Dropped my 1965 Wagoneer off on September 18th 2012 - Still waiting for my jeep to get done - the absolute worst place to do business with - going on 9 long years and have nothing to show for it but a paint job and excuse after excuse !! STAY AWAY ALL VETERANS - FROM AN FORMER ARMY RANGER !!
Always great, great service. I bought our CJ from Pete in the late 90’s. And all repairs and additions have been performed at the Toy Box ......
Pete and Kim have always been a great help..very nice people to do business with
A very nice family owned business. Great customer service. Very knowledgeable & experienced staff.
Used them several times for multiple classic Jeeps. Always fair and honest. Best place in the southeast USA if you want to build a classic CJ Jeep.
Tried to use this place to redtore my cj7. Over three years later I finally had to fire them. No communications on progress, work was mediocre, I gave them tons of time, dollars, and second chances. All I got was excuses.
My daughter and I bought an 87 YJ Jeep Wrangler just for a fun car, very good shape for its age. Soon after we bought it started stalling when we slowed down or stop in traffic. We took it to 2 mechanics in Orlando who didnt fix the problem, one told me it needed a cleaning of the fuel system the other adjusted the carburetor. I dont remember now how I found out about the Toy Box Jeeps because they are one hour away from me, probably some review on some Jeep forum, but I called and Pete told me over the phone what he thought it was wrong and advised me to have it towed by AAA for free. I am a member but would never have thought to use them. I sent the Jeep to his shop and am extremely lucky to have found them. They fixed the problem, very reasonable price. I asked them to check what else it needed fixed while he had it in the shop. He never tried to sell me any thing. The jeep is now running like new !!! We just discovered a leak, called him and over the phone he told me (again) what he thought it was......in other words: this is a family run shop where you get to talk to the owner......he is always available, their shop is huge and nothing but Jeeps, very professional and well known all the over the country (now I found out) this is where Ill take the Jeep from now on and will recommend to all.
Awesome very helpful, friendly and honest will go out if their way for you
Great service nice clean store well-stocked
Cheap prices........ I was out of town from NC and my transmission went out. I was offered a used or rebuild as options and decided to go for the rebuilt. At first everything seemed great but it wasnt long until I found out my clutch master and slave cylinder had been messed up as well as no longer being able to get into 4wd Low. When I take a vehicle to a shop with certain things working and then leave the shop with them not working then logic says the shop messed it up. Many hundreds of dollars later everything has been corrected by a local NC shop I know and trust. Maybe I am on my own but in my opinion when a transmission is replaced all things in direct relation to the transmission should be checked. Mistakes happen and that is understandable but if a customer calls to go over the mistakes they should not be hung up on. I stand by this review 100% and would be more than willing to adjust if I ever feel that I have been cared for as a customer and lover of jeeps. Thanks for costing no less than the local Jeep dealer would have......
