We went around 7:30am. The line took around 20 minutes and then another 10 minutes to receive our food & drinks. We ordered the “Dolce and Banana” which was a Banana Chocolate Mocha. Couldn’t really taste the banana in it, if anything it was very, very subtle. I’d say it’s comparable to a Starbucks Mocha, nothing too special. The Acai Bowls were pretty average as well.
A gem of a find!! Awesome customer service, even with a huge line of customers. Miles of smiles and took good care of all orders, impressive! Coffee was perfect, the Acai Bowls great start for the day with fresh fruits. Enjoyed the Coco Head smoothie, refreshing and tasty. Another positive on the island. Thank-you!
This cafe is next to a very busy restaurant (1.5 hour wait in August). So we stopped in the cafe for coffee while we waited and it was amazing. We came back the next day for breakfast and it was soooo good! The service staff was friendly and the line went by super quick. Great opportunity to grab a quick high quality bite in a very busy season for Hawaii.
When asked for recommendations the waitress looked at me like I spoke a different language. Also, I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and when getting ready to eat my second half of sandwich found a long curly black hair in under the ham it was absolutely disgusting. I would have gone back in to address this but only had 5 mins before shuttle left for Pearl Harbor. This a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Thanks
The Flat White was excellent!! Had breakfast today and the French Toast was awesome and friendly staff. Ill definitely visit again on my next trip!!
Go to Starbucks around the corner. Three stars for the Acai Bowl, it was pretty good. I would do 1 star for the coffee. Its absolutely terrible. I tried a Carmel Macchiato one day and then a plain soy latte the other day thinking maybe itll be better. NOPE. The espresso tastes absolutely burned I didnt finish either drink.
We love coming here in the mornings when we stay at the Ilikia. The Acai bowls and paninis are my teens favorite. We were bummed at our last visit the lines were long so we only waited once. We will be back in October and try again. The staff are always pleasant even when the lines are long.
Food is delicious, wait was not long. They served me and my wife our coffee right away as soon as it was ready so we weren’t waiting empty handed. And the coffee is absolutely amazing!🙏 strong and smooth! All the way around best açaí bowl We’ve had in Waikiki or Hawai’i! Definitely check out Hawaiian Aroma Caffe!😌👍
Horrible! Everything was really bad taste! Even the coffee was bad! No recommended
Lined up originally for Cinnamons but they were too busy and stumbled intoo this place instead ... and Im glad I did. I was PB Delighted. Dare I say one of the best acai bowls Ive ever had?
The staff is amazing here! Very playful and knowledgable about the coffee and the local area! They were accomadating with my difficult order and never made me feel unc9mfortable asking for a slight change. Quick tip, dont order anything while waiting for a table at Cinnamons. You arent allowed any outside drinks or food and they will not seat you if you still have it!!
Their smoothies are just juice and frothy-like ice just an FYI! The papaya was not ripe and sad as well
I was so sad eating here after having such high expectations after eating at the Aroma Caffe location near the international market. This does not deliver the same quality food. The location is also much smaller. I ordered the PB Bowl, Traditional waffles, bacon, eggs, and a pumpkin spice latte. The PB Bowl was good and the waffles too. But thats it. They forgot to provide syrup, when asked they gave some prepackaged little bits. The scrambled eggs was more like a lb runny empty omelette. Bacon was very thin. Pumpkin spice latte tasted like burnt almond milk. The remake with soy milk was off flavor. If you want to experience the amazing Aroma Caffe go to the other one.
DO NOT GET LARGE ICE DRINKS! GET MEDIUM!!! they are basically the same size. I asked for a large and they gave me a medium. When i said it was a large he poured it into a large and it was basically the same exact size! Minus a tiny splash of milk they added. When i say splash i mean like a it was less than an ounce difference. Then he heard me say its basically the same size he added more milk which just made the cup overflow and spill out what he added to make it look more l.
Being a foodie and a foodtographer I was excited to try something new!I was finally able to try a Açaí bowl for the very first time now Im hooked! It looks as good as it taste. The fruits were very fresh, I was extremely satisfied.I also had the pleasure of trying the iced coffee, it was also very good.I cant wait to visit again! ❤#hawaiianaromacaffe #Açaíbowl#acaibowl #TTeatz
I was this place last Sunday. I ordered a large iced Americano and a large vanilla latte. Total came out around $13. I charged this to my debit card. I put tip $1 with CASH. So I clicked on no tip option. When I checked on Monday, I was charged $16.08. So I called the phone number that is listed on Google, but no one answer. It sounded like mobile phone. I called the Ilikai Hotel to find out the phone number and hotel employee asked my name and number so she can run to the cafe and let them know to call me.Nobody called.Thank god that I live here.I know its only $2-$3 difference but how can they charge more? If they didnt charge more, does that mean one large drink costs $7-$8?If nobody calls me for this matter, I have to contact the hotel who is actually renting that place.
Went here for a quick lunch, got smoothies and they were excellent, but then somehow our whole food order got missed. They remade it and forgot one sandwich. Staff was apologetic but it was still a straightforward order that should not have had any complications. The sandwiches that were made were decent, but certainly not worth the wait.
Great location in the heart of downtown Honolulu. The moment you walk in, you can smell the fresh coffee being brewed. A great variety of sandwiches and sweet treats in display. Coffee is reasonably priced and the baristas really know what theyre doing. Plenty of seating for an easy 15 minute break from the office or to catch up with an old friend.
When everyone is waiting to eat at Cinnamons...go here and try anything on their menu. We had the croissant ham and cheese...the everything bagels with cheese and bacon...and the sunny side up waffle...and they were all fantastic. Good chai tea too...
Awesome little coffee bar. I was told by a friend that this place has the best coffee in Honolulu. He was right. Friendly and fun girls behind the counter. You cant go wrong here for your coffee fix.
Theres a strong force of positive ambiance in this coffee shop that can immediately make you want to smile all day. I realized one thing, I should never judge something or someone again without even trying it or knowing it first. We are coming back again.
Coffee was ok.
The staff was not very friendly. Food was very normal and pricy compared to the other similar cafes. Would not recommend, its not close to the beach either .
Slow service, and the coffee is overly roast... Its in a convenient location and they do offer discounts and some food items, overall its okay
Frosted mint mocha (hot) was delicious but strong (& I drink coffee daily.) Same with my husband & sons iced mochas. Good breakfast options. Acai bowls, ham & cheese croissants, chocolate muffins & other cafe bakery items. But if you do get a panini or croissant sandwich expect to wait. We got there 1 hour before we had to meet our shuttle for snorkeling and drank half our coffees and still worried we would miss the shuttle waiting for our food. Ate it on the shuttle. Great retail area with lots of gift items. Free ice water.
This place has one of the best acai bowls!
Tammy and Emilio are just great. Fantastic service. Undoubtly the best piccolo on the island. For that coffee starter the only place to go.
Italian soda is good but when you are standing at the counter and others get waited on first not good... I ask the lady for help can I get a drink... she says I need to come to her.. no u are the waitess u assist the customer
I had a little time before heading out to the airport, I looked forward to having really good Açaí in Hawaii.Ordered the small Açaí- tropical. It was mostly fruit and granola.Fruit was good but the amount of Açaí was a joke for the price. Not worth the money spent. So very disappointed.
Great cafe. Coffee was excellent and staff were always very friendly. Definately worth stopping by here.
Place is closed for good yet still in google maps. Walked for 30 min looking for it
Great place and great coffee. I would deftly recommend this place
Idiots made me and family wait 30 minutes for our food. Only to be told by 1 of them threw our pick ticket way. Wont even bother going back
Small but good quality coffee and food items. My favorite was the brownie.
The caramel macchiato was good.
Not very good service...but forced you to pay tip...and not very eco friendly as they use a lot of plastic products...
Too pricy. Good grab and go
Excelente! Almond Croussant
Good place for coffee and tea or small bite
I love this place! :)
Very slow, not worth wait
Loved it
Excellent coffee!
If you go to this house, please try asai berry ballIts easy to eat like a smoothie because of the iceIts good to have lots of fruit. The coffee had a different aroma coffee branch than this one, but the staff was friendly and pleasant.
