I went to Party City in Oakwood for the first time and the service provided was excellent with the exception of one young cashier who didnt bother to help us plus gave me the wrong information. I guess you will find some staff like him wherever you go. The rest of the staff including the manager went above and beyond to make the visit a pleasant one. I recommend this store 100%. I love it.!!

Great location. Usually they are stocked before Halloween more so then this but lucky for us we still found a link costume for our son and it was in his size!

I placed an online order and an hour later I got a message saying sorry the order did not work out for you, thank you for canceling and that I would not be charged. my card was still charged. I never once canceled my order. I have called the store a million times with no response. I ended up trying to call some other stores with no luck. I will no longer shop party city. I dont know what type of scam they are trying to run.

Very disorganized. Some of the employees had difficulty inflating my balloon in which they called over the “manager” that apparently didn’t know how to do that either. My balloons didn’t even stay up for an hour. I would’ve been better off going to the dollar store.

The service was great. 2 of the balloons I purchased deflated in less than 2 hours

The sections can be a little overwhelming, but the created a great balloon arrangement for me. Pre-place your order online, but be specific with how youd like the balloons arranged.

Sometimes their products are open and i dont like to buy used items, but in general they have a nice variations of plastics with all kind of colors, the prices are a little high BUT in general the store organized better than the dollar store and its a good place to buy party needs

Quick to fill order for curbside pickup. The 2 spots for pickup were occupied. I parked storefront. Had to call and meet them at the door to get my bag of merchandise.

The customer service I experienced here was amazing (Ray) was so polite and helpful but the line was extremely long, The manager Jennifer left early despite know Friday is one of the busiest days. Shows poor management hire a manager that cares about there employees and the stores performance.

Needs a little a TLC on the location but well stocked

Two weekends ago, on auntie duty, I had to stop by the store to grab a last minute giant balloon for a birthday party I was about to attend with my nieces (11 and 3). The girls were not cooperating with the pit stop. Staff anticipated my need and they were overly eager to help in a courteous, efficient manner. I even received a complimentary balloon weight. Thank you Party City :)

There is ALWAYS a wait at the register. Even if theres only one person in line. Other than that professional staff and good stock and variety.

Came here today for Halloween themed cake decorations. Did not find much. Pretty disappointed in the selection.

Where you go for kids parties when youre too posh for the dollar store. Fun to walk through with toddlers since its filled with their kind of eye candy. And even real candy. Its laid out particularly well to be sure, but if you must spent 3-5 times more than you need to - you may want to consider giving to the charity of your choice instead. Up to you.

The worst service ever. They wouldn’t help in showing me what I needed. Then I bought balloons after waiting in line forever and they made me wait so someone else can fill them up. They let people keep shopping while they were at the register.

Needed to pick up party supplies for a surprise event very well stocked store

I went to party City this morning to get some balloons filled up with air. The people behind the counter were friendly and gave me excellent serviceI had four balloons filled they were done within a couple of mins.

Love it always can find the right items for the right price specially mi kids costumes.

If it were possible to leave no stars I would. Lets start off w/ how messy the store was upon arrival. Not to mention the rude employees. The manager who I guess is Chunky Mike... is rude as ever. The employees are nonchalant. You can ask for help and they will verbally try to navigate you through the store but never will they walk you to a specific product that you are looking for. They never greet you or even ask if you need any help. Its like shopping in a store full of zombies. Definitely not shopping here anymore. Especially if Careless Mike doesnt clean it up around there. That goes for attitude and store!!!!!

This Party City has its ups and downs. Some days it is terrific and some days it is the pits. The store itself is situated in Oakwood Plaza. A great location with wonderful parking. It is clean, neat and generally well stocked. Sales personnel are hard to find and not necessarily the most knowledgeable. They are the ones who lower the rating for this store. Really too bad since it could be doing a much greater volume of business.

Was sent to this location by another store to pick up items they said they would hold for me at the front. I arrived approx. 18-mins later and nobody held anything...to make it worse they didnt have the item in stock and I had to speed to another location to get there before they closed the doors. The Oakwood Plaza location is staffed by indifferent associates that pass the buck, and are there simply to collect a paycheck. Sadly, they are a very poor reflection to the ideal of Party City, and I wont waste my time nor the aggravation of going there.

I went to this Party City roughly a month ago for a costume and was told I could return it. I brought it back a few days later to return it. The girl working the register, I believe her name is Vanessa, scanned the items I was returning and then told me to insert my debit card so I could be refunded. After doing so, she puts the items in a bag and hands it to me as if I had just bought it! I explained to her that I was returning these items and she realized the mistake and told me to put my card back in a 2nd time for the refund. At this point I get a refund for the 2nd purchase but still have not gotten my refund for the original purchase. I explain this to her and she says I can expect it to be refunded within a week. I was skeptical but took her word for it. This was two or three weeks ago and I still havent received my refund even though I returned the costume to the store. It was about $70 worth of stuff so Im pretty unhappy at this point.

The management at this place is ridiculously incompetent. They have a line of 10+ people with one cashier, answering phones, and blowing up balloons. It took her at least 30 minutes to open up another register. They had 3 other employees doing absolutely nothing. Not only was the store a mess but their customer service skills were beyond terrible. There is absolutely no reason for a customer to wait 45 minutes for two balloons. What kind of business does that? Let’s get it together Party City in Oakwood Plaza.

Had to buy a Piñata for a birthday party. The selection was good and the price was also good. They need to clean the restroom.

Liars liars.. Had a wig posted for $5.99 and i needed 2 for a wedding.. They tell me i could only buy one at that price and the other if i payed $11.99.. All because they marked it wrong

I just left your store and you associate was real rude. i was in line for over 5 min and you only had one cashier. i asked the lady doing the balloons if someone else can help and she said ya but made the line ware 3 more min. i usually have good service but today was just sad.

Not very helpful staff. This store has a lot of merchandise. When I asked for assistance to find a simple item the employee on the register simply said its on aisle 7. I asked a second employee, her reply was the same. After searching aisle 7 twice. I asked the second employee if she could please show me where on aisle 7. She gave a look of annoyance and huffed, then asked a 3rd person. Who had no idea what I was talking about!! Smh. After walking down several aisles, I found what I needed on aisle 9!!!

Rude store manager( Mallory)After many times buying at Party City Oakwood Plaza, we receive a rude treatment from a lady called Mallory at the cashier. ( she declare her self as the store manager when I asked).Last year we bought metallic balloons we didn’t use for or kid birthday. This year we visit the de store and bought more item. I asked the lady to inflate my balloons and she say that she have to charge $7.99. I ask her to check on the computer for my last year purchase as I’m always asked for my phone number. She didn’t find it and she told me that she have to charge as “people steal the balloons and then they come back to inflate them”. I mentioned her that is the worst treatment for a returning costumer. She said back to me that’s company policy.I doubt that this is the standar of costumer experience you want your client to have.I definitely expect a reply from HQ. If someone looks google reviews and care.Thank you

Not very productive visit. Had nothing we were looking for in th yellow ducky theme that is very popular at the moment. The selection of other themes were good.

Nice store, it have a lot of products but needs to be organized better.

Spent over $300, they said we will fill up your balloons at no charge. The day before my event they wanted to charge extra to fill them up because I didnt have my receipt. Furthermore the manager got no customer service whatsoever.

Cashier was very helpful and the item I needed was in stock.

They were fully stocked the only issued I had was the wait time in line. The wait time was 10 mins.

I wish I could give a negative score, but unfortunately I cant. Employees are non helpful. You ask them a question they seem unaware. You ask for a product they verbally try to direct you to it, instead of walking you to it. Even the managers Mike and Mallory, are nonchalant and not helpful. They bring shame to commercials party city advertise about associates being helpfu and willing to.help.This whole store needs to be retrained on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their attitudes are ones just collecting paychecks and killing time.

Very frustrating when you call a store and ask for something specific. So, as to not travel around town. I called an hour before arriving and to my surprise, they did not have, in stock, what I was looking for. Why xall then. Why have associates trained and working there if they do not do what they are required to do. Disappointed in this specific location and there staff.
