Most items here are priced significantly higher in the airport than they are outside in Hawaii. The savings on tax are not enough to offset the difference. Wouldnt recommend unless youre desperate. Selection is also a bit mediocre. They sell boxes of 2 locally grown pineapples for $29 which I was really curious about. Unsure if they taste good or not!
Service was slow as several others have mentioned, but the lady was so friendly and you could tell felt really bad. I would recommend to management to have more than one individual at the register as this place was constantly busy.
The things I bought last night @9:30ish were a 4 for $10 deal, and the lady at the register literally said to my face oh, these are different, theyre the 4 for 10 deal, which i obviously already knew. She then proceeded to charge me $15, the full price for each item. When I saw the price I said Thats a pretty big tax on a $10 purchase and she looked at me like she was caught but didnt offer any explanation. I got back to my gate 5 min before boarding time, checked the receipt, and had to go all the way back so she could refund me and charge it correctly. Her attitude was extremely condescending and she knew she was caught, but tried to save her butt in front of all the other customers by trying to make me look like I exaggerated, because she was embarrassed. How dare she. I have never been so ill treated by any sales clerk, and she needs to be beyond fired. She heard my phone call at the register that I was in a hurry to get to my gate for boarding and tried to take advantage of that. DONT SHOP HERE. They are completely dishonest. Im not at all surprised by the other reviews.
Purchased products for my wife. Akeme was very knowledgable and sweet. She knew the Dior line well. Prices were very fair. Cant beat the 4%sales tax. Recommend this store.
Charged me twice, continually spoke another language to communicate and most liquor was more expensive than ABC or Walmart.
When we go this duty free sales tell us that this duty free located inside airport is not tax exempt! Only the duty free located in Waikiki is real duty free. She said its Hawaiian state policy something. I dont know why they still called duty free 🙄️
Service was slow, rude and the staff was condescending and unhelpful.
The best
Souvenirs are expensive everywhere in the airport. You can go to the barber shop or kill time because there are many shops. There are return posts for rental smartphones and wifi devices on the right side of this store. If you buy a device (World Wi-Fi can be used in other countries and Japan) and buy a SIM card every time, its no hassle.
