The staff was very nice to us.

One star is for Palama being the only cheap, convenient snack store by the HPU learning commons. The other star is for the Icees. But everything else is bad. The hot food made both myself and other students sick on more than one occasion. The snack selection has decreased to potato chips, Doritos, and Cheetos. And be sure to check expiration dates. I once accidentally bought expired peanut brittle.Ive been in Palama on more than one occasion when there were literally no employees to be seen, let alone management. I dont think Ive seen a manager once.If you do decide to go, which most HPU kids will out of desperation, go at night. The old lady who works during the day is the worst. She once yelled at me for trying to get a hot dog because apparently they werent finished cooking. She also yelled at me a different time for spilling coffee creamer. And there was yet another time when she acted like I was an inconvenience because I asked for a plastic fork. I think she started hating me after the coffee creamer incident.
