I would give zero if i could. This pharmacy is the absolute worst! The staff in the pharmacy are super rude, Debbie and Jason are the only ones i can recall by name right now but they are terribly rude and unprofessional. its so sad, this pharmacy used to be upstanding and the place to go for prescriptions. Now it is an embarrassment to Hawaii kai. I will now only fill rxs at longs aina haina or walgreens koko marina. They know how to provide great service in a timely fasion.
Located at the far end of the entrance of the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center, opposite of McDonalds, on Keahole St.Youll normally have 2-3 registers open at a time. Ive never seen more. Its ok because it really doesnt get too busy in there.Overall a clean little store with nice staff. They do have a pharmacy located at the back.
The employee grabbed my arm (because I had headphones on) to ask if I needed a wheel cart (while I was getting a handheld cart myself) and scared the s... out of me !!!!! Not appropriate during 6ft apart Covid quarantine. Please DO NOT TOUCH CUSTOMERS !!! 5 stars because I love this location.
Get your prescription filled at another pharmacy if you need it in a timely manner. On every occasion I’ve used this pharmacy they tell me it will be ready in an hour or half an hour and typically it won’t be ready for six hours or even until the next day. I think they are over worked and under staffed
Pharmacy never answers the phone and never has prescriptions ready when they say they will. Terrible service. I would recommend going to another pharmacy if you have the option.
The tech at the pharmacy is so unnecessarily rude. Would not recommend this pharmacy. Go elsewhere if you can.
After the doctor sent a prescription electronically, I waited for a half hour before even leaving for longs. 10 min drive 5 min in the parking lot and 10 min more in the line the tech says he has no record of the prescription. Ugh I call the doctor back he says he sent it. I told the tech to check again. He says oh yeah its in the que. We havent even started on it . Oh its there after all huh.....why did you make me call the doctor back when you had it the whole time. He just looked at me with discuss. It will be another 30 min before its ready he said. Ugh now I am sitting in one of 4 chairs they have for a peanut gallery waiting. Over an hour now.
The good thing about Longs is that its rainchecks do not expire. The bad news is I would rather have the product than the raincheck. Things are improving week by week at Longs. It appears Longs takes customer feedback very seriously. Thank you Longs for listening to your customers. I hope you are listening to your employees feedback, too! :)
I am glad the store is renovating to look nice like the other stores. People should not be stressed out at a place that sells cosmetics and medicine. High turnover store since Tom the store manager took over. He thinks lowly of his staff. I was an overnight supervisor and I switched to safeway because Tom wouldnt pay me $15 which is what other supervisors start at other Longs. After I left, he wised up and pays supervisors $15. I took pride in the store and because of it he didnt think I would walk. He did not do a thing for me, that is how he is.
Very bad customer service, Liberty was the name of the cashier, she was not friendly at all, rushing me, annoying and not respectful. Maybe she was hungry, but still you need to treat customers better.
The renovation was greatly appreciated. However, this place is a bit unorganized and the stock is changing, so it is a challenge to find things.The staff is helpful.
Now I know why its called LONGS. because every time I go, there is always a LONG line. Last time I went there were literally 22 people in line with only 2 registers. Its like this every time I go in. They never open up other lines to ease the wait time. Horrible.
Felicia in the pharmacy is awesome. Period. If she ran the store, it would be a happy, happy place.
Longs has a bad rap, but this one takes the cake!!! The pharmacist, he said his name was Scot, seriously has ISSUES! He must hate his job, hates people, hates the world, I guess......How can you work as a pharmacist. SHAME ON YOU!!. You have NO people skills, NO phone etiquette, No courtesy, No nothing. You are the RUDEST and NASTIEST pharmacist I have EVER incountered. You make Jason look like tinkerbell. YOU DONT HANG UP ON CUSTOMERS!!
Looking for clove oil (recommended to toothaches), pharmacy didn;t have it, answered with professionalism, clerk from the front also went to look, he said couldnt find it. On to Whole Foods.
