Got a new battery for my motorcycle from Battery Bills, then walked a few feet to Montgomery Powersports. I was just checking it out when I remembered that my Suzuki bike needed a filter breather in its airbox.The guy at the service counter politely suggested that I go to the parts counter. The parts guy, Dave, was very nice and ordered the part for me because it wasnt in stock. I asked a few questions regarding maintaining an old bike and got helpful answers.I noticed that their service department labor cost is $120/hr, up from $80/hr three years ago. Lots of nice bikes in there! They sell Suzuki, Indian, Polaris and a few Victory motorcycles.

Firstly, I am in Canada. I reached out to Montgomery Powersports in hopes of getting an old invoice for a collectors bike I was buying from someone local to me, who bought it from this Hawaii dealer new in 2010.Noah, the manager that I was referred to, was very polite and wasted no time searching through old records for me (which most dealers wouldve probably disposed of after that many years). He couldnt find it right away but told me hed email me if he came across something. After providing some additional info, a dozen minutes later I receive the email with the old invoice from 2010 I needed, thus adding to the collectivity value of the bike I was buying.Most of the reviews here are great and it was easy to see it is for good reason! A big thank you to Noah and a massive thumbs up to Montgomery Powersports.
The service at this place is phenomenal. I parked my bike and walked in and was greeted instantly. I wanted to get a safety check and the president and owner was the person who asked me what I needed AND he did the check himself. All of my questions were addressed and even a couple I hadnt thought to ask. Going back this weekend for service and will definitely be a returning customer.

Has pretty much been my go to dealer however recently feel like I have been getting ripped off when I am in need of smaller services. I had a flat on my grom recently, I was quoted like $150 for repair, it was a clean puncture thru the bottom of the wheel, I had already off the bike (didnt need to go on off) and I said I could leave it there for couple days if need, and they can get around to it whenever. Needed chain tightened on grom as well $75-$95, for something that has no shop cost and could easily be done in a few min. I know I should do these things myself but its difficult for me. Next bike will be electric wont have so many issues. Not a ton of stuff in the immediate area if waiting for service. Staff is friendly however and they have a fair selection of stuff.
I have a new BMW motorcycle under warranty and Id rather take it to these guys. Much better service

Honestly, I should have done a review back when they were named Montgomery Motors and located on a side street. They did great work back then and Im pleased to say that same quality hasnt been diluted even though theyve grown in size and scale.The service department is very professional and knowledgeable, the parts department is very helpful, and the owner is goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of.In one instance, I had them install tires on my little V Star that, despite being around for decades, is hard to find tires for. I dropped off my bike and came back after grabbing a bite next door at Liliha Bakery. Since my bike wasnt ready yet and the customer lounge was closed due to Covid, I found something serviceable to sit on while I waited. After a few moments, the owner came out with an actual chair and offered it to me.Definitely didnt have to do that, but that is the kind of customer service that many riders will attest to when they visit this place.Highly recommend 👍

Great customer service here from Stanford the owner and everyone was so friendly! None of the extra stuff was done except exactly what was needed and I was in and out and on my way very quickly and happy!! Even got a flat head when I needed it and a great tour from one of the sales associates showing me what they had in a totally no pressure to buy experience. Will return here from now on. If I ever need another bike then they will be my first choice.

Yet another year for my bike to get a safety check. Tried other places before and they take too long, drop appointments, and very unprofessional. Here at Montgomery PowerSports, I walked in and was received in 5 minutes. There was an appointment before me, but it only took 10 minutes. Rolled my bike in and rolled it out in 10 minutes. This place is the best!

Took me out on a Springfield test ride knowing I was from the mainland and wasnt buying, but allowed me to ride an Indian in Hawaii when all I could rent were Harleys. jumping Indian to Harley to Indian to Harley and back to my Indian on the mainland.. Ill always want an Indian. I hope to visit these great people again in the future!

Hands down the best service department on island! Every time my bike has had an issue, the service department team has come in clutch. Jonah, Inike, Russell, basically the entire staff there were extremely flexible/patient and even stayed after closing hours a few times when I was running late to pick up my bike!

Compared prices to several other motorcycle dealerships and this one is consistently cheaper. Had my bike serviced there once and they had professional quality service. Sometimes its nice to have the local feeling but when my bike and safety is concerned professionalism is the best.
Theyre customer service is pretty good. The guys here have a better attitude than some of the other places on island. I think thats a result of a shop thats been around for a while.They were very accommodating with their safety check, being that they tried to get you in as best they can.Being on island, you have to take many things into consideration when it comes to in-stock items, variety, and most importantly, price. Unfortunately with price, you will be paying a premium here, and they know it. No price matching, no military discounts on tires, and youre looking to pay much more than normal MSRP. Like I said, you have to take things like shipping into consideration, BUT companies like Amazon make it so easy now.All in all, they get my business for my motorcycle needs while Im here, but its a relationship based mostly on necessity. Their friendly attitude and atmosphere make it worth to check out.
The staff that helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and assisted to the department I was interested in checking out. At the time I was looking at getting back into riding, so I was looking at the new bikes as well as some of the pre-owned ones. Dave, the salesman that was helping me, took the time to learn about my past riding experience and what I was looking to get out of my next bike. He then explained the different models available, both good and bad. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything. After getting a bike, I needed new gear since the last time I rode was about 5 years ago. Kim in the parts department helped me find a helmet that fit well and showed me some other accessories that I was interested in too. Overall, the assistance and selection makes this a good place to take care of my motorcycle needs locally.
Good service! Been here many times. Although, the office hours are not updated on here. They are closed on mondays and do not state their office hours on their answering machine when you call them so I only found out when I drove all the way there.
I dropped my Victory Gunner for oil Change Front Fork seal replacement and removal of my gas tank and fenders for painting. These guys are quick and easy to work with. Im a very satisfied customer
Service dept friendly and patient. For a retired senior citizen and veteran, labor and parts was kinda steep, but only time will tell whether the job was well done. I love my Burgman.

The staff in the service department are courteous, professional, fast. They dont invent stuff on your inspection just to make a buck like other places on the island do. I would let them work on my bike anytime with confidence that it will get fixed fast, right, and that they are not trying to take advantage of me. By far the best bike shop on Oahu!
Once i walked inside i noticed a very clean showroom. After looking at a few bikes i was greeted by a sales associate named Noah. He spoke to me about my interests and even educated me on products that i had no idea about. He never attempted to push me towards anything i didn’t want. Once I’m ready to buy my motorcycle he made it easy to know this and he will be the only sales associate that i deal with from here on out.

If you need motorcycle work done this is the place to go. All the accessories you need for your ATV, dirt bike, or motorcycle. They also have a good selection of riding gear and novelties. Service department is slow. They have a great crew and it just seems to be over worked and under staffed. Prices are reasonable and staff is always freindly.They have plenty of parking and are close to some great shops. Customer parking is in the front. They also do safety inspections for motorcycles, but only 3p.m. on weekdays and 2p.m. on Saturday.Check them out.
Think twice before bringing your bike to get worked on here. Its a shame were in the middle of the Pacific and dont have many options. $450 later and my bike is no better off then when I dropped it off. They failed to find a simple oil leak. Youre better off getting a mechanics number from a friend.
Stopped by a couple of weeks ago with my wife and checked out the motorcycles. Only dealer on the Island with new Indians, which are pretty awesome. The sales staff is what you can expect, not very pushy but do reccomend buying today because the inventory can change. Overall helpful and knowledgeable staff. We are still debating which bike to get as a new one, if we decide to go with the Indian we will be back. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the floor size and brands of bikes available. If they had a larger selection/showroom it would be fantastic.

They are good folks. They try to solve problems as best that they can and usually keep you informed of whats what. Service is usually quick and parts dept is usually helpful. Sales guys are non pushy. Good place.

The place I used to take my bike closed after all these years. So I had to look for another place to service my Harley . I heard good things about Montgomery PowerSports so I decided to have a go. Been over a month since I had my roadking all serviced by them. Rides like new,sounds like new,feels quick. Great looking shop, they have most of what youd expect. I didnt get service done to my bike there so I dont know how to rate that process, but I got a safety check. They were fast and easy, didnt try to b.s. me or anything. Not the most personable bunch but honestly, nobody here is too personable when it comes to work or customer service, its something you get used to. But I wont rag on these guys cause it seems like a reputable business and Id trust my bike with them.

Ive done business with them over the years. They used to take care of your bike. Now they are looking to scrape you for whatever money they can. And it seems that they set you up for failure instead of taking care of you as a customer.
I made an appointment to service my bike, I was told that I can drop off the bike any time and leave it over night. I called twice once to reschedule and both times I was told just to drop the bike off, when I arrived with the bike they said that they don’t have room to keep my bike overnight and I need to reschedule. This place is a joke. I waisted half my day to drop the bike off since I live west side. Service center customer service has no service. I can’t recommend this place. Very unprofessional. Won’t be back there. It was a waist of time.

I used to turn to Montgomery for all my cycle needs, back when they were still on Iwilei. They took care of my bike and earned my trust. Issue #1: About a year ago I needed my brakes worked on and had to order some parts, but since it was Ducati I was told it would take longer to arrive, about a few weeks. So I patiently waited and called when those few weeks were up. Turns out they never ordered the part so I had to wait an additional few weeks to finally get my bike fixed. Issue #2: Fast forward to last week and what prompted me to write this review. I came back from a 6 month deployment to find my bike leaking oil. I take it down to Montgomery and they first say it will take a week before they can get to it because they are short on mechanics. No problem I say, Ill wait. They go outside to take a quick look and said theres bad news, the engine is leaking in multiple places and thats something they dont fix because something wrong internally with the engine. I ask what my options are, and the guy tells me to contact Ducati. At this point, I leave Montgomery with seemingly few options, thinking this will be very expensive to fix and given its age might not be worth it, if anyone can even fix it at all on island. I decide to get a second opinion at Cycle City, they were very friendly and took it in but said it could be a few days before they get to it. They ended up calling me that same day I dropped it off, and told me that the oil filter was the wrong one, the filter that was installed by Montgomery, causing some of the leaking. They would work on it and it could be a few days before they finish. Turns out, they finished the very next day, I drove off and my bike is riding great again! So in summary, Montgomery did not fix my bike properly on my previous oil change by putting on the wrong filter, I brought it back to them to just take a look to find out what was wrong, but they refused. They refused to attempt to diagnose a problem that they were ultimately responsible for. The fact that Montgomery wouldnt even look at it, while another shop not only took it in, but fixed it and turned it around in 2 days is why I will never go back to Montgomery, I just cant trust them anymore.

Sales is good, parts dept is good. Service dept is hit or miss, depending on who you talk to. Ranging from rude and unhelpful to cheerful and wanting to help solve your problems.

I love Montgomery motors but after dealing with service department to get the first service on my scout done I cant go back. Originally I was quoted 350.00 ended up over 400.00. When I looked over what was done since it was a hour shorter then expected I noticed I was charged the full 2.5 hours for labor when it didnt take that long, I was informed it was flat rated for the initial service. If their labor wasnt 115.00 an hour it would be better. One of the cashiers went to ring me up and I brought the issue up and even she was like thats weird. Upon asking a service department person informed me its flat rate for the labor no matter how quick they get done. Ive had great experiences with this dealership up until now but after this Ill have to find a new place to get reasonable service. Im still gonna go here because of the other department treating me right but 402.00 for a oil change and inspection is outrageous.
