Nice little bottle shop! They have a pretty wide variety of canned beers to choose from. They have 20 beers on tap as well and cold cans to choose from to drink on site as well.Atmosphere is laid back and a good spot to meet friends and enjoy a cold one 🍻

Im almost hesitant to share this local gem! Friendly staff helped me pick out some killer craft beers at great prices, and the environment is chill enough that I could play board games until close with friends. Being able to bring outside food is a gamechanger, and the interior was super spacious. A great spot for a hangout!

Cool bottle shop. Beer selection on tap as well as cans for purchase. The service wasnt that great and they only allow you to sample 2 beers. Ive never seen that before and I do a lot brewery tours. Seems unnecessary given how expensive the beers are there. Some of their basic beers that were under 6% ABV were $8.50!

Black Dog is a wonderful place here in Holly Springs. Not only do they have a great selection of local craft beer for sale, they also have 20 rotating taps, good bar setup, and board games to play too. It’s more than just a beer store, it’s a great hangout.

Nice bottle shop and dog friendly social “club” (have to pay a dollar for a year membership which then gets donated to a local shelter).Good draught selection and ok can and bottle selection with plenty of room to grow. A little confusing as to bottle and can pricing but the staff are friendly and helpful. Music trivia on Tuesday. No food.

This place has introduced me to new several new beers. The policy of this place is to frequently rotate beers on tap so you may not experience the same beer twice. They also have an impressive assortment of cans and bottles to choose from.And its pet friendly so you can take your dog out for a drink.

The staff and owners are friendly and very knowledgeable, which is saying something as the beer selection is really diverse. They rotate the taps constantly so its a great way to try something you wouldnt get otherwise. Plenty of board and card games to keep you entertained and its super dog friendly too.

These guys have an excellent selection of craft beer from NC and beyond. The owners and staff are super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The place is well lit and clean. We like drinking beer here and shopping for beer to take home. I couldnt recommend it more.

Edited to add details: I came here for a board game meeting this past weekend and it was a great time! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I appreciated having a nice communal space (with large tables!) to spend some time with friends while having a drink. Will definitely be back!

Great staff that is very knowledgeable on all different types and styles of beers. The selection of cans, bottles and draught beer is very good. I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing something to go but if you have time, grab a seat at the bar (or table) and enjoy. Oh yea, the owners work with a lot of local groups on dog adoptions, etc. I cant say enough good things about this place and staff.

Very friendly and warm owners. Went to the bottle shop in Cary and the service was horrible but it was packed - think it was the ambience. Music and lower lighting created a pub like atmosphere. Would love to see this ambience at black dog -think it might produce a lot more customers to have some tunes on the background and lower the lights. People will stay longer, chat, and drink more craft beer. Architectural design and beer selection is wonderful. Spoke to several HS residents and they agree - turn down the lights and put some music on.

New to the Holly Springs area and stopped here for the first time this evening. Staff was friendly and there was a good selection of beers on tap. Didnt browse the shelves as there was a dog trainer presentation going on, but Ill definitely be back soon.
