Lawson Station is a souvenir and convenience chain in Waikiki, selling a fairly standard array of gifts and general snacks. What elevates this particular Lawson Station are the truly superb shave ice and snow ice offerings. The ice is soft and finely shaved, and the syrup generously applied, making that first bite so deliciously sweet and melt-in-your-mouth good. For an extra treat, try requesting some vanilla ice cream in the bottom of your shave ice. The snow ices, a more lavish treat, mix flavors with various toppings and sides, like the pictured strawberry-mango snow ice drizzled with condensed milk and with strawberry and mango chunks on the side. Service is quick and friendly, and you cant ask for a better place to enjoy your shave ice than at the nearby Waikiki Beach. Please note that as of September 2021, you are required to wear a mask in order to enter the store.
Super good stuff. I bought some souvenirs here and shaved ice of course. I was happy to see the lady here enforcing the mask rules. Rules are rules no matter what or how we feel about them. Some people think they’re above rules. It’s not that difficult to be compliant. Good workers. Good souvenirs. Good shaved ice. I forgot cash for a tip. Sorry about that!
What to say .. just try the snow ice cream 🍨 here ..it is the best I ever had .. supper yummy 😋.. they have dole ice cream and that is also very popular so go early to get it . When I went it was crowded and things are getting super fast . My kids loved the rainbow 🌈 shaved ice .. menu is limited but everything is very tasty 😋.. just have your ice cream, relax and watch the sunset.
Oh my gosh, if you haven’t had the Snow Ice, this is the place to get it! Absolutely awesome to get one then watch the sunset on the beach. They also serve Dole whipped ice cream, which seemed to be super popular. Would definitely try again!
Affordable, delicious shaved ice. Quick service. Friendly staff.
Try the strawberry mango snow ice and you wont be disappointed!
Good spot for shaved ice in waikiki.
Great pineapple soft serve. Very friendly staff
The best shave ice!
This place didnt look like much, but we stopped for Shave Ice on our first day in Waikiki. I didnt expect much, but it was so delicious. The best Shave Ice we had during our 2 week stay (and we had it at a lot of places!). Their mango and strawberry ice dessert was the best thing Ive had - loved it so much, we went back 3 times. We tried to go back on our last night in Oahu, but they closed their ice machines early (9pm) :(
Overpriced items and limited supplies.
Grab a Dole whip cone or cup. Pairs well with local baked sweets. Friendly service, reasonable prices, convenient location.
Convenience store with souvenirs, snacks and limited supplies. This location had shave ice and Dole whip. It was a pretty small store but great location next to the water.
Um Oh my god Lawsons shave ice is like CRACK. For the love of GOD get the strawberry and mango snow ice and prepare to have your mIND BLOWN.
The young lady who made our shaved ice have higher portions lots of syrup and obviously takes pride in what she does. If go so far as to say she took pride in get craft. Great experience
Took the family here and tried the dole whip, shave ice, snow ice and the handmade ice cream sandwich, all were excellent. Had no issues with the service, they were friendly.
The snow ice is awesome, the employees, not so much. Visited several times and each time they’ve been rude. Oh and when they say they close at 12, that’s the store. The snow ice closes whenever they get tired of making it. It was closed at different times every night and each time we were given either a rude answer or no answer at all. It’s unfortunate there aren’t other snow ice places nearby
I had shaved ice and Dole whip which both tasted great.
Service is a bit slow here but it’s worth the wait. The shave ice is delicious and bigger than the ones you can get elsewhere. She care about what she does!
Just a regular convenience store with few japanese items
Its not as Japanese as the normal Lawson store. Still quite awesome to have.
Had their strawberry and mango shaved ice, it was very good, sweet with a good mix of ice and mango chunks.
Best snow cone Ive had since I was a kid.
Japanese convenience store chain. Great place for Calpico and Japanese snacks.
Good shave ice and mochi close to the beach.
Small convenience store and lots of good snacks.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Have iced mochi and shave iced
Extremely rude staff
Awesome!
Lawson next to Moana Surfrider. Its next to the police box on Waikiki Beach, so its convenient when youre thirsty or hungry on the beach. The famous shave ice is recommended.Due to the influence of the corona pandemic, as of April 2021, there are no products such as rice balls for Japanese tourists in stores.
When I came last time, I bought Zaru soba and ate it, so when I came again, I was disappointed that the shelves had only cup ramen and daily necessities. After all it is the influence of corona.
The uniform is Hawaiian and cute 😍
This store also sells shaved ice. You can buy Japanese-style hand-made rice balls at convenience stores at Lawson in Waikiki. It is a standard ingredient such as salmon and kelp, but I always buy it during my stay. The price is high, but it is delicious.
The head family is reimported by Lawson of the United StatesThe assortment is completely different from Japan. In particular, foods such as bento boxes are like Japanese food overseas.Only the signboard is the same as Lawson in Japan. We also sell fluffy shaved ice that is familiar to Hawaii.
A store that Japanese people can rest assured. Shave ice is oversized and sells instant udon noodles such as oden, rice balls, red fox and green tanuki.
I ate shaved ice. Its the best in hot Hawaii. The cashier male clerk knew this.
A lot of Japanese ingredients are sold.
Volcano ice cream to fall !!! Hawaiian specialty
Pure pure lillicoy butter was on sale!It is so delicious that you should buy Kore ♪
Impression of a local convenience store
I visited to buy a name and key chain.
