Very pleased with my first visit to Honolulu MedSpa. The staff were so friendly and professional and their system of booking appointments all the way to checking out at the end is very well organized. Definitely will be going back.

Nurse practitioner Sara was professional and super sweet! She really helped to calm my nerves and fear of needles. I also had my first laser hair removal treatment and it was quick and pain free. I am awful with names and cannot for the life of me remember the name of the lady who did it but she was FANTASTIC. Basically all the staff I met at the MedSpa were great

It was my first time getting a facial and it was with Tiana, who was so sweet and kind! My appointment was at 5pm and we started exactly at that time. The room I had my facial in was very clean and comfortable from the temperature, soft sheets, and relaxing music. Her welcoming presence, and knowledge with her job made me feel so comfortable having her work on my face. I enjoyed every minute of my facial and plan to come back soon! (:

This was my first Hydrafacial/dermaplaning experience. It was wonderful. My beauty expert was Veronica and I give her a 10 for her care in going over every process of the procedure and tips going forward to help with my skin condiontions and advice on other treatment options. I had the best hydrafacial experience ever with Tiana at HMS. She went above and beyond to make sure my appointment was relaxing, fun, and (most of all) effective, and I cant sing her praises enough. The front desk staff also take amazing care of you and ensure you get the best results possible. My skin is dewy, plump, and clear and I couldnt be happier. If youre thinking about scheduling an appointment, do it!

I have been to a few injectors in Honolulu and this is one place I would not trust again with my skin and/or face.My first experience with Dysport with Lisa was good. I went back and referred my friend but we saw different RNs who were not as good as Lisa unfort. My friend spent thousands of dollars here on fillers and Botox, I spent a few hundreds on Botox, both of us had better experiences other places. My friend was severely bruised and her Botox weeks later has still not taken effect.On top of both of us not being very satisfied w our treatments, they told us both I would get $50 off for referring her, but at checkout forgot to apply my discount. No biggie, accept when I noticed and called the next day, no one called me back. A week later after my vacation, I called again. The front desk said only the manager could refund me, so I spoke with her. She was unhelpful and told me all they could do is apply the discount on a future service if I book again. Why would I trust them again with my skin, face and my money when they admit they overcharged me but refuse to refund me? She said she would talk to the owner but then emailed me back the same thing that Id have to book another service again with them to get the discount I should have already had. HUH? Its laughable. I tried to call the manager Shay back to explain thats not fair and she doesnt return my calls or emails. Very poor customer service. Shay should not be a manager. She doesnt hold her office staff accountable or make things right with the customer when they make mistakes. They just want more of your money and dont care. Very sad.I would suggest either Rita at Shim Ching or Stacy with Scott Anderson office if you want a quality injector and excellent team/customer service for the same prices as this place. This office is cheap in bad area but they still charge a lot for poor quality. Dont make the mistake I made going here. (I only went initially bc they had a special, never again.)

My first time ever doing lip filler! I recieved one syringe of restylane lip filler from Lisa and Im obsessed. I asked to keep my natural shape and she did just that. She is amazing! The staff is friendly and the inside is very cute, clean and relaxing.

First Botox appointment and they did a great job at explaining everything and what I should expect after . Completely painless and love my results already

I was greeted on time by friendly staff. My Nurse Practitioner Lei was very knowledgable and answered all my questions. I was also given a quote prior to the service to ensure I was ok with the cost. I received Dysport injections which are usually painful and have me leaving the Drs office holding a gauze to stop the bleeding, but Lei’s technique was surprisingly painless with little to no evidence of the shots at all.I deal with TMJ and clenching of my jaw and wake up mornings with jaw pain and experience head aches all day, I can honestly say I have noticed that my head aches are gone and my teeth are not throbbing when I wake!Thank you Lei and the staff of Honolulu MedSpa for such an amazing experience I will definitely return and spread the word!

Alison was awesome! Very professional and friendly. There was a scheduling mix up but they resolved the problem so I was happy about that. All in all, I am really pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend this place!

I have been going to Honolulu MedSpa for over a year now and their staff is absolutely lovely!I get migraines and stress headaches so I decided to meet nurse Arlene for a consultation. I wanted to see if Botox would give me some relief.Not only did the Botox help my headaches, I also decided to treat the lines on my forehead and “11”s between my eyes and eventually the small crows feet that were starting at my eyes...I am so happy with the results I go back every three months religiously!Arlene recommended I start getting hydra facials so I made an appointment with Kanoe.Yesterday was my second facial and hydro jelly mask and I didn’t wanna leave! She listened to my needs and helped me decide on the best course of action, and even told me about a special going on which saved me $300! We were even able to do my Botox that day. I had my first appointment for an consultation which I had the pleasure of meeting Arlene and the wonderful staff! I made sure that I read the instructions on what to do when I arrive for my appointment.I arrived a little early and parked in one of the parking stall and called the number in the stall. Reiss who answered the phone was pleasant and told me to hang tight that someone will be outside to take my temperature. (I forgot her name but she was so friendly) escorted me into the clinic.I was then taken in right away into the exam room which I was greeted by Arlene and two other lovely ladies. I was impressed by how the office was set up during this pandemic. They are on it!Arlene made it really comfortable for me to express what my concerns about why I was here to see her for. She answered all of my questions and explained things to me where I could understand and for me not feel judged. I wanted to book my next appointment with them but the system was down at the moment and will call me to schedule one. Mahalo again Arlene!

Not much results for thread lift, NEVER buy anniversary special!! Very poor customer relationship.First, I have a lot of experiences with many medical Aesthetics including a lot kind of laser treatments, PRP micro needling, cool sculpting, pdo thread lift and laser lifting like Ulthera, therma cool, Scarlet.I had PDO barbed threads(12 mint lift) this time. 4 for each cheek and 2 for each jaw. Usually cost $2800. And I had smooth threads cost $500. Receipt on pictures.For mint lift, you can easily find a lot of pictures with significant instant results on the internet. For me,,, honestly nothing happens so far.**I don’t talk about LONG time expectation now. Just instant improvements mint lift supposed to make.Just judge yourself with picture before and after whether I had enough instant results or not worth for $3000. I feel totally waste of money compared to the price.Better to choose another place to have this kind of lifting.I was asking some questions to Nurse after I feel not satisfied with results. (receptionist told me she is the most experienced one.) She reply after several days and 2nd email I haven’t get reply yet for more than a week. May not get anymore. She said you put only 2 for jawlines. Actually upper cheeks had 4 each but haven’t remarkable improvement yet either.Seems this is the regular result of 12 mint thread at Honolulu Medapa.And,,,there is another issues. Poor customer communication.Reception is not quick response at all. Sometimes not responding for very long, either email and text. At the longest was no response 14 days after bought $500 voucher through online on Nov and tried to make an appointment. Voucher expiration is at the end of Dec but she said all slot was occupied with last mail. (Picture attached) Maybe too busy to sold too much anniversary deals and fully booked.Btw just “call us” to make appointment was the answer after 14 days. Lol.Actually it was after I went there and had treatment she even didn’t check.To be fair I need to talk about good point.The space is clean and have privacy, enough safety COVID protocols.When I had Botox it was really good. Nurse has good technique.But it last just 9 weeks. When I went back and talked to her it was after 12 weeks and she said I better to have another Botox.Ummm. $500 for every 2 months... I already purchased one more and need to go back.Usually like to I try at least twice at the same place cause sometimes we need to understand each other more. But with poor communication I won’t go back to there to have one more thread lift.I know every treatment and results depend on individual person and I’m just telling my experiences and my results and trying to write just what happened to me. Arlene is beyond amazing and professional! They also do military discount which helps a bit. I have gone somewhere else just because of happenstance but never again. If you want amazing results the first time, go to Honolulu Medspa and ask for Arlene!

Went in for laser hair removal after being sick and tired of dealing with ingrown hairs. I was pretty nervous but the friendly staff and peaceful ambience settled my nerves. Christina was also very assuring and answered all of my questions with ease and was able to make the entire process go quick without any mishaps.The process itself is, for the most part, painless, there are a few very rare moments where there is a bit of heat buildup, depending on the area, that can be uncomfortable but nothing that’ll make you want to quit.After about a week or so, I saw huge results. For only having only one treatment, I was surprised to not experience any ingrown hairs in the treated areas.I recently went in for a second treatment with Valerie who I also highly recommend. She was very assuring and easy to talk with during the process, which made the treatment seem like it only took 5 minutes.Overall, I am very glad to have chosen this place for my treatments and will be recommending it to anyone I can!

I went in for my first (with them) filler and Botox appointment and I can honestly say I will be back for more and other things as well!Nurse Charlene is who I saw, she made sure I was well informed with everything and was so so very gentle and kind to this needlephobe. I usually pass out or get close to it with injections of any kind but she did everything in her power to make sure that it didn’t happen, and well, it didn’t! The office is beautiful, all of the staff is kind and caring, you can’t get much better than this!I was surprised at how normal the pricing was for being on island, they deliver incredible results at a fair price, honestly you get more than what you pay for in experience alone.My lips look great, and I look forward to coming back and having them care for all of my skin’s needs!

This was the most ideal first experience anyone could ever hope for. I chose Honolulu MedSpa because the rates were the cheapest and the appointment times were the shortest. Not the safest reasons, but it was my first time considering Laser Hair Removal and I didnt even know what to care about. This MedSpa has such an excellent caliber with the professionalism of the receptionists, the cleanliness of the lobby and procedure room and the care of offering hot beverages. Then there was the actual hair removal process. PAINLESS. 100% PAINLESS. Kanoe was kind and patiently talked me through the process. I did not leave with any burns or injuries. I had a wonderful experience.

Nice place and friendly employees.Incorrectly diagnosed for procedures. A consultation was done with an assurance of being a candidate for cool sculpturing. The day of my procedure, the employee had a difficult time trying to place the sculptor on my thighs. I tried to angle or find ways to accomodate an easier way to keep the sculptor clap from slipping. The employee asked me if she could bring in another helper to assist and try to wrap the sculptor around my thigh. Unfortunately none could be helped in getting this procedure completed. I gave one star because I was so unhappy upon leaving. I was told they can do the procedures at my first consultation. I think their technology is great but this would not be for everyone. Everything was explained at the first interview and it was very assuring that finally I found a facility that could help my case. Technology today is so high tech, and if the owner could implement additional equipment for larger patients and help several people like myself, then a five star would be given. Someone told me this medspa is the best but for me is wasnt.

The laser hair removal was not as successful as I wouldve hoped for how much I paid for the recommended number of sessions. I am most disappointed in the service though. I dont feel that the technicians were honest with me about everything to expect from the start, and they werent willing to compensate me in the end. The turnover of technicians seems to be high, so you could get one who is training, therefore, your results could vary greatly, and they will not take responsibility for that. I wanted to like this spa, but unfortunately, I would NOT recommend it because its expensive with less than ideal customer service and results.

I love Honolulu MedSpa. I have received many treatments including PRP facial and laser facial rejuvenation. Everytime I love the result. My favorite treatment is the smooth eye. I have received three treatments so far and Sarah really takes good care of me. I have seen so much improvement in my eyes. My fine lines have greatly diminished and my dark circles are less noticeable. I look younger, more refreshed, and most importantly I feel more confident. Thank you Honolulu MedSpa!

I recommended this place to a friend of mine because I’ve had nothing but great experience to date. Unfortunately I’m sad to say their customer service has gone down hill. Before drafting this post I really wanted to give them a chance to make it right. I called to communicate a complaint on behalf of my friend and requested to speak with a manager. I was told Bridgette would give me a call by the end of the day. It’s been 3 days and I’ve not heard a peep.My girlfriend (gf) went in for a Brazilian laser treatment and was told to shave beforehand. Mind you when I had my first treatment I was told the same thing but the receptionist did not go into detail of how clean shaven you must be. So when I went I was told I didn’t clean it enough and the nurse mention they usually charge a shave fee but was nice enough to waive it because I mention the instructions were not clear. I even told the receptionist after my treatment that pretreatment instructions should be more thorough for newbies like myself. Fast forward same thing happen to my gf. Well her aesthetician, Kanoe told her she can’t get a full laser treatment because she wasn’t shaven enough. I told my gf that happen to me too but they can charge a fee to shave which she was more than willing to pay but with COVID they were no longer shaving their clients. My gf walked away with a partial treatment but charged for a full. She was upset and I too was upset for her. Treatments like this is not cheap so how is it right to charge someone a full treatment when you didn’t get a full treatment nor was it clearly explain properly before coming in to force it on the client to pay for that visit. Kanoe didn’t even offer her a disposable razer at the time to give her the opportunity to clean herself better. Instead she just told her she had to stop and let her on her way.It’s unfortunate because when you recommend a business you put your your credibility on the line. I have always had great service but it turns out they’re all with nurses who I’m told will no longer be treating laser service patients but rather aestheticians moving forward. I have one more treatment left and will not be coming back.I had hope that they would of provided the level of service you expect from a 4 star business. It shouldn’t take a bad review to get a response and sadly I do notice more negative reviews from this place in the past year. Hawaii is such a small island and bad reviews spread faster than good. I hope they take my post and work on training their staff better because at the end of the day customer service brings back repeat customers
