Great service! I called Albers on a Thursday, early AM inquiring about a new washing machine. Within just a few minutes Dan helped me find the washer and set up the delivery. The washer was delivered on Tuesday just when they said. The delivery guys took away the old machine, set up the new one, and we paid by check at that time. The whole transactions was easy, efficient, and economically reasonable. I wouldnt go anywhere else for appliances!

Im always looking for the local business for anything I need to purchase or have serviced, a couple of years ago the washing machine decided that its time to give up, so it was to look up a local business that sold appliancesCouldnt have a better choice, Albers has great customer service and delivery was according what was promised.And on Friday the belt on the dryer broke, Monday morning they came and changed that and dryer is back in operation, Excellent service and customer service!!
I have been purchasing from this independent business for about 20 years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my appliances. Customer service is excellent. Their installers are well qualified and I know this is hard to believe, but I’ve never been disappointed, that is why they get my business. Other stores may be a bit lower in pricing, but they can’t compete with the overall service you get from Alber’s.
Sales person Dan was just plain rude. I tried asking questions regarding different window AC units and he was short. As much as I like to support local business but thats just terrible customer service with local folks.
Ive have never dealt with anyone as rude and disrespectful as their salesperson Dan. I asked a simple question about a product I was planning to purchase: Is this a new product, an opened box that someone returned, or a display model? He rudely demanded to know if I ask everyone [I] talk to that question? He then said he wasnt interested and hung up on me. Is that not a justifiable question? They want my money and Im not allowed to ask about the product Im purchasing? In my opinion they probably sell display or second hand products and pass them off as new. Ive been through this before and have dealt with a lot of businesses like this in my practice.If you ever purchase an appliance that fails to conform to the advertisement (non-conforming goods), or does not work correctly dont fall for the line, Its under warranty... we are not taking it back call a repairman. Instead, I strongly suggest contacting an attorney and seeking all remedies under state and federal law. If the goods/products are non-conforming (non-conforming means does not work correctly, damaged, scratched, or just not what you ordered), you are entitled to a complete refund, including delivery fees. There are several laws that allow you to recover your court costs and attorneys fees in matters like this.
Very impressed with Albers Appliance. A diamond in the rough...had a dishwasher that broke on Monday and Dave managed to get a new one delivered and installed by today! Very pleased with the service, will definitely be ordering again! Happy holidays and all the best for 2021!
Scott came to fix our ice machine in the fridge and he did an excellent job. He was professional, kept his mask on, was on time, and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend.

Most of time they are very good when are call for the repair of the machine (washer and dryer ) in our condo. This time the technician came on Tuesday per my understanding to fix the machine( I been call Tuesday all day for up date to see if he came or not)and no luck, but the machine do not work still .I call again on Wednesday to let them know the machine do not work (it do not even lid up the lights after you put the money in, I try it and other people on my floor try it)and they told me is nothing wrong with the machine is just overloading and Russell -the technician will call but no one call nor to came to fix it and we bought the appliance from them. First of all I do not see the reason to just call, the lady job was to send him back to repair the machine( two lady answer the phone and both they say Russell will calls). So far no call and no machine fix on Thursday and the appointment was for Tuesday.

BE WARNED! I called a week in advance of a service call that I needed for 4 of my 206 apartment complex that needed service on washing machines. After talking to Jody and scheduling the appointment, I again called the day before to confirm the service call for 2 of the apartments. I was told that they had the info they needed and that I was 2nd on Scotts list for the following day. After sitting and waiting for 2 and a half hours, I pick up the phone to see where they are at on getting to me only to be told, I was removed from the schedule because the woman that answered the phone the day before did not get the info they needed from me when I called and confirmed the appointment to begin with. Now they even had my phone number and instead of reaching back out to me to ask me any questions they might have had, again, they failed to do even that. When I then got yelled at by Dave, the service manager who is actually one of the owners, then tossed back to Jody on the phone to get tossed back to whoever the 3rd woman was, I had had enough. The customer service of this company is horrible. Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE. They made it clear that me, as the customer, I was somehow at fault for them not getting more info that they needed instead of picking up the phone and calling me. I have NO appliance repair company for 206 apartments, and would have loved it to be them. Now I would not use them if they were the only ones in existence. All this after they were referred to me by a personal friend that they all know!!! At this point, I sincerely wonder how they are still in business. I would not use them if I were you.

There is nothing worse than a refrigerator suddenly dying in the middle of July, right? Actually, there is - when it also happens to be the middle of a pandemic, as I had the misfortune of finding out. I spent an entire frustrating day trying to shop online for a replacement fridge, and anything that would fit our space properly was on backorder until at least September because of the virus. I was seriously picturing having to use a beer cooler as a refrigerator for the next two months. Suddenly I remembered Albers. I called them years ago to fix my clothes dryer. I wish I had remembered them sooner! Everyone was so helpful, from Jodi who answered the phone, to my salesperson, Dan. I had a new fridge that perfectly fit my space up and running, and my old one hauled away, the very next day. The whole process, from my initial call to the delivery guys (who were also awesome!) leaving my house took approximately an hour of my time, if that. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase or their service. Highly recommend!ps: I was also pleasantly surprised to find the price they charged me was about 20% less than the Big Box stores were charging for the exact same product + delivery!
Couldnt Be Happier. Everyone one at Albers was great, from Jodi answering the phone to Dan in charge to the installers (sorry I didnt catch their names). We were in a pinch with an oven that broke down. Dan offered us a better price on the replacement oven than the big box retailers and had it delivered and installed in less than a week. Highly, highly recommend.

I purchased a Speed Queen washer here. I live about 30 minutes away and this is one of the only retailers that sell Speed Queen. I called and spoke to Dave and did some price shopping. Their price was competitive and included delivery & installation & removal of my old washer. Dave was pleasant and knowledgeable. It was nice dealing with a small mom-n-pop retailer, and receive personalized service. I was the only customer there and he took his time and answered any questions for me. He showed me a similar washer so I knew what I was buying. I paid for the washer on a Friday, and they ordered it from Speed Queen, with delivery scheduled for Tuesday. The delivery man called and delivered on time. He was professional and courteous. He was cautious and tested the washer before he left. I gave him a tip and everyone was happy. The washer is great and well built. I would recommend Albers so far. If anything changes, I will submit an updated review.

Scott showed up early for our appointment window and proceeded to quickly and accurately estimate the cost for repair of the four appliances I called about. He had most of the parts in his truck and was finished in under an hour with all of my issues resolved. very happy with booking of job as well - person on phone very personable, professional and understanding of my appliance issues. highly recommend and will use Albers again!

Great first time experience! Helped a relative purchase a refrigerator and dishwasher over the phone. Worked with Dan, who gave us great prices, and accommodated us in all of our requests. I really prefer working with a family business over the big chains.
I have had no cold beverages or a way to store fresh produce or simply saving just cooked food for the past 4 days (since Friday afternoon that is). Finally got in touch with a nice young man who delivered the fridge ordered Monday that was yet to be brought to our apartment by our Maven building management. My refrigerator stopped cooling so I called Albers after reading online reviews They were very professional over the phone and mentioned that there will be a $95 for the visit and up to 30 min of labor which I thought is fair. The tech arrived the next day and was very nice. He checked the unit and advise that it is a sealed system issue (leak of freon or compressor issue) and that they do not do this type or repairs and referred me to another company. If I were to know before the visit that they do not repair freon leaks I would have chosen a different company as this is a very common reason for not cooling refrigerators. I am sure they are good company but I would not recommend them for refrigerator repair.PSThe tech from the company they recommended, was able to diagnose the problem in less than 5 min....

Had appliance installed. The installer actually had the nerve to try and steal business from the general contractor who was remodeling my kitchen. How rude and disrespectful. Not very good business practices when a company tries to be a snake on a job....Watch Out...
Dave is rude and sarcastic. We just went in to see about a refrigerator handle repair and he ignored us for 10 minutes until we opened the conversation. Apparently the job is too small but there was a nicer way to handle it. Condo buildings with Albers Appliance accounts should look elsewhere and I will encourage them to do so.

Stay away. No loyalty for long time customers and poor customer service. I’ve used them for 20 years at my rental properties. I had a repair needed at my home. They expected me to go two weeks without a dryer. They have a “we are busy, like it or leave it attitude” Extremely disappointed.

These people are incredible! Years ago, I bought a double washer/dryer from them and it lasted 15 years without a single service call! Recently I had some problems with my latest dryer, a Maytag Ive only had a few years. I called Sears, and the service people were horrible and wanted to charge a fortune. So, I called and asked Albers if they did repair work as well. Their customer service people were well informed and professional; they sent out Scott, a polite young man who looked at the dryer and diagnosed it in 5 minutes and fixed it in 15, left the place clean and now I have my dryer. From now on, I will call Albers for all of my repairs and shop for appliances.
