I am a Realtor and my client had very HIGH standards and a was working with a very tight budget for this remodel when she found Chuck. Chuck and his crew did an outstanding job and the finished product was stunning, as you can see. They provided great value, delivered a great finished product and did exactly as they said they would. With a critical eye managing the project and East Coast Countertops delivering to high expectations, a successful renovation was completed and a very happy homeowner was found with the finished product. First things first; I do not take negative reviews lightly. That being said the photos showing the horrible job of grouting around the countertop were taken (time stamped) in early March and after 10-15 calls and two visits it has not been repaired.1st PointDo not fall for the discount if you pay 100% upfront. NEVER pay more than a 50%, because they have theirs and you are 100% at their mercy. I have never had another contractor request 100% up front. That is a mistake that I will never repeat.2nd PointThe counters were cut incorrectly. The island cut around the stove was so bad that a piece that does not belong had to be added just to cover the chipped and jagged cut. The sink counter was so off that the grout is a millimeter wide at some points and over a 1/4 at others. Like I said above I called (and logged) between 10-15 times since March, and they visited twice as if to evaluate what they needed to repair and with what, but then stopped taking my calls or responding to messages. Keep in mind this was not a daily call but roughly weekly.3rd PointThere is a piece of lumber wedged under my sink (they placed there) since the sink fell on my handyman installing a garbage disposal. I am afraid to remove it untill the new evaluations for satisfactory and industry standards are completed for legal purposes.4th PointI know the contract says they are not responsible for damage to your kitchen (i.e. floors, appliances, ECT.), but there is such a thing as excessive.PICTURES1st pictures are of the grout around the counter to fill the crazy space from uneven cut...look and do I need to say more?2nd pictures are of the island cut around the stove, and then the piece that had to be added to cover them.3rd pictures are of under the sink wood...can you spot the piece of 2x4?4th pictures are of one of the spots of bad damage to my floors from complacincy.Things I have learned from this is NEVER EVER pay up front, AND research research research before spending that kind of money on a contractor.Take it for what you will. This review was left after every attempt to resolve the situation were pushed off and then finally ignored completely.I added this afterwards. How could I have forgot. The last pictures are of the sink to counter installation. Let us just say it does not look like the samples in their office.I will post my contract/receipt for proof of service. I also have the cashiers check receipt. I tried everything to communicate and get these issues resolved since March! What are you going to say when I post my contract and cashiers check made out to your company?

This company deserves way more than 5 stars, 3 weeks ago I was shopping around for cabinet and granite places, everywhere I went the other places were thousands of dollars out of my budget. I finally stopped by East Coast Countertops I met with Kayla (chucks daughter) and Chuck. I immediately knew this was the place I wanted to do my kitchen remodel just because its family owned, the environment is so welcoming, It was simple, I told Chuck my budget and he didnt go over it or close to it. I had my cabinets done, granite, wood floors and backsplash for WAY under what the other places were charging. Chuck told me 3 weeks my kitchen would be done and it took exactly 2 weeks. thank you East Coast Countertops, for my next house I will be using you again.

After shopping for a 4X4 remnant I had to talk hubby into going to just one more place. So glad we did. Very pleasant, professional, and eager to help even though this was a very small purchase. We just recently completed a total home remodel while staying in our home 😜 it was quite the experience on all levels. Luckily we had a great company to work with which included East Coast Countertops! I’m sure as you can imagine there were many ups and downs but thanks to Chuck and his daughter Kayla we ended up with an amazing kitchen!!!! The granite is beautiful and really accents the whole kitchen and we all know how important the kitchen is in a home. The Quartz countertops look beautiful. We had to have them come back to fix an issue, Chuck sent the man back out to fix everything within a week as he said he would. They did a great job, and the men were very polite and professional. We are happy with everything!

I was having remodeling done in my kitchen and was given East Coast Countertops name to check out for our granite. We had to do all of our communications via text and email due COVID and not being able to travel to our home in FL. Everyone from the start was fantastic. We still have not been down to see for ourselves the work done but we have had family checking on the progress and have heard only positive remarks. East Coast Countertops remodeled our kitchen and baths at our last house, so it just seemed fitting to call them when we needed countertops and flooring at our new house. We would recommend East Coast Countertops again and again. The process was easy and everyone we worked with was accommodating.

I went to 3 other places to try to get a small vanity countertop from their remnants. They all said 4-6 weeks to do the job. East Coast was able to fit in my small job and had it ready in 3 days. They came out and installed it but 1 of the backslash peices had gone missing. The installer remanufactured the peice and came out the next afternoon and installed it. It looks great.

We are very pleased with our kitchen counters. Everyone we worked with at East Coast Countertops was so nice and helpful. The process was much quicker than I expected and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

I checked out many different granite places between New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach and decided to go with Chuck at East Coast. I like his personality....he is trustworthy, helpful, and had the best prices around. He is direct, no-nonsense person. I picked out a granite, he gave me the best price around ( after searching for months!) and was prompt with the install. HIs employees are friendly and professional. Its hard to find someone to do exactly what you ask and come to install exactly when they say they will!!! I was very impressed and pleased with this organization. I would highly recommend!!

We were very unhappy with East coast. We had new granite countertops installed and an undermount sink the first of March. On July 25th the undermount sink fell into the granite and did damage to the plumbing, etc. We had to have a plumber fix the problem. They had installed the sink with 2 fasteners. There should have been more. I called East coast and she said they have never had that happen. Well it did happen. I will never use them again and Ill let everyone know the job they did.

I was doing a kitchen renovation for a friend and he wanted granite tops, so I took the liberty to find a granite guy who was local. I seen a facebook ad for East Coast Countertops and figured I would give them a call. I met with Chuck the owner, have gave me a price for the entire job which included measuring, fabrication and installation. I checked around and no-one could or would match his price not even the big box stores as they call them. I figured what do we have to lose. Well lose we did not, Chuck was a man of his word, measured perfectly, fabricated quickly and installed days before his estimated time. The entire company was courteous, fast and good customer relations. I have my own personal work to be done at my home and I wont bother even calling anyone else...

First, check the five star reviews here. Most are friends or relatives of Chuck. Many did not have work done by them. Common theme with one star reviews. Lying, not showing up and very poor customer service. Products and price appear to be good. The trouble starts when the actual service begins. Now they are trying to get away from people they did wrong to by moving and changing name. This same company is still in business, no doubt still ripping off people.I would like to get Todd Angels number to give him a call to get information.

The staff was 100% awesome in assisting us with all of our needs. They have a great cabinet and stone collection as well as backsplash and hardware. I was in search for a specific exotic granite that I was having an extremely hard time finding elsewhere.. Chuck at East Coast was able to locate the stone and have it delivered 3 days later! Just had my countertops redone and I am THRILLED. I absolutely love them. They did a great job installing, despite it being a difficult job. They finished it in ONE day as well! Id highly recommend anyone going here, they have a great selection and cant beat the price!

While the job took a few weeks longer than promised, overall I have a beautiful brand new kitchen with quality cabinets and granite that didn’t cost any where near the amount I was quoted from other companies. We had the best installers (Mike & Shane) that tended to all of my concerns from start to finish while they were working. When I had any troubles, I’d reach out to Chuck and they’d get taken care of. While I think there can be improvements to coordinating everything and it was difficult living without a kitchen for 5 weeks, I’m glad we were able to get as close to our dream kitchen as possible without paying the price.

Update: after being harassed by the owner for my generous 3 stars I am changing my review to a 1 star. Business owners do not treat customers this way.I had cabinets and counters installed in May. The cabinets and counters were great and a good price. However my problem is with the service and the trim in the kitchen. We had an island installed and since install the trim has been falling off daily. We called and asked to have it fixed. There was also Trim next to the dishwasher that caved in. We asked him to fix it- he came out and sent us a $75 bill after no mention of a charge to fix this- the problem is it fell off the next day again!We also have white cabinets installed and the trim on the side of the white cabinet over our microwave was trimmed in black. I asked why and the original installer said it was temporary - it was never changed. Its an eyesore. When asking about it again, they said I would have to pay to have it changed. Not okay. Unfortunately I paid for the cabinets upfront for a discount and have no leverage. Repeated texts to the owner were ignored - for all problems. I would use this company with caution. Its a real shame since I have several projects that need done and was going to use them as my provider.

I contracted with East Coast about 2 weeks ago for new granite countertops. One of my tops were cut wrong, I was very upset & call the office and spoke with Keyla she stated she is sorry for the inconvenience & that it will be fixed today. Sure enough I had a new top the same day, the guys work until 10pm installing this new top I was beyond satisfied. Was there issues yes but they were fixed and my kitchen looks excellent now

Beware! Never finished job! Holes were cut wrong in granite and I could not even install faucets in my bathroom. They didnt show up 2 times to fix it. They wouldnt answer phone calls. My husband went right in and they answered first time when called from a different phone. When called out on it manager Ian told him to find someone else to finish the job. This is only a small amount of the story which includes my husband having to take off work to hold cabinets up so installer could install them. They cut through walls, dropped cabinet on my new stainless fridge, lost my drawer that they took to make another back and cabinets were left undone. My husband had to end up taking them down and redoing. Stay as far away from this company ad possible!!!!

Had a set of cabinets and granite countertops installed into a new medical office. Started off well. Picked cabinets and granite, then waited for installation. The new cabinets have scratches from installation. Countertop/desktop installation was with scrap 2x4s and silicone. Called and left messages with no response from owner or staff. Overall, the biggest issue was the sloppy installation and lack of communication. Price was fair, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Worst experience ever... lied to every time I called. Cabinets were supposed to be installed in Two weeks...didnt happen. They couldnt even cut the granite, they had to send it out to another place and that guy was even disgusted with them. All of this and they never called us to let us know what was going on and when we called, they lied just to get us off the phone. I dont know how they stay in business. It ended up taking over 4 weeks to complete the job. I felt sorry for the guy who installed the cabinets because I wasnt the only one complaining. I even told CJ, that I could refer him some people who were looking to redo their kitchen.... not now, not ever.

About two years ago I used East coast countertops for my kitchen it came out so beautiful, they were so fast and polite, no one could beat their price I tried trust me. My husband and I were So satisfied that we use them again recently for our bathroom. We picked out a piece of granite that was very unique we had never seen anything like it before. They completed our bathroom from startcounter, backsplashes, show seat, and window sill from start to finish within 10 days and it was even more beautiful than our kitchen. They have such a nice new selection in their tile showroom at their location on Nova Rd. Chuck was very attentive and took his time in going over the different tile and designs with my husband and I and just took his time, we didnt feel rushed.The installer Adam did an amazing job on the installation in our bathroom it looks so beautiful. It was a full bathroom remodel and he even did the exact custom inlays and nitches I have been wanting. Not to mention the floor looks so beautiful too. They went above and beyond! I had the East Coast crew do a entire remodel including floors, cabinets, and quartz counter tops. Everything worked out great. I wouldnt think about using anyone else, I already started pricing out my bathroom with them. wouldnt go any where else.
