Hello,Beware of Sylc export: very nice advertisement, full of great promises that Dylan (the salesperson) will also repeat to you over the phone. I just received my 1965 Mustang which according to their report was in perfect condition (and selected by them).Today I find myself with a vehicle that cannot be registered: HS engine (cracked block), twisted body (damaged car), without being an expert I realized it from the first kilometer. And as the only answer: to yes, there was a failure ... but now we no longer have the time to check the vehicles that we export ...You will have no recourse in the event of a problem, they will remind you that they are only a simple forwarder (unlike their advertisements). They do not check the vehicles they export and have bogus expertise (which you will be billed for) made by outside companies. The vehicles you buy will be put into containers directly without any inspection. In case of problems (even major ones), the vehicle being already paid, it will be sent all the same.Dylan is really not a reliable person: as soon as I received the vehicle I told him about the various problems dont worry, well take care of the repairs, if its too expensive well take the vehicle back . After playing the watch for months I now have no news of these crooks and several thousand euros in repairs.Hoping that this comment can help other enthusiasts avoid disappointments.

I bought by Sylc Export a 1st Porsche 944 S2 convertible from 1990. Ordered in September, I received it at the end of November in Le Havre. I had no surprises with it, I left Bolloré directly at the wheel. There are of course parts to change (hoses), things to improve, but remember that you are buying a vehicle that is at least 30 years old!I remain stunned by the latest opinions. Sylc is an importer, not a mechanic. For that it does its job and it is already good. For having bought two dozen vehicles abroad, I recommend several things:- take his time,- choose the cars yourself (ebay hemmings etc), prefer the 1st hands, call the seller or send him an email, get pictures of the underside (for rust), interior trim, seats, trunk under the carpet, of the motor,- ask the seller simple affirmative questions (does the dashboard have cracks?),- in case of doubt, pay an expert to advise you,- at the end of the day, send the chosen ad to the importer who is only there to organize the return of the car.I just bought another Porsche in Florida and still have it imported through them. I will do another review.

Good morning allI come back to my experience after buying an oldsmobile cutlass w-31 from 1970 with Sylc-export, after agreeing on the ttc price from Miami to Havre the car arrives at their premises, I receive a little video of the arrival and I hear a disturbing noise when the car is backing up.In the meantime, it is Aline logistics manager who takes charge of my file; reassuring me that they have a good mechanic adjoining their premises she offers me to make a quote I accept, I receive it by email 3300 euro for repairs, whereas before the purchase Dylan sales manager told me he didn t There were only 2 or 3 odds and ends to do above, we are no longer in the odds! But hey, if I want to have my technical control in France I have the work done, with in parentheses comments from Sylc customers happy to have done the work through their mechanic.I receive the photos before and after work on my car, I tell myself that they are serious, I am reassured,The car is ready to leave after two and a half months of waiting to redo the (title) American vehicle registration document was not compliant; I still had to pay more than 550 euro for my car to be insured during sea transport when everything had to be included in the purchase of the car; but OK! Im still paying it starts to get expensive plus the work.I received my car at the end of July 2020, hs battery fortunately I had clamps The turn signals already do not work, it was not provided for in the estimate when I had to have a car ready for the technical control I start to disillusioned! windshield wipers dont work even though I paid to repair the windshield wiper motor, reversing lights one in two that comes on paid too. hs rear tires, oil leaks everywhere, hs brake hoses leaking locked and so on ....I take my car to my mechanic who only does American cars his record is not encouraging I have parts and labor for 4100 euros Im up against the wall so I do the work my budget has exploded I ended up having my technical control and my registration card but at what price !!A piece of advice is never to have work done on their garage, which is zero and in bad faith, moreover.I asked Sylc for compensation for the parts that I was invoiced and not changed I am still waiting after endless exchanges of emails and phone calls, their mechanic has put the key under the doormat all that is stories and wind to repay nothing.Their only slogan we are not responsible for the mechanic it is a bit easy as an excuse when I asked for an invoice for the repairs, this one was established to me at the header of Sylc-export so they are responsible for what they offer customers but assume nothing in the event of a dispute other than outlandish proposals. To conclude their website boasts more than 93% of satisfied customerswhere did the remaining 7% go? I am here to testify.

Bad experience.Purchase and export of a 1968 c3 convertible corvette through Sylc-export.Condition of the vehicle not in accordance with the announcement, vehicle not checked by Sylc-export before shipment, central console exchanged before placing in container (photos before shipping and upon receipt in support, litigation file opened with Bolloré and Sylc-export) .The car was received in September 2018 and still does not drive because not accepted at the technical control, more than 4600 € of invoice since its delivery and it is not finished ... (cost of the vehicle, purchase, shipping, customs clearance and work = more than € 40,000 ...).This vehicle was offered to me by Sylc-export and purchased through them. The car was sold to me as in excellent condition and showing NO FAULTS (email still supporting ...), it is quite another thing:Chassis with perforating rust on some reinforcements requiring replacement, broken hood fiber and patched front fender, paint touch-ups on the whole car (impossible to see on the photos transmitted before the sale because photos taken from the best angles. .), HS shock absorbers, HS wipers and headlights actuation system, HS vacums, HS central console manos, and so on ...Although Sylc-export has been informed, I have been walking around for months, it is suggested that I put rustproofing on the chassis to hide the misery, to apply wax to hide the imperfections of the body and to minimize the problem, we question the professionalism and honesty of the mechanic who performs the work to present the car to the MOT. Unacceptable attitude from a company that boasts that it has specialized in the sale and export of American cars for more than a decade. Many other clients have certainly been luckier, I only share my own experience. It would have to be done again, I would go to an import specialist located in France, whom I can meet to see how he works, what matters and I would ask for a full expertise with photos and maintenance invoices. For information, the Sylc-export company is domiciled in the United States. In the event of a dispute, the company is difficult to reach, which is not trivial ...
