Fantastic shop and great training! If you want to learn, refresh, or pick up gear, there is no better place around!

You get individualized classes, not the wait for the group classes. This place is awesome. I wish I wouldve done my prior training here. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Charles went out of his way to help us. We were traveling through via RV to visit some of the Great Lakes. I hadn’t thought about how cold they would still be in Spring. We had come so far (from Alaska) that I didn’t want them to miss out on this opportunity. I was having a hard time finding wet suits to fit my 7 year old twins. I called every dive shop close to our route from Chicago to Weidman and finally found two (very reasonably priced) here.Charles gave me his cellphone number so we could make arrangements to meet up at his shop after hours as we pulled into town. He was extremely nice and I am very grateful for his help. My girls will have a super time getting to swim in 3 of the Great Lakes while on our trip.

Awesome shop Chuck and Terry are really great instructors they taught me alot about scuba diving and in just one summer I am now at a master diver level. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn to scuba dive from in my op ion the best instructors in MI.

I have to say my experience at Ocean Sands Scuba was without a doubt phenomenal...!Charles the owner of OSS is a very experienced diver with all the knowledge you could ever want when talking to someone about the sport scuba... I traveled all the way from lansing MI to do business with this dive shop and it is worth the trip...! They had everything i needed right at the store and let me tell you it was worth every dime I spent, and i purchased a car load of scubapro equipment for me and my nephew... cannot wait to start diving... HATS OFF TO CHARLES AT OCEAN SANDS SCUBA...!!!!!!!

By far the best dive shop in the WM area. I have been highly satisfied with Chuck & this shop after they helped me fix the problems I had with another local low class dive shop. Will only deal with them from now on.

Dont post your store front hours as 10-7 every day if that is not the case. Drove from Grand Rapids to rent gear to find a sign on the door stating they are diving on some lake. Have someone run the store front while you are out diving!
