So far, so good. I need to print things every now and then for the training Im in and Ive been able to do so with no problems at this location. The staff have all been nice and helpful.

Use to work here as a part timer for the extra cash. I liked working at this location but the environment between the employees can be toxic. There is no to little consideration of what employees want. The manager at the store is okay. He can be a diva from time to time but over all his okay. The supervisor for the print dept is something else. She passes on judgement on one side and does not consider the other party. To her, i guess if one person initiates the complaint the other party is completely guilty without asking for the full story before.If you want to work here it can be demanding sometimes due to high demanding customers but not all are bad. Met some great people who were seriously down to earth. If you plan on taking a part time job for the kick then this place is not for you. Unless you thrive on drama and one sided judgements then this place is all you need. Stay away.

The staff around to help was very kind. But as I wanted to make a purchase for a chair I found a coupon for 20% off. I wanted to use the coupon but the staff told me i should order the chair through the website cause they are not sure if it will work. I Was able to order my chair and had an order number and everything showing I was able to buy the chair with the coupon. But as the staff was helping to get the chair ready the old male manager came and said he is unable to let the chair go as the order didnt come in yet. So I told him then why dont you just use the coupon now and ring me up as the coupon must work since I just got 20% off and the order went through saying I can come in for pickup. The manager then proceeded to want to see my coupon and I showed him a coupon on a site that collects coupons and he had the nerve to tell me oh he cannot accept this coupon as this is not from his company which is Office depot. I couldnt believe what I was hearing as how could a coupon from anywhere else can work on your own website!?!?!? Its obviously a office depot coupon code!! Why would anything else work and even if it isnt why does that even matter!?!? If it works then it works!! He didnt even TRY to use the coupon or offer any solutions. Also we were never even taken to a register to try anything. Just excuses to say come back tomorrow. Also if you saw the coupon work and this coupon doesnt work then give me a 20% coupon!! Thats obvious customer service! A terrible manager that does not care about the customer and wants to do as little as possible. Disgusting

A store having it all from laptops to post it notes. The location is perfect off Ala Moana Blvd in Kakaako. The staff is friendly and quick to assist with any needs.

So grateful for Gaddy today I asked him what his favorite charity was he said United Way he says they are doing a lot for the island I had a couple little projects Daddy had some awesome ideas and save me lots of money I was able to get my insurance card and laminated and some share with others magnets for my car even the manager was there greeting people at the door maybe next time he can get me a hookup

I was impressed with their customer service on the first day. Staff was very friendly. I order a chair and they told me it will arrive next day, however I waited for last three days and I didn’t receive any call from them. So I decided to visit the store, there I spoke with manager Scotty . I was very disappointed with his customer service. Scotty was not paying attention on our conversation and I didn’t feel welcome at all.

Terrible service! We waited for 20mins asked three employees for help and got nothing. I had to ask one of the cashiers for help. After buying $600 worth of stuff they said they don’t have a single thing to cover our stuff from the rain. They wouldn’t even give us trash bags. I’ll never come back

Not recommend for business card. Requested business card with sample paid $25, and received sample from Office Max, it was not even close design...sent my own digital design, waited two days ti follow up but staff was not aware that I sent an email. Still keeping $25 for their design and charged additional price for card. Not even say sorry or thank you.Bad experience and bad customer services

They were very helpful. The boss judah helped me pick a nice durable table chair. He picked me the eight transparent plastic for the chair to slide so the rug doesnt get worn out. The warehouse worker Ron took the items and packed it nicely in the car. He is very friendly and always smiling. They made my day.

Called to see if there were rolling briefcases in stock. Person said we should have them. I explained I was trying to save myself a trip for nothing, so could he please check? He said the aisle was far. He put me on hold and apparently checked the computer and said our inventory says we have. Very poor customer service.

Great customer service and decent selection of office supplies. They dont always have what I came in for, but they have really nice staff that is willing to order things if they can. I bought both my printer, and my laptop from them, and got really good deals on both. Depending on what you are looking for, you might get better prices online, or at Fishers, but the service and availability of products makes it worth checking out. Bonus is the great Kakaako wall art, and good parking. Negative is the homeless people that have set up camp all over the neighborhood.

I like comito this OfficeMax as the people I speak to are knowledgeable about the products they sell. If in the likelihood they dont know, they either find someone that does or look up the information for me. Pro tip: if you go online and see a better price then what the store offers they will match the price. Just show them the add on your electronic device and there you go. Worst case scenario is you can buy it online and pick it up at the store as well.

I dont know if they do this regularly but every time I go in there someone is at the door greeting and offering to direct me to what Im looking for. Was able to do a last minute printing placing the order online in-store and getting it the same day within half an hour.

The print center is awesome! I sent a picture of an ID badge I needed for a Halloween costume and it’s perfect! I figured it wouldn’t be exact but it was and it was ready within an hour.

A good selection of office supplies - customer service is pretty hit or miss: the cashier wasnt friendly. Its amazing how good customer service makes such a big difference.

My wife and I have been long time customers at Office Max store number 6206 located 770 Ala Moana Blvd. in Honolulu Hawaii. We just recently purchased another new work station/desk from them, along with a chair and lamp. We are very happy with the quality and prices on all of these items.We find everyone at the store to be very helpful, friendly and professionalbut would also like to give special praise to a particular employee, Ms. Sherly Doropan, for being a great sales associate. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful to my wife and I as we make purchases and all the while, makes us feel like a part of her family. As a writer who works from home, I spend many hours at my desk and thanks to Sherlys expert consultation, this new work station is very comfortable and functional, making my job much easier.In closing, I would like to again thank Sherly and the rest of the staff for all of their help. Keep up the great work, we would wholeheartedly recommend this store to any of our friends or family.

Visiting OfficeMax is a pleasure. I feel relaxed. People there listen to my needs and show me just IT, no more. On the other hand, going to Best Buy is like going to the car dealership. Their staff up-sale me at every chance, and I always feel uncomfortable not getting the best. I get all stressed out at Best Buy. Same goes at the Apple Store. OfficeMax has great weekly killer deals, so thats what I end up getting. Their regular price seems to be on the high side. My daughter did found the $1 gift bin, shaped erasers for all.

No stars I should have known better but I went in to look for some tape for my label maker no one said hi, can I help you, are you looking for something in particular. However they sure had a conversation on music and what they were going to do or did on the weekend. Its no wonder they have no customers in the store. I will go to Fisher Hawaii!!!

It hasnt been the same since the merger between Office Max and Office Depot. Service from staff is okay but rewards program doesnt seems to be enticing. There were better promotions in Office Depot before.

With all the similar retailers slowly dying off, this store deserves kudos for its surviving in the area. Online delivery can take a week to Hawaii therefore grabbing an office item of your needs on the same day is a big plus.

I went there after going to BestBuy and a small computer repair shop with my computer that would not start up at all. Nando help me out and was able to get my computer working! He figured out I need to replace the battery, but everything else was fine. He did everything right in front of me! If you have any computer issues, I highly recommend going and visiting Nando!

Some of the staff here at Office Max Ala Moana location are racist! I know because I have just been made a victim of racist in this store. I never thought that Id find racism in this state, but it certainly exist at this location. The gestapo like staff that approached me clearly indicated that an employee without basis felt uncomfortable about me shopping in the store, but they did not care to explain what I did to that made that employee felt uncomfortable, because I did nothing and knew no one at this store in the past or present that warrants that kind of reaction. We were only there minutes when I was approached and told that an employee felt really uncomfortable me shopping in there. Ridiculous! Racist! The staffs that had ordered me to leave on behalf of that uncomfortable employee, took his or her word for it without any justification, they just decided to side with that employee. But these workers dont realize that its paying customers that pays their salary and benefits. And if I was the owner, I would have fired the two employees that ordered me to leave because of a petty felling of an employee.
