Honest ProfessionalsI will recommend this shop to everyone. They were friendly, took the time to address every concern I had, and diagnosed a hard to solve problem. Their prices are fair and they are honest and transparent about everything. When they couldn’t fix a problem that was Ford specific to the ECM they didn’t charge me and looked up the price of the part and order time and referred me to the dealer with all the information I needed. The hands down best customer service I’ve had from a mechanic shop ever.

Like the inevitable, my car didnt start one regular Monday morning and instead of a work day it became my cars emergency day. I only wanted to go to someone who would be honest about repairs, could take my car in right away, and charged reasonably. Called a few places, and read some reviews and decided to arrive at Artesian. They are indeed what they say and claim on their website and the reviewers are quite correct now that I have had a personal experience. They were nice to me, understood my situation, and got my car taken care of within a few hours - all within reasonable charges and great professionalism. I thank them very much for being available for me and would be going back to them going forward. I highly recommend them.

Let me start by saying that the typical experience at most auto shops is an absolute nightmare. For that reason, I have always dreaded getting any work done on my car. However, my experience at Artesian Auto Repair today was a breath of fresh air and the absolute best experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop.Kristie, who works the front desk, was polite, pleasant, and patient. The shop was flexible and fit me in on short notice. The work was quick and transparent. It cost what it was estimated to cost. Check in and check out was quick and seamless.These guys know what they are doing. I wont be going anywhere else from now on. Keep up the fantastic work.

Im a retired automotive design engineer. Owners Bobby and Kristie gave me a price $1000 less then the dealer to replace an ABS hydraulic unit and 4 break pads and disks. Had some small issue with a new pad which they addressed immediately without charge. While test driving they noticed a rattle from a tie-bar-end and took care of that too without charge. In Honolulu this is the first place I will always take my car for repair.

My car needed an oil change, alignment, and new tires. They were fast and charged me fair prices. I will be returning to Artesian for all my future car needs!

I had a great experience with them. They are very honest and reliable. I took my car to be checked before Christmas and they did a thorough check and they found nothing wrong. Unlike other places where they try to find something to charge you for it. Artisan guys did their best and didn’t even charge me a penny! That’s integrity 🙌

I tried to get a quote for my car they said I have to bring my car in so they can look at it and oh yeah its going to $70 for them to do that. I had my car looked at someplace but wanted to see what they would charge for the repair, the person I spoke to refused to give me a quote and said our mechanics are young and your car is too old for them to work on. This place is a joke, dont waste your time.

Excellent garage. My aging Infiniti that I dont want to part with had a failure on a throttle control that Artesian installed some time ago. The failure happened slightly out of warranty, but they honored the warranty any way and replaced it with parts and labor free. Plus they fixed a sticky window switch and cleaned my headlights, also gratis. This is a garage I trust. Thanks for keeping my car running.

I had the best customer service at Artesian Auto Repair. The owners and their staff are so friendly, trustworthy, and down to earth people. When I took my car in, they assessed it right away and I got an appointment the very next day. My struts where shot to the point I should not have even been driving it. I felt like I was riding a roller coaster when I was driving. While my car was being repaired I was able to wait in a comfortable waiting room equipped with air-conditioning, water, snacks, and great educational material on the tv. When my car was finished, it drove like a completely different car. No roller coaster feeling. It felt more like smooth gliding over the road. I was very happy! Though, later in that day I found some screws that were loose and I took my car directly back to Artesian and the owners Bobby and Chrissy were so nice about everything. They checked and found that indeed several screws were left lose. I really appreciated their honesty and they nicely admitted the mistake and said there quality check needed to be looked into. They tightened the screws and did an overall check and off I went. I trust Artesian Auto Repair and I will certainly be talking my car there for future oil services and regular maintenance. I highly recommend this wonderful business.

It is hard to find a business that is honest. When I bought tires from Artesian Auto Repair- they made sure that I got tires with current dates of manufacture. Today I had a flat tire and had to go to Lex Brody. After the installing of tire I looked at manufacturing date and the tire was two years old. They tried to tell me that it was alright. But this is not true. Tires are only good for 6 years after this date. Since I had to have a tire to drive away- I had to buy at Lex Brody. This is a great place. I have been impressed the two times theyve helped me. Both times someone dropped what they were doing to assess my car problem. Once I needed a repair and once they gave me advice and sent me away to fix it myself. They could have sold me on an expensive repair but helped me solve my own problem. Had my starter go out and needed a tow. So I called around and luckily I found these guys. Kristi answered the phone super nice gave me the number to a tow company. ( American Tow also great) Got my car in same day and were able to replace starter and battery. I will be going back for sure. Mahalo for the great service!

I went all over town trying to find specialty tires for my BMW. No one was able to help me. Scheduling an appointment through their site was easy and got an email confirmation from Kristie shortly after.Dropped the car off in the morning for a diagnostic check and oil change and picked it up in the afternoon with my quote for repairs.All totaled up to about $1,500 with parts and labor but was informed that nothing was too urgent and to fix just as soon as I could. They did not pressure me at all, but simply expressed the needs of the vehicle in order of priority to repair.Chris went over the quote with me, explaining all of their recommendations thoroughly. Everyone was courteous, professional, and friendly - 10/10 service, will return for repair work soon!

I equate going to an automotive mechanic like I would going to the dentist (no offense dentists out there), however, if there is a problem it needs to be taken care of. This is only the second time I have had confidence and full respect for a mechanics shop, from the great customer service to the the mechanics working on the vehicles...absolutely the best. Great people! Would recommend to everyone! I came in just to get see what the cost to be to fix my rear blend door actuator and a couple other things. I had brought in the car with the check engine light already on and they even checked out the codes for no extra charge and without me even needing to ask!! It was great to know what was wrong with my car (very expensive problem to fix though since the person who sold it to me was very dishonest). On the drive back home, I was unfortunate enough to have my tensioner lock up and it broke my timing belt and caused some damage on the way out. I was stuck not knowing what to do, and they came right over and got my car with no hesitation! It was fixed the next day (it was already the afternoon when my car broke) right around the time they said. Very nice and friendly owners! Great customer service. Honest and reliable! Very hard to find these days. Would recommend to everyone!!!!!

You can trust youre getting both a knowledgeable and honest assessment any time you need a professional mechanics input. They wont charge you unnecessarily and you can trust if something goes wrong or malfunctions, theyve got you covered. I can speak from experience. I ended up with a faulty part that controlled something with the ac--I forgot the name of the part. It was behind my dash on a Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. It kept making a funky sound. They tried resetting it twice. It didnt work, so I ended up needing to come in to get it replaced under warranty and Bobby made sure to compensate for the inconvenience to me when he didnt need to. Bobby is the real deal when it comes to trustworthy mechanics. He and Kristie are proud of their business and appreciate their customers!Note for parents: if you have children, they have a waiting room and lots of cute little toys and games for the kids to play with, snacks, coffee and a bathroom if needed. The room is small, but SO helpful when youre in a bind and need some work done and cant find childcare.I highly recommend Artesian Auto!

My Corolla had a broken interior door handle and by chance stopped over Artesian Auto Repair where Bobby and Christie welcomed and assured me that they could get it fixed up. Also said they could clean and polish the headlamps at the same time. Took my car in the day after and within an hour Bobby called to say it was all done and ready to pick-up. I needed my brakes checked. I looked at places and their reviews. This brought me to Artesian Auto Repair. Now I know why. The service is quick; got my pads and rotors replaced and my my brakes/foot brackes rechecked. Bob and Christy are a great team. The shop is nice and orderly, with a cozy guest room (coffee and TV) and the hospitality and service is excellent.

My 20 year old Rav4 had mushy brakes and needed new master cylinders. I needed to find a place that I could walk to and from. Found Artesian..What a Find!!!! They were very accommodating and helpful. Price was reasonable and the work was done on time. i am a very satisfied customer and will be from now on. I highly recommend them. I run a business myself, and believe me its hard to find such an honest and professional business these days....

My engine was making a clicking noise so I took it in for a diagnostic. Just from listening to my car they gave me free advice that the repair is going to cost more than the car is worth. Very friendly and honest. Highly recommend.

These are good peoples. My friend’s car’s hood latch wasn’t locking. They lubed it so it could kind off work, but recommend I get it replaced. Unable to contact my friend who is overseas at the time. Told the folks at Artesian I’d just need to take it home for now. They told me no worries and didn’t charge me for anything. Will definitely be heading back to Artesian Auto Repair for any future auto repairs.

I cannot say enough good things about Artesian Auto Repair. Honest, fair and quality work. They do not try to nickle and dime you, they are honest with you about everything, very easy to talk to and just really nice people. I had a major repair (replacing a driveshaft) and they worked with me to call around to multiple places to find the best price on the part that I needed. I did not expect them to take time out of their day to find the absolute best deal for me but they were more than willing to go above and beyond and they did the work quickly once we did find the part. Reset my SAS on my BMW 325i for free! Called everywhere from Wahiawa to Honolulu, everyone wanted $130 ++. They did it as a courtesy. Absolutely recommend this place if you need any work done on your car, definitely if you trying to find a honest mechanic for you BMW!

Wow! Kristy (sorry if I misspelled your name) and the staff are amazing! Bob (sorry if I misheard or misspelled your name) explained what was going on in my car, and they charged me NOTHING because they wanna check first if my check engine light pops up again. They said there were several issues that popped up, and the trans control unit might be acting up, but they cleared it all and drove my car around, scanned the car again, and it was running well. Nothing popped up after. They told me to drive the car around for a few days and see if the engine light lights up again, and if it does, they told me to call them so they can help me set up an appt with a Nissan dealership (because Kristy calls them up a lot for OEM parts and stuff) coz in the long run, my cars computer system might fail. Nissan might have to update my car software and stuff. I bet they could explain to Nissan better than I could with whats wrong with my car too. Its actually good advice. :)I will DeFINiTELY come back to Artesian Auto Repair again for car issues! They have the SPIRIT OF ALOHA especially at this time and age! THANK YOU SO MUCH! (Im so sorry the Hokulani cupcakes melted; Ill bring a gift certificate next time. Maybe I shouldve done that instead 😅)Edit: my cars engine light lit again on the same day (which Bobby mentiioned if it did, call them). Buyer beware! I do not and cannot recommend this company! First of all the man who claims to be co owner has a bad temper and hung the phone up on me when I questioned him about his conflicting statements. He tried to say there was an additional and separate problem from the water pump issue that would cost me extra 500.00. He claims he needed to do this extra work a hunch about a steering bearing saying they would need to start the work in order to fully determine what the problem was in fact. When I questioned him he then changed his statement about the bearing saying his mechanic said it was for sure a bearing issue. It seemed as if he changed his statement once I question the conflicting statement. When I tried to explain that I was unable to pay a extra 500.00 and tried to get him to agree to do just the minimal to get me on the road he hung up on me. I called him back and he accused me of accusing him, at which point I asked to speak with his wife who was the first person I spoke with about my van. He then sarcastically offered to bring every employee to speak with me instead and then angrily ordered me to come get the van immediately. I had to take off work right on the spot to comply and when I arrived at the shop (AFTER SPEAKING BRIEFLY WITH HIS WIFE), he threatened me and tried to pick a fight with me right there at the shop! His poor wife had to push him back and I almost called the police. The only reason I did not call HPD was the lady had begged me not to do anything and I felt compassion for her. My take away from this was very bad place to do business! That guy was just the epitome of the kind of mechanic that people (especially a woman), should avoid. And youd better know other mechanics who can give you a second opinion about the problems with your car otherwise I worry that these guys are going to find a way to get extra cash from you!You added a profile phot

Great customer service and quick reliable auto work

2nd time I took my truck to AAR. Called Krissy and Bobby at AAR, my trucks Check Engine lite came on again. They found the misfire in one of the cylinders, it was still under warranty plus I had them hook up an oil change as well. Artesian Auto Repair is the place I take my truck from now on!
