Two of the women working here were pleasant and kind, but one woman was especially rude. Yelling at us and physically bumping us out of her way I also heard her treating another customer as though she was ignorant. I had planned on spending some serious $ there but walked out not wanting to spend my money there ever.

Very large selection of spices and other kitchen items. Some Michigan made items including the random wind chimes, which did look like good quality and sounded nice too. Some unique items, and some repeats of items you can find at other shops in the area. Things are a bit on the pricey side.

Wonderful place for spice lovers and tea. Great service, we had wonderful chicken with rosemary and garlic premixed pack. Would go again, just ask they will help!!!

Today was my first stop in at seasoned home and was treated with a warm welcome by the staff! I recently started drinking more tea to try something new, and they were extremely helpful at recommending based on what I liked! They are also helpful at narrowing down the hot versus iced teas and which do or dont have caffeine, crucial for an all day tea drinker! I would highly recommend as a great local store for any tea or spice needs, plus you get to meet the friendly staff which is always a bonus to have people to chat with!

I just received and gift basket of teas and goodies for Christmas from my daughter-in-law and everything is just amazing! The teas are incredible! Love the Yoga tea; like a wonderful flavor explosion. I will definitely be purchasing more tea and buying gift baskets in the future.

My rating is not due to what the store carries (which is great),but due to the fact that today, at a time when were being told about more contagious forms of COVID which are dangerous even for those who are vaccinated, and that we should even use double masks, the two women working in the store today were not respecting the requirement we customers have (to wear a mask), but were using those totally ineffective minuscule plastic half-shields which barely rose above their noses, and left a lot of air space around the rest of their face.NOT COVID SAFE, and NOT protecting their customers. No hand sanitizer to be seen.

We love this store! The service is always good and they carry great products. Their spice blends are wonderful! We come from an hour away just to visit!

I have a love-hate relationship with this wonderful store. I love their merchandise, I hate how much I buy everytime I go 😁. They have a great selection of spices and spice blends, many unique home products, and a decent selection of teas in the far back. Prepare to spend a lot more time in here than you thought you would- in a good way!

I always stop in to purchase bulk spices and teas when Im in the area. Its one of the few places I can find whole cardamom pods and fleur de sel. They have a loyalty program for their teas (buy x amount get one free) that I wish they could apply to bulk spice purchases.

Writing this review after my first visit (hopefully I will stop in more).Im not quite a tea connoisseur, but I take my tea quite seriously, and I love loose leaf. The store seemed a bit cluttered, and I was slightly disappointed that it wasnt self serve (I love scooping my own tea for some reason, but I understand why it wouldnt be self serve.).I purchased 4 blends of tea, and in comparison to other tea shops I have visited, it was well priced. I tried one of the flavors I bought (Goji Berry green tea) and I will definitely visit again sometime.If you are looking for the tea shop vibe, you wont find it here, but stopping in is still worth it.

Their spices are incredible and their goods are unique for gift-giving or to treat yourself with!

It was my first time visiting and it was wonderful! The products looked to be great quality and the owner and her daughter were so friendly and helpful. I will always recommend places with fantastic customer service...I will be back!

This is a tourist type place so can be pricey. HOWEVER, they have things here we have never found anywhere else, and they are willing to special order for you when they place their seasonal orders, and only charge you the actual shipping charge. They have proprietary seasoning blends we love (you have to try Grandma Netties Pie Spice) and stock up every year when we are on vacation. We always try something that is reduced and find new favorites almost every year. Definitely give yourself time to shop downtown Holland and plan to visit here!

I love the seasoned home for all my gift giving, tea drinking and spices. They stay up on all the new and popular home goods, and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend!!

I was asked why I was buying so little peppercorns. (3-1/2 ounce bags)? The woman checking me out asked if I was using them for a game or decoration. I didnt know I had a certain quantity to fulfill. Im actually a frequent customer, but no more.

I purchased a defective sign during the sidewalk sale, unknowingly. I noticed the defect when I hung it on the wall at home. I expected a store credit today when I called to explain that the item was not marked as is, which is customary when discounting a defective item. I was told by the owner that it was a final sale and my feeling mislead was my own fault because I should have looked the item over more carefully. I disagree, even Big Lots marks their defective merchandise, defective.
