Wow. Firstly, the service was excellent. Our server was friendly and accommodating and the chef was the same.The coffee was bold and creamy, I loved it!And to top it off, the sushi was up there with the best sushi I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot of sushi. I didn’t expect this at a place that has sushi amongst a variety of other foods.I wish I lived near by so I could come here more often but I will definitely make it a part of future trips in this area.I highly recommend it here! It was the perfect cap to end my trip

Well, I would give this one stars, because I paid without receiving my meal after ordering and left. I was looking forward to eating at Yum Berry Cafe & Sushi Bar.I was waiting for over an hour for my food. Having come down to Florida, coming from a cold climate, it is enjoyable to sit outside. The outdoor tables are acceptable by the manager for smoking without any notice. I was criticized for asking someone not to smoke or move away from the situated tables in a polite manner. I am not going to go to a restaurant without a designated smoking area and wait for a meal, where I was not being served and others were. The manager was uncaring. After paying, my receipt was crumbled-up by the server to be thrown away. I had to get the receipt crumbled from her. A gratuity was added when food was not delivered thanks to Florida. I do not know what else to say.

Great family experience. Kid friendly. Large portions. And large a roomy space. Food was fresh and flavorful.

Nice restaurant, really nice service, food a bit old style but overall reasonable and delicious. Just a pity not to fry the avocado eggroll these bake it in the oven. Their drinking is nice. All in all we will be back again

Good food for a quick meal. We drove there for sushi and they told us that they could not make any since they were backed up in orders. I would suggest getting more help when you know you will be busy. I would take the food to go next time and not dine in.

Wow. This is one of the best places to eat in the whole area. The ingredients are very fresh and really high quality. The food is delicious, clearly made with care. I have never had a disappointing meal from Yum Berry. I especially like the sushi and the sandwiches. Also the waiting times are short.EDIT: I lowered the score because the service is consistently awful. Go there for good food served by grumpy women.

18% tip included….(2 people) Added tilapia to a Cesar salad was an additional $9.99. The most annoying part was the fact that my husbands pasta came out several minutes before my salad. It was clean, the food was ok but for $50 for lunch we will not be returning. Also we usually tip at least 20% but since we weren’t told about the 18% already added we didn’t add any extra.

Definitely the best part is the service, the wait staff are very nice and helpful. The food is pretty good and big portions.

BUYER BEWARE: As if the prices werent overpriced to begin with (ten bucks for a milkshake thats chocolate milk with whip cream on top) an automatic gratuity is added to the bill. This is not legal in Florida unless mentioned on, menu, which it is not.

Very expensive! 8 dollars for a frozen coffee and it took them almost 15 minutes to start preparing it. Also the owner is always in a bad mood! Hated the place

Love this place, I go there often. The Eat in the best experience. The take out portions are smaller (hence the 4 stars). Sushi and pizza are great. The lemonnana is in the top 5 in Miami.

Poke bowl was the best I had in South Florida. Fresh, Clean and the waitress was super nice. Prices are very fair. If you like Sushi this is the place to eat at.

This has been a favorite for some time. The sushi is excellent. Fresh and tasty. Have also tried many of the salads. Tonight it will be the mushroom, spinach fettuccine for me while my husband will have an avocado roll and an eggplant panini. Some soft ice cream will top off the meal.

Wish i could give zero stars. the food was disgusting. i got Alfredo pasta but the sauce was like water and had no taste. the pasta was over cooked and so squishy. not once did i get a refill or even ask if we were ok. i had to get up and call the waitress when i was ready to pay. will not be going back and i suggest everyone stays away

The worst service ever ! They clearly don’t have enough people and the staff (all but one) is terrible. We stood at the counter forever being looked at but never asked to take our order until one girl, the darker skinned one, asked us what we wanted finally. Everyone else especially the real skinny light skin girl was so nasty ! Won’t be coming back

I got a Tuna Avocado roll and a baked Ziti was very decent. My wife got a Caprice panini and really enjoyed.The highlight was the frozen yogurt!

CAREFUL!!- an automatic “tip” is added to every check automatically - this is illegal in the state of Florida. By law it has to be a “service charge” and displayed on the menu and labeled as such on the receipt. This place does not inform you of that on the menu and when you ask for an itemized bill (you will have to ask) it is labeled as a TIP. The food was good. My server was excellent but the lady I talked to at checkout was blunt and direct - not friendly at all. I will not be returning.

I ordered Eggplant Parmegiane over ziti. The eggplant was not breaded. It is basically grilled eggplant(oily). Ziti was good, but a little soft..I prefer al dente. Food tasted good just not what I was expecting for eggplant parmigiane.

This cafe is beyond amazing!!! I’m a very picky eater and I was so happy with everything! Big portions, so much yummy flavors! Our waiter, Bautista, was sooo nice and accommodating! Prices are very reasonable!I highly recommend yum berry! I’m totally coming back!

No regular coffee here which is weird for a place that has serves breakfast...Great frozen yogurt though.

This place made me go insane We ordered french fries for my son he later decided he would like cheese fries the lady said she would get cheese for him we’ve been waiting 20 minutes no cheese I get up and ask the chef he completely ignores me the waitress said she had already put in the order for the cheese the chef done says sorry we don’t sell melted cheese OK no problem they took the fries off the bill then I’m about to eat what do I find a hair the waitress comes to me and says that’s not a hair or you’re exaggerating the hair was in my hand it was a silver hair the chef has salt and pepper hair and they never make him wear a hairnet this place is so incredibly disgusting this is probably the fifth time that I have found a hair in my food the only reason I continue to come back is because I feel sorry for the owners and because I know them personally fire your chef or I will never be returning and neither will a lot of your customers I can honestly see why the restaurant is always dead with no one inside

Foods decent at best

I never knew they existed. As many times that Ive come up here to this shopping center, Ive never seen this place. A friend of mine introduced me to it. It was very nice. I enjoyed the variety of the menu. I will be back.

Walked in on a Saturday night. I was the only person in the entire restaurant, but no one greeted or helped me after standing at the counter for about 5 minutes, while there were 3 ladies behind the counter and the sushi chef. I asked if someone could help me or take my order, the sushi chef responded extremely rudely.

The margherita pizza is actually a frozen cheese pizza when I pointed that out to the owner he told me there was no such thing as a cheese pizza. This place should probably take Pizza off their menu.

Called to place an order for pizza and 45 minutes later they call me to say they don’t have that size. Had to then wait for them to make new pizzas. I was also getting attitude when complaining about that. Terrible customer service.

Yum Berry Cafe & Sushi Bar is my favorite spot for some cheap, solid sushi. I was happy to see the same menu as the old restaurant with the addition of fairly typical Japanese appetizers and entrees. They did a pretty good number with the remodel which is good because I think most people were turned off by how the old restaurant looked like the fish section at a supermarket.

The mushroom soup good flavor but was too salty...

I ordered a quinoa salad and it was disgusting quinoa was raw and they added mushrooms and cabbage which was dry and below par. I also ordered an avocado sandwich which was soggy and very dissed tasteful my experience with this restaurant was very upsetting I will never order from here again

Best kosher food in south Florida

Good kosher food, big portions. I was able to take half of my food home for another meal. The atmosphere is comfortable and you can actually have a conversation without lots of noise.

Great spot with nice variety and friendly service. My only complaint is that they automatically add an 18% tip on you bill (even self serve ice cream) when its not a fancy eatery and can do without the table service and without the tip.

This is a very good kosher restaurant. It has a lot of options on its menu and everything is kosher of course. This restaurant is near several of our kosher villas in Hollywood Florida. You will most likely have a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant

I cant speak for ther other food items but their sushi is really awful. The rice tastes days old and overall the freshness and flavor is not there. Publix has been sushi rolls to grab and go. Wish we enjoyed it more.

My favorite spot for a healthy and hearty salad. Fresh and crisp greens topped with different protein options and a choice of homemade dressing makes for a nutritious and filling lunch. My kids love the pizza and sushi! All around family friendly place with lots of menu choices to satisfy even my pickiest eater. And lets not forget creamy soft serve ice cream bar for dessert. Geneorus portions. Fairly priced. Friendly staff and excellent service. We love Yum Berry!

Food was delicious but waiting was long

Excellent dinner. Ordered 3 different pastas, soup, paninis, pizza, shakes and yogurt. The whole family enjoyed the meal and we cleaned our plates. Portions are good size and food delivered quickly. Service was excellent. Hope everyone enjoys like us.

I have eaten here before with superior experience and have written complimentary review and recommended to many. I can say without hesitation that had this been the first time I had gone there it would have been the last. It was so bad I am not yet sure I will ever return. The waitress literally argued with our friends over sharing a meal. My wife and I ordered the same sushi tuna salad which was did not come and was not started until after our friends were served and we asked where our meal was. They were then prepared so slowly and sequentially so that mine did not arrive until all others were finished eating. I declined it. They were not even busy. The bean soup I ordered did not come until I ordered it a second time. The check was not split as requested. There was no accommodation or contrition. Indeed their only insistence was I should take my meal to go. It was as unpleasant, indifferent and appalling a restaurant experience as I have had in a very long time.

Yum Berry is a good spot for kosher vegetarian and milk food. Really good sushi, good soups, but higher priced. Skip the cappuccino and lattes, not worth the price. The paninis are very good on ciobotta bread in a request customer.

We stopped in for a sandwich because the window advertised paninis. We were surprised by an extensive menu which included sushi and pizza. The sandwiches were large and delicious and included a side order, too. An added bonus for some might be that this was a Kosher establishment. The staff were courteous and helpful. We were so full we couldnt experience the yogurt. Next time Im in the area Ill be back.

Can’t speak for everything, but fish and chips had filled me with a sense of existential dread, the sushi kept falling apart and is abundant with cheap ingredients like imitation crab. In the bright side, the dining and the restrooms are clean, and they were upfront about the imitation crab and wait times.

Yum Berry is an amazing place for more reasons than 1. My wife and I absolutely love eating here with the family because its completely family friendly and way more comfortable than other kosher restaurants. The food is always superb in both presentation and taste. The yogurt is just a nice add-on and a great treat for the kids if they behave. Ultimately its fun, comfortable, and of course satisfying. We absolutely love this place and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for good pizza, wraps, salads, soups, toasts, fish, frozen yogurt, and im sure the things I havent tried yet are great too.

Pretty good food but the service is terrible. We had to go up to get my sisters sushi, then ask multiple times for sauces, then we had to get up and get chopsticks. Our waitress sat in the back eating. We waited about ten minutes to get our check after we were given our to-go containers until we had enough and my brother got up to go get our check. They then had the audacity to put an 18% gratuity on the check. Not a great experience.
