the cashier what items were gluten free, I was met with a confused stare). At most there were only 3 people present behind the counter, so I would heavily recommend going before the dinner rush. Not bad, but definitely not sensational.

Very cute place, great service, I went by myself so didn’t get the shaved ice but the popsicle was a very nice surprise. Taste so good!!

Best matcha and papaya shaved ice Ive ever had!! The tapioca pearls, panacotta cheese, sorbet, shaved ice, EVERYTHING goes well together. If I could give it a 10 out of 5, I would gladly do so!! (Husband agrees 100%)

A must try! I went here a lot when my family was staying in Waikiki and loved it every time! My daughter loved the little popsicles. The guy that worked the register was a pro at customer service! Super friendly and informative. Definitely good at his job. These sweet treats are delicious and very refreshing. I only wish they had more flavors for their bubble tea, but I wouldnt consider that a deal breaker because you dont go there for that 🤣 Other staff was also friendly. I had an A+ experience everytime and environment was very inviting every time. Will definitely visit again!

This might be blasphemy for a lot of people but I think this is the best Shave Ice on the island. It is 12 bucks for a small but it is just delicious. Dont get a large unless you want to share it with somebody, and probably share the small ha ha

Come here after eating a salty or spicy meal. It will really end your night on a good note. We ordered the mango shaved ice, came with a cotta and mango bites. It was really good except that it needed condensed milk! That would put it out of the world. The mango wasn’t the overly ripe one, instead more on the tart side, which balanced out with the sweet icy and on a cotta. I also wanted boba added but wasn’t sure if i add, next time!

The papaya milk (small) was amazing! Not too sweet, great flavor, and fluffy. One of my favorites out here.

The best shaved-ice in Honolulu! The ice is flavored so I like it better than the syrup on plain ice. A lot of ingredients! Extra cups for bobas and coffee jelly for the coffee shaved ice so it is really a lot!

Here again after a year and it’s just as good as we remembered. It took a little longer and done-in seating was limited but totally worth it for us! We always get the mango and the bubble tea both are delicious with strong flavors yet not too sweet which is just the way we like it. I typically get my boba milk tea zero sweetness so for me the bubble tea is perfect because the tapioca are served on the side for you to add as you like. If you want yours super sweet, I would recommend adding extra toppings.

We ordered the Mini Fresh Mango, Papaya Ice Cream and Boba Milk Tea. We loved it! The flavor is very fresh and tasty too. We especially love the boba. Love the sweet and bitter taste of the boba. Great customer service too (Tim)!

Extremely slow service. Couldn’t serve the full menu due to lack of ingredients. Ice had no flavor. Additionally, the presentation of the bowl is underwhelming and sloppy. This has so much potential for foodie’s to post their deserts. For the price you pay, I think there are better dessert places a few steps away.

Massive lines after 9 and it took about an hour to get the desserts. Flavors are pretty good and the Boba had a good texture. Is it worth waiting an hour plus? Maybe not, but it was the only iced dessert taking orders still on Waikiki.For clarity, this is not shave ice. Its closer to a Taiwanese shave ice. Not that thats a bad thing, but it shouldnt be confused!!

These desserts are very refreshing. I got their coffee flavored shaved ice. Its almost like having ice cream but, much lighter in flavor and texture. According to their website its served with a scoop of cookies and cream gelato, panna cotta, and brown sugar jelly. I think calling this gelato is being very generous. Its barely passable as just ice cream. Its icy. It doesnt have a smooth consistency. Its presence here isnt offensive, though. The panna cotta and jelly are nice. They add an interesting complement to the shave ice.

Great dessert place to take family while stay-cationing in Waikiki. Great options for kids with boba drinks and popsicles. The wife and I had the green tea ice monster and it was delicious, not too sweet but just right. Kids already asking to go again tonight and its already in the plan.

Waited 6 minutes at the register waiting to order while the workers had their head down, made no eye contact or acknowledgment that they would be with us to order in just a few minutes. All the workers seemed unhappy to have customers come in, even though the seating area was half empty. There’s other shaved ice in the area, so choose them insteadEdit: in response to the owner - I totally understand that you all are busy, but I would just like to mention a simple greeting/acknowledgment goes a long way. In the 15-20 mins I was there, I saw people walk out because they were ignored by you all. At the end of the day, if that’s how you’d like to conduct your business, then so be it, but this is simply a suggestion for improvement.

It does what it tries to do, which is the highest praise I can give a dessert shop. The Taiwan style shaved ice is unique and quite tasty (I enjoyed the tea flavor). Portions are large (even the smallest portion is); prices are probably what youd expect (maybe 10% more expensive). Lotta cool flavors, great environment in there, nice vibe. Service was great, though it was pretty empty when I was there so I dont know what its like if you have to wait in line.

Green tea shave ice was good. Their boba was yummy. The black sesame ice cream was a bit weird for me though.

This place is so much better than regular shaved ice.The texture of their shaved ice concoction is really like layers of tasty snow. Nothing compares. Once you have tried it, you cant go back to regular shaved ice. Unfortunately its a bit on the pricey side but I cant stop now! Tried the Mango, Papaya, Matcha and strawberry flavors. I need to go back and try the rest!

Very good taste! You can order small size. Small size was not small but medium size for me.There are original and small size.Original is about 13~15dollars. Small is about 7-8dallars.

This is the best thing ever. I have no idea how they make ice this soft. Where most use syrup the ice is already flavored so it doesnt melt. The mango was delightful and my kids acted like savages on a fresh kill. We will be back here.

The place is large and with its fun décor makes for an enjoyable place to relax while trying this unique Asian style dessert from Taiwan that anyone would enjoy if you like cold treats.It is a true shaved iced treat. The dessert is made from very finely shaved flavored iced that is impossible to describe. It is just something you have to checkout yourself. All I can tell you is that is is very delicious and will definitely cool you off as well as satisfy you for a snack or dessert.I tried the Papaya Milk Sensation which had fresh flavors of papaya shaved ice dessert with tapioca boba and panna cotta. It is great if you dont want anything that is overly sweet and has lighter flavors. I appreciated how they gave the warmed tapioca boba in a side container so that it didnt melt your desert before you could enjoy it. You just take a small spoonful of the warm tapioca and then dig into the papaya shaved ice for the full effect.One thing to note, is that is isnt a cheap eat, but you have to respect how they handcraft your dessert for you at time of ordering. It isnt like going to an ice cream parlor where they just take a scoop of your flavor choice and pile it on. I think it is worth it, but might not be the place for one who is budget conscious.

First time trying the shave ice here. Had the matcha and it was delicious. Great especially for a warm day. Cute decor, clean place, friendly staff. $11 for size small, was still a decent portion. Wish we had one back home.

This place was amazing and would definitely go again. Me and my boyfriend found it walking the streets of waikiki. We wanted a cold treat and found this place interesting. There was the sweetest lady that worked there all by her self and provided us with the best service. We were just going to get one cold treat here but ended up getting 2, it was just that good!!

Wow!!! We had the Mango Sensation and it was absolutely amazing... this is the super upgrade version of shave ice and the addition of panna cotta and fresh fruit pushed it over the top. Even if the line is around the block, totally worth the wait.

The pineapple giant monster was killa. Ice was fluffy & light, almost powdery. Fresh pineapple was tasty. Would be great on a hot day or daytime. We had it in the evening, still good. Will try the mango or coffee next time.

The location itself is very new, clean and bright. The portions are large, but expensive as well (plan to spend about $15). The ice itself is super cold and shaved extremely fine, but the flavours are very subtle and almost bland at times (I had the papaya). It was enjoyable but not worth the price.

I wish they will open this chain Ice Monster in the mainland. It is the best shaved ice I’ve ever tried in my life. I heard it was originally from Taiwan.The store located in the center of Waikiki area, next to Starbucks. They have several flavors and I choose to try the Matcha Sensation (since I’m a big fan of Matcha). Price is around $11.50 for a Small to $15 for a Large (little pricey for shaved ice... cuz it is Hawaii haha) but the taste is beyond expectations.My matcha shaved ice comes with brown sugar boba and a scoop of Sesame ice cream... trust me you won’t regret it!!I also love the store since its decoration is so cute and service is 10/10. Will visit again when I’m back to Honolulu ❤️

The serving sizes are huge! We probably could have shared but hey we were in Hawaii. The strawberry was my absolute favorite. The presentation was lovely and the taste was even better.

The service was extremely slow! We had to wait 20 minutes to order because they were so backed up on other orders. It took another 20 minutes for them to make the shaved ice. They also forgot part of the order so they had to dig in the trash to find the receipt so they could finish the order. Once we got the shaved ice we were really disappointed. We ordered the mocha, strawberry, and mango shaved ice and they all tasted artificial. Over all the shaved ice was very expensive for what you got and not worth it at all. Do not go to ice monster.

This was the perfect pick-me-up for our family. We ordered 3 different items - the black sesame sorbet, bubble tea and strawberry. Presentation was beautiful and taste even better - strawberry was my personal favourite!The servers and management were incredibly attentive and kind, as well.In short, you gotta eat here!

This place does shaved ice a little differently in that the flavor is in the ice block and then its shaved. If you get the Sensations you can get extra like sorbet, pudding, and fruit chunks on the side. Very tasty.

The shaved ice was good but it was incredibly slow. It didnt seem like there was any effective process in place to get through the line of orders.

They use UberEats and DoorDash delivery.

So fun! We loved the warm boba on the side. Mango ruled and true fresh mango was delicious. The Panna Cotta was bland and forgettable, but you can’t win them all.
