Recently i had my Homelite chainsaw serviced at West Hollywood. The problem was that it had been stored away in my garage for too long (+10 years) without the proper care. West Hollywood was able to restore it to full functionality. When i picked it up, Jeff, who used to have his own repair shop, took the time to explain what was done to the machine and tips on how to maintain/store it correctly. I also had the chance to meet the owners, Patty and Joe, a very nice couple with whom a had good chats. On a follow up stop to check on the progress, Joe, who was also working on my machine, outlined the steps they were taking to try to fix the chainsaw. i also had the chance to meet Jamar, who covers the front office along with Anthony. Jamar was always available to check on the status during my phone calls or visits. My experience with West Hollywood was excellent. They were very honest, professional with great sense of customer service. No doubt i will be back to service other machines. Thanks and Keep It Up West Hollywood Mowers!!
Super fast service! They were able to repair my mower in 2 days. They also took their time explaining how to keep the engine crud free to minimize future repairs. Friendly and knowledgeable.
No WAY do not use this placeTook my lawnmower tires in to be repaired,told me it would cost $35 then he charged me $135 and it took him 3 days to fix and now flat again, dont go there its better to just buy a new one.
A good place to get information about your lawn mowers and getting a service as well as your pressure washer and generators they are mostly up front on the wait time of getting it done and very honest on what you should do with your equipment and they will give you the best recommendation to another place that they dont have your part or anything else you need.... I never go by reviews too much I would like to experience in myself because the negative reviews for this place is definitely incorrect.. Im glad i stopped there ...they was very helpful 👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Anthony was very polite and patient with me. I just came in with a simple lawn blade. He took the time to look up and research it. He kindly ordered it for me. And I will definitely come back for service. Thank you!

This guy close down his business its just an empty building the guy down the street is still in business very friendly very helpful just a few blocks past McFatter high School on the south side of Hollywood boulevard in the shopping center next to the Mobil gas station
My husband came here to have our lawn mower serviced, simple fix. These redneck bigots wouldnt address him in a polite manner nor even offer their service. They basically ran him out of the store without even caring about what he needed fixed. This is not the type of business that deserves patronage. Holding a 3 star rating..go figure.
Extremely un-professional. I will drive 10 miles out of the way to never deal with West Hollywood Motors.I brought my mower to them April 16, 2018. The pull string was broken and the self-powered wheels did not work. On April 23, 2018 I called and they said it would be finished on April 25. I arrived to pick up the mower on April 30 at 10:30 am and they say its not ready. They stated the mechanic worked on it April 27 and could not finish due to not having the drive belt for the self-powered wheels, it needed to be ordered. I tell them I am taking it anyway and they mysteriously find a new belt on the wall behind the cash register. Then they say they didnt know the drive assembly needed fixed. I asked for the work order, of which it stated Fix drive assembly. Nothing but excuses. I wouldnt have minded if they simply said, we made a mistake. But I received nothing but attitude and excuses. I will never give them my business again. The New Owner cares nothing about customer service.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. A1-Mower on Stirling has much better service.
Since the shop has been under new management and I can seriously say it is an improvement. The store and shop work area are cleaner and the service is friendlier. Yes, the price has gone up a bit on certain services, but I can honestly say I am confident of their service. The only reason I havent given them a five is because the store lobby has no A/C, parking is difficult, and they dont carry a wide variety of brands. They are a STIHL dealer through and through.
I brought in my 10yr (at least) Honda motor for a tune up & general go-thru.I have no time to BS, so when I say I was more than happy with their work that is for real.I consider the money spent in their shop a investment, and I am thrilled with the result.The motor fires right up and hums. This motor powers a air compressor for divers, so its very important it works. I am now confident in it.I recommend this shop, and they will get any other work I need.Matt Petruschke

Just took my mower to have blades sharpened and the guys were awesome! Helped get it out of the car and serviced/cleaned my lawnmower while I waited. Can’t wait till lawn day!!! :)

I thought the place was nice at first, until I brought my lawn mower in to get the belt changed. I havent seen my mower since. It has been maybe one and a half to two months now. I went by about three weeks ago, they have one more mechanic and they said they were starting to catch up on work. I was hoping that, that meant I was getting a call soon but nothing so far. Good thing I went and bought a new lawn mower for my business. They said it is the busy season, but I think that keeping a persons mower for this long is not a good thing.
WOW..Reading all these poor reviews about West Hollywood Mowers confirms my visit during the week before Hurricane IRMA.Waited in Line behind 10+ people for a small silly air filter of which I never received..The patrons waiting to approach the counter were all trying to prepare for the arriving hurricane and were all talking amongst themselves.The Time Elapsed was nearing 1 hour and the counter help Would-Not communicate with the customers lined-up in the center of that filthy smelly dirty establishment.Some Customers turned and walked away, others were waiting for generators to be picked up from repair.Whom ever owns this dump needs to seriously Re-Think, Re-Train and Re-Structure the Staff.This Place is a Horrid Excuse for a BusinessGo Elsewhere and save yourself headaches and wasted time

Best customer service and most knowledgeable. No high pressure sales tactics. A bit spendy compared to big box stores but you wont be replacing it every five years so in the long run a better value, saving money. Also you wont need a trailer since they deliver. Zero radius mower was delivered to our house accompanied by an unhurried and thorough demonstration, time for us to try it out and some very helpful maintenance tips. Cannot recommend this establishment enough. Only downside is my wife and I fight over who gets to mow the lawn with our new Bad Boy!
You tell them that exactly what is broken and they tell you theyre going to open it up. And charge you $80.I never opened it up they just took my $80.Should have called the cops but I was really lit up

This is the worst business ever! They took forever to pick up my generator. After that $150 for pick and delivery in JUNE 2018. I called several times took 4 months for them to call with a price to work on my generator. I gave them the ok and they never called me back. It’s now November I had to called them cuss the owner out because he doesn’t believe I shouldn’t pay. He threaten to take all the parts out and delivery machine back to me if I didn’t pay. After a lot of cussing on my part I agreed to pay. Now let’s see how this delivery goes! I will be issuing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is so bad he could have at least offer half off or some sympathy for a job that took 6 months.Part 2 in response to the onwer:I should not use that type of language period. Being a women has nothing to do with it. This is the 21st century women can vote, Enlist, work oh yeah and cuss a individual out for bad service. September 8th I’m telling you I was not contacted in regards to when can the generator be dropped off. Your word against mine I guess. The fact is it took 6 months for one machine. I snapped after talking calmly and saying I don’t think I should pay for this. Your reaction of “oh that’s not going to happen I will take the parts out and deliver it back to you” escalated the situation. Never Again!I myself patronized West Hollywood Mowers.Matter of fact i tried using them twice.I had (2) negative experiences on both occasion and will-NEVER go back to that toilet again.On my second visit, the owner / manager was sitting at the countertop drinking a bottle of beer and telling jokes, mumbling some nonesense about torturing people by using Ice Cubes beneath peoples arm pits.I declined their quote to repair my stick edger and quickly exited the building and never returned back.Name & Address withheld
Absolutely stellar sales and service. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. the fixed my Stihl power pruner in about 24 hours --the other mower shop needed two weeks!

Careful. Ive been hearing a Load of bad news about this place.I too have visited this place when I used to reside nearby.If you are in Greater Hollywood area, I recall many small Mom & Pop lawn equipment repair shops UP & DOWN 441.I personally would never go back to west hollywood mowersI think they are a bunch of un-qualified poor business practice Losers.
Our Staff will never use this West Hollywood Mowers again.The place is Unprofessional, and lack people and business skills.We picked Up Our Lawn Equipment and Went Elsewhere For Repairs.The employees are obviously Un-Trained to repair small engines-lawn eqipment.Weve also found this company to be Practice Shady Billing Habits and Horridly Over Priced
I have worked with Jeff and Jenn for years and the crew at West Hollywood Mowers is running their shop at top quality in every way. They are the complete opposite of those typical slow, expensive and uncaring mower shops that have been in business for decades.
Stay Away !This place is a joke! They say one thing one minute and then the next its another thing. Ive never experienced anything so horrible.

Took my weedeater in on September 27th and understood being right after the hurricane it might be a little delay. Well just get a call today December 12th saying its ready after being told a month ago the carburator was there by Anthony. I had called a few times after being told it was on back order. I had gone on Husqvarna website and spoke to them in October and it was in stock, I also googled and they are all over the place for 10-20$, I paid a 30$ deposit and now being told its 132$ for the repair. I would not recommend anyone to use them, I was mislead by them and that just seems pretty damn high to replace a carburator after waiting almost 3 months. Very Dissatisfied Customer here. I guess the price is for 3 months of labor and storage.......R. Simmons
Took 6 weeks to get mower back. 200 dollar charge on a 300 dollar mower. Never again.

Very bad experience with this company. I brought a 700 dollars toro commercial lawn mower it lasted two weeks of actuall use before it gave me trouble tried to get a new one and they wouldnt. They have very bad customer service and everything thing and act so racist towards blacks. I had two problems with the lawn mower. Supposedly they suppose to fixed it twice and still not working. After trying to cut my front yard same problem occured. Would not give me a brand new lawn mower neither my money. Why do I have suffer with a bull crap lawnmower. They really dont care about their customers and i spent thousands with them.
