Very nice place, great coffee and food

The most amazing espresso I’ve ever tasted!! Plus the atmosphere and customer service deserves the highest praise! The food as well, was extremely delicious and well priced. Considering I came here on vacation hopes of finding the best coffees, this place ranks highest on my stops!

Lovely place. Attentive, quick service. My iced latte was delicious, smooth, strong without being bitter. Pleasant chill quiet atmosphere. Lots of neat local products. Our table had a cute little book you could draw in and it was cool to browse the previous patron’s contributions.

Excellent coffee shop. Employees are great. They know what I drink and its constantly good. Sarah is awesome. If we are running late we call ahead. Mom and Pops at its finest.

Truly masterful! Their coffee creations are delicious. Honestly its probably some of the best coffee I have ever had! Their food is fresh and very flavorful! My sister and I stopped in here to kill time before our nail appointment, we ordered the food to-go, but we had to try it before we left and the food was too good to not finish it! The decor and vibe reminds me of a speakeasy. But the experience is definitely heightened by the men behind the coffee bar! Daniel was great! He accommodated all of my crazy requests with the kindest smile! We will absolutely be returning many times over! Sooo happy I found this gem !

I can’t say I would recommend this establishment. I only had a latte…average…but to wait patiently for 20-25 minutes all while witnessing your barista speak so degradingly to his co-worker was unacceptable. I shared my displeasure and got nothing but further aggression. I’m not here to monitor other peoples business, but this isn’t the experience patrons want regardless of how good you think your product may be.

This is my favorite local café. Everyone has always been very friendly, the coffee is always delicious, and the place has a great atmosphere! I also love that you can always find free parking in the back!

I never think of a boba milk tea flavor crepe cake before. After tasted it, I had to say the flavor just blew my mind. The subtle aroma of the tea mixed with the cream just in perfect. The decorations of the cake itself is fabulous as well.

First-timers and the visit was chill. So many choices and well definitely go back. Ask about the loyalty program!

Amazing coffee. Inside the shop there is a menu with many different coffees and someone took the time to draw the coffee cups and draw how much espresso/milk/butter/ice/coconut oil... is in each cup. Coolest menu I’ve ever seen. 1st review I’ve ever done... the coffee was that good.

This place is amazing in so many ways. These guys are the type that take pride in their work. They work with excellence everytime. Theres never been a day that I have seen them be anything other than friendly,respectful, and kind. And every item they have from drinks to food is quality stuff. They are for the community no bull in between.

Great coffee and food but we waited over an hour for a BLT with no line or previous orders before us. I get understaffing if it was busy but it was not.

Great service with a smile. Lots of parking in back. YUMMY coffee! Wish they had some big chairs I could sink into.... then again, I might never leave if that was the case... Definitely recommend.UPDATE: This has become my go-to place for business meetings. The Egg-a-cado toast is VERY Yummy, the coffee & hot chocolate are amazing. Nice outdoor seating, games for the kids to stay busy, large selection of specialty coffee drinks, some I’ve never even heard of. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been going to Kay Rico for some time now and can’t believe I haven’t left a review sooner. I’m incredibly fortunate to live close to the best coffee shop in South Florida. The coffee is rich and delicious, food is yummy, the staff is super friendly and the vibes/chill music make you want to stay and hang. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.

Amazingly friendly jovial staff, wonderful place to sit amd drink, i saw beer limited pastries and wine as well, the esspresso is amazing in flavor, classic barista lingo and drinks. Local independent roastery flavor not likened to starbucks and dunkin whenever in the area i will return. Love little coffee shops like these. I highly recomend them 👍🏾

The only reason I keep coming back is because there is no other establishment in South Florida that makes you feel like family, other than Kay Rico. Very nice coffee place. The music was super chill. I liked the vibe a lot, and the guys working there are very friendly.I had the cafe con leche and liked it. I saw they have food options too, I didn’t try them this time.The bathroom was clean (super nice when you see that in hipster places).I wish they were open later too, and they could actually try hosting some fun events.

Discovered this place this week and been back twice already. 10/10 would reccomend. Great coffee, great customer service, and great food! Ive found a new coffee shop to frequent. Had pleasant conversations with the employees, the man in the back who brings me my food is super nice. Cold brew is refreshing and although its not the fastest service I received I can tell they put care into piecing together what they serve one by one.I wish I could review more than once. It was THAT good.

Hello! My name is West and I went to Kay Rico to get an iced cappuccino yesterday - my girlfriend, Alexis, and I just returned from a 2 month road trip from CT—> FL —> CA and back. I drank more coffee in those two months than I had in the last few years, and I felt compelled to leave a review because Kay Rico’s coffee was THAT good. It was bold, rich, and smoother than even the best cold brew I’ve had elsewhere.I went up to the barista (Tim) and relayed how impressed I was, and his eyes lit up while he educated me on the difference of locally roasted coffee. It was so encouraging to see an employee so stoked about his career and workplace!Kay Rico, across the board, you are doing it so well. Thanks for the best cup of coffee!

We spent a lot of time here before moving. There’s always something new to try. The coffee, the environment, the down to earth baristas... this place is the best, we have been to coffee shops all up & down the east coast, and there really is no place like this one!!

Ive never been to the coffee house, but Ive been to the location at the Farmers Market. They have delicious coffee drinks! I will visit the coffee house on my next bike ride to Young circle.

Best coffee I have ever had! Its a calm, welcoming environment - perfect for studying or just hanging out. The staff is friendly and passionate about what they do, especially Dan. So far my favorite drink is an iced mocha latte with coffee cubes. Highly recommend.

This is a nice coffee shop. Has a nice sandwich shop in the back. If your not sure what kind or type of coffee, they have a nice board that you can look at to help with your selection. Note wifi can be a bit slow at times.

I just wanna mention about this place Kay Rico coffee. When several new coffee places open up in the city of Hollywood Florida. And for one of their employees or one of their friends to go around and start bashing other coffee places to try to get more business is very unprofessional like. There’s plenty of customers all over the place to be shared to be able to support businesses. There’s no need to go and write terrible reviews or bash there competitors.

Im from San Francisco which is the coffee shop mecca. This place would easily become one of the best in SF if it was located there. Great relaxing atmosphere, they roast their own coffee beans, expert baristas that are super friendly, and really good sandwiches. I had a Cuban coffee and the morning mayhem sandwich.

Hands down these guys know wats up. I like my coffee plain... 16oz hot latte x3 shots and best of all these Gents got Oatley Oat Milk. Dude these guys are awesome. Very nice and friendly environment. Live long and prosper to this shop.

The Iced Mocha Latte is absolutely delicious! The quality taste of the coffee is phenomenal. Id highly recommend this local place, as for it has a nice warmy jazzy mood about it. Way to go Kay Rico! Id suggest ordering the large one, as for the smaller size will make you wanting more.

This place should be illegal!!! The food is so amazing its like a drug. While I was in town visiting I went 3 days in a row. What makes the place even better is the staff. They are so friendly and treat everyone with such kindness it is difficult to not feel like family.The games and puzzles they provide were also a much needed distraction for my family and I.Thank you very much Kay Rico!

If you’re looking for great coffee, chill vibes, and awesome service, this place is it! I love how it’s family owned and the owners are usually seen there working alongside employees. They are always trying to improve/add something new to their menu with the customer’s health in mind. I tried a mushroom coffee that is plant based and sugar free (not with artificial sweeteners!) and it was surprisingly so good!! Oh and just found it they make food too!! Keep up the dedicated work Kay Rico!

Pretty good coffee. I’ve been here twice on my vacation; it’s the best I’ve found in Hollywood yet, but they use too much milk in the cappuccino and latte, making it more comparable to Starbucks than to specialty coffee shops. Also, the pastry selections are too plain.

Thanks for ruining coffee for me! Everytime I have other coffee its a disappointment, unfortunately I cant always get coffee here because of where Im at or what time. This place is magic.

We found this place totally by chance and Im very grateful we did. The service was amazing with the couple running the place with ease and grace. The restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. The food was delicious, fresh, and overall inexpensive. It was a very pleasant experience and a beautiful ending for a great weekend out with friends. Will definitely come again when were in the area.Oh yeah. Best hot chocolate Ive had in a long time!

What everyone else has said! They are small though so dont expect the food to come out too quickly (at least during the pandemic) I havent been there when business was normal. It only makes it more obvious though that youre only getting the freshest of everything. It is SO WORTH THE LITTLE WAIT! We shared a BLT with avocado and they needed to substitute the bread for a hoagie roll...oh my gosh. I dont know if Ill even bother to try it with the multi grain now. It was so delicious. This is a God send because the only reason we even knew about it is because of its proximity to the church we have been visiting. If you want a perfect Sunday morning, grab coffee and breakfast here, then head just behind the building to New City Fellowship. It is what everyone needs during these times.

Stopped in for the first time all the way from Orlando looking for a quick espresso but what I found was an exceptional cubanito with some smiling baristas that knew their stuff. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Highly. recommended!!!
