I 100% agree with the comment below. The manager is a complete a$$hole. His name is Chris and he is the rudest most condescending employee Ive ever spoke to. He looks like a mop hand and acts like a ceo of a big company. His sloppy attire and ignorant attitude towards customers is disrespectful and uncalled for. He needs to be fired for the way he speaks to customers. He called me fat and yelled at me in the store in front of everyone even when I wasnt even in the store. I was outside eating my food that I had just bought at the store. Chris needs to go.
So on our stay we have visited a lot of abc stores. Most have been very friendly and all have told us to save our receipts to get a free gift. We saved up over $500 in receipts which we where excited to get our free gifts. Except at this location we where greeted by the rudest, most unfriendly, arrogant manager. It was like we where completely bothering him. He made a comment that they usually don’t do it this late. So I guess 1030 pm when you close at 1200 is too late. My girlfriend got our free gifts but someone needs to train that guy what customer service is.
You could find everything you needed. Early bird opening and close at midnight. People are very kind. Very convenient.
Good selection of items for a small convenience store
They close at 11 not 12. Could have saved myself a walk if this wouldn’t have lied
Busy place, Waikiki is expensive, but I like ABC stores
There’s something about this store that brings up childhood memories. From the random toys to Kona coffee, I truly get excited going back. I finally got to take my kids there and they loved it too.
Love this place. Everyone is super friendly.
Everything you could need.
A convenient place to buy items when visiting the island. We stayed at an Air B&B near this location and we were at this store to many times to count. Although some of the items are higher priced, you expect this in Hawaii. The customer service here is fair. It was busy every time I came in.
This store isnt big but it has everything you may need on vacation. It can get crowded sometimes which makes walking between the isles hard but the staff at the register works very efficiently to reduce the traffic.Useful hint: if youre looking for macadamias, they had 12 oz bags cheaper than in Target.
This super store has everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to adult beverages. You can also stock up on souvenirs for the friends and family. Prices are not bad. They will even blow up your water raft for you too. Now thats customer service.
Great spot for souvenirs and cheap food on the go.
Local store chain. Decent prices for souvenirs. At the end of your trip you can go will all your receipts to get a gift!
Its really nice and close to my hotel, like everything else here its expensive. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Smallish store but has pretty much everything you need...
Lots of selection at this location. Decent prices for a convenience store in Waikiki. Cheap souvenirs that you can bring home on the plane.
Always have what we need. If we ran out of produce items, we know theyll have it for us. If we need something without going to the grocery store. Staff here is very friendly.
Aloha! This store is just a 2 minute walk from the Ilikai. When we are in vacation we have everything we need here. Sometimes we dont have time to go to Costco and this abc will do. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I like their selection of clothing too. I also liked the hoody sweater I bought too. Across from McDonalds plus its well maintained.
Good place to buy things you need around waikiki.
Tourist trap. You can literally walk only two blocks to go to a neighborhood grocery place with 2/3 of the price.
They always have everything we need!
Good selection, handy location
It seemed like this location had more items than the ABC store at the Hilton Hawaiian Village where I stayed at. I loaded up on snacks and pre made sandwiches here for our excursions in Oahu.
Store open til one.....sure. Wife was sick and they closed at 12:00 when on google they say open til 1. Guy running the store was super rude. Figure it out ABC.
You can get in ABC-store what you want coffee 20 oz for 1.46$
Large variety, clean store and friendly staff
It is an ordinary ABC store. There are plenty of products such as groceries, alcohol, beach goods, and souvenirs that you can eat lightly at the hotel.Even if you dont bring anything from Japan, you can usually get it here, but its expensive. The reason why it is normal but ☆ 5 is that the staff are friendly and when the 2018.8 Hurricane LANE approached, all the other ABC stores were closed, but only here was open. Thanks to that, I didnt starve even if I was canned at the hotel, which was very helpful.
It was the closest to the Hoblon Hotel, which is now empty. Although it is a normal ABC, it is smaller than in Waikiki and easy to use.The number of souvenirs is smaller than the stores in Waikiki, but there are at least the necessary items. In the old days, Kaoru was at most 50 cents, and if he thought it would have risen to a dollar, inflation continues to be incredible. Especially in Hawaii, prices are high, so the price of the bus is also great.
A typical convenience store in Hawaii. We sell a lot of souvenir items and things you will need during your stay.I miss spam rice balls.T-shirts are sold at ridiculously cheap prices, but its surprisingly good.Sometimes it has a cute design and it feels good on the skin, so its good for indoor wear or for a little outing. The store is bright and spacious. You may stop by when you are tired of walking and want to avoid the sun.
A long time ago, when I had the Hoblon Hotel, I often stopped by. I used it conveniently because it was only here.Assortment of goods is almost the same as other ABCs, but Spams Musbi was delicious at the cheapest simple price of $ 1 at that time.Goza used on the beach is a time when fifty cents rose to $ 1.Occasionally park your car on Hoblon Street and buy spam musubi and water. Its junk food, but for some reason this is the most delicious.
Ordinary ABC (Ko Olina Aulani etc have high-class stores but this place is normal). It has been used since the old days of the Hobron Hotel. Its a calmer shop than Waikikis full-tour souvenir shop, but it also has no parking. However, if it is a short time, you can stop at Hoblon Road in front of the intersection. When staying at Prince Waikiki H., Rasta Plaza Waikiki H., Waikiki Marina Resort Waikiki H. (Ilikai & Luxury Suite H.), etc., the beachfront store is closest.Quality of clerks: There are more calm people than the young clerks in Waikiki. Some people are kind, because they are free, but it is better to think that they are normal.
I eat spam balls every time in Oahu, but I think this place is delicious even with the same ABC. Maybe its just because Im often hungry, but I think its a bit better than Donki (behind Ala Moana).
Convenience store with everything you need and good prices.
Cheap souvenirs
A place to buy drinks on the way from Hilton to Ala Moana
If youre staying in a condominium, buy groceries here.
