Ive been to a lot of Pilot travel centers all over the country and I just wanted to say Michael goes above and beyond for his customers. Just did my 34hr reset here in Holland Michigan and it will not be the last time I come here. Would definitely recommend.

For the amount of money pilot makes off us you would think they could afford to put some into their wifi amplifier spend 100 to get premium wifi and cant connect to it half the time if you can even get it to pop up under wifi. Billions made yearly you can do better pilot.

First things first, Pilot has great coffee to start!! This truck and travel center is a great stop with plenty of selections inside and a Arbys. Plenty of seats. Recommended to Highly Recommended.

They should pay more attention to the food they have on the counter I bought chicken and it was cold and parched the next day I bought a piece of pizza and it was cold, please the drivers do not deserve these deals we work hard for many hours and the only thing we are looking for is be in a safe place with good food. thanks

The stuff inside the building is great.The main problem with this location is the lack of room for moving or parking big trucks which require big spaces to maneuver them in. What little parking there is. Well its problematic to say the least. The last 6 spots at the back end of the parking lot require you to back up blindly through the whole lot then blindside in. Why because once you have some trucks parked on each side there is not enough space to turn a truck and trailer around. I have no idea what kind of drugs the planners were doing when they thought this layout was even remotely functional.Parking lot FAIL!!!I will be marking this location as emergency only as its a cluster blank as there is only 1 way in and out. I literally watched multiple times as this place became gridlocked with no one able to move.I would urge drivers to use this location at your own risk. The potential for problems and damages to trucks and trailers is at an all time high for this location.

Love stopping at this pilot while traveling towards grand rapids, easy to get to!! Plenty of parking for drivers and plenty of fuel lanes!! Staff is always friendly and the store is always clean! It has a PJ Fresh and I believe an Arbys!! I love that this pilot has soup ( not all do)!! Overall a great place to stop and rest!!

Great spot to stop. Arbys is always great, the pilot always has fresh food, the showers are all large showers, and the wait time is minimal. Staff is always friendly.

Brunette short stout manager is rude. Tried to get a team shower around 8ish/8:20 PM on June 24 2021. We already purchased a shower on the app. They tried to charge us $30. We tell them that thats not right. The manager gets an attitude well now I have to void it.The blonde cashier assisting says Im sorry. She can tell the manager is irritated as well. Manager looks at her and says its okay its not your fault no need for apologies. Oh so its the customers fault huh? Lol Okay. Thats your job. Do your job? They try it again. Still $30. They try it a 3rd time. Older blonde throws her hands up and says well idk and walks away. Manager continues getting attitude. She cant get it to work. Older gentlemen beside us at the other register buys us a shower. Which he shouldnt have had to do because ours was purchased already. Manager says you can thank mr so and so for your shower with an attitude. Before this unfolded I went to arbys and ordered a smoked brisket sandwhich with no mayo. They put mayo on it so I took it back and showed the employee its wrong. She gives me a blank stare and asks what did you order. I tell her the smoked brisket sandwhich. She says okay Ill have to get them to make you another one The same manager from the register at the pilot is the one remaking my sandwhich she asks the employee what was wrong with it I tell her I said no mayo. She makes my sandwhich with an attitude as if I was an inconvenience to her. IF YOU CANNOT WORK WITH CUSTOMERS IN A POLITE MANNER THEN THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. Stop being so miserable and work somewhere else if you cant do your job in an orderly fashion. The attitude was out of nowhere. When we got an attitude back her attitude got even worse. I wish I had gotten her name. These two are completely unprofessional. And miserable. Truck drivers should be treated with respect. Every human deserves respect. Not rudeness because you dont know how to do YOUR job properly.

Manager was rude about giving me a team shower. She should find her a job that makes her happy!

I dont usually give a gas station/convenience store 5 stars, but this is a fairly exceptional place. Its clean with lots of offerings. There is an Arbys and Cinnabon. In addition there are a lot of other prepackaged sandwiches and snacks. There is also pizza and other hot foods. There is a self serve check out which was fast and easily accessible. But the restrooms were really nice.

Employees come banging on doors in the middle of the night as you are trying to sleep

When you order from Arbys, check your food before leaving. I ordered 6 mozzarella sticks and got 4 1/2, medium fry was filled half way. They take quite awhile as well.

The store seems nice enough but the showers lack water pressure and about every 90 seconds sends a brief surge of extremely hot water at you, you can imagine how much joy that is. Avoid showering here if you can

The evening cashiers have no people skills and need to be retrained. Or maybe they just don’t like truck drivers & need to find another job.

Truck stop was very clean, showers were great my only complaint was a counter person named Chaz he was very rude and condescending not at all a people person, was made to feel as if waiting on me was beneath him.

No breakfast again.

Great Pilot, a little tough for Truckers to get in and out of because of driveway setup but very nice. Ms Candis is a joy, Great customer service with a great smile. I will go back, you should go.

The good: Free parking was available at 1600. The fuel pumps worked correctly. There food that was available was good (double cheeseburger from the hot bar). The shower I had was clean.The bad: The pizza was in short supply around 1800, but that couldve been due to high sales volume. The shower attendant didnt put towels in my shower.The ugly: when I asked the shower attendant, she said we dont put towels in showers. This is the first time at any Pilot in my 12 years on the road that Ive heard this. Adding insult to injury, I noticed a cart full of towels when I exited the shower. Maybe there was a miscommunication somewhere, but that sentiment doesnt go over well.

About the poorest setup for Prime Parking that Ive seen at a PFJ. No wifi coverage and the spots are where trucks have to go around from fuel islands. Tight area for getting a spot between trucks as well. Everything else is good but to have to pay in the worst area of the lot is not ok.

Got here about 7 pm dont get the food at the counter this late (as if 7 pm is really that late). It was all old and cold.

Seems like the decent place to me. The ladies that work there were very nice. The hot breakfast was pretty good and the place was pretty clean. They have a wide variety of things to eat and drink, along with an Arbys built in just in case you want to go that route.

A gas station is a gas station is a gas station, right??? Wrong! If youre traveling with any females who would like to use a restroom, STOP HERE! That restroom looked like a scaled up in size high end hotel bathroom. And there was an attendant in there cleaning it in the middle of the day! Spotless. Tile, stone, solid doors and stall walks. Highly recommend. Your mom, wife, daughter, sister, whomever, will definitely thank you.

Very clean parking lot also clean on the inside. Bathroom was spotless. Wouldve given a five star but non of the employees greeted me when I came in. When I was leaving one of the employees gave me a blank stare and no one said have a good day or anything.

Not a bad place. There is ample fuel island space, truck parking is a bit cramped. The store has newer stuff and is spacious. Looks nice on the inside.

Im so conflicted. The bathrooms and facilities are always clean, the prices are decent, and the service fine. But the coffee urns are often empty, the hot food selection is weak, and with a Speedway right across the street its hard to make the choice to stop here unless I need to use the bathroom, or need stuff for a radio.

This use to be a great place to fuel up but of late the cleanliness has slipped and on my last visit the service was absolutely terrible. The pay at the pump was not working so I went inside to sort things out and the elderly lady behind the counter could not have been ruder or of less help. There are plenty of other gas stations in the area so I can do without pilot.

Absolutely disgusting. The trash was full the soup station was a mess and no kids no napkins and rude when told about it

It is really nice and clean truck stop. I was surprised to see worker going around and cleaning parking lot. Workers very polite and washrooms very clean. Coffee is always fresh and really strong. If you are hungry you can find some sandwiches, pizza and Arbys inside of Pilot

They allowed truck stay 30mnts or more in the fuel island

I WILL NEVER STOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! AS MUCH MONEY AS I SPEND IN DIESEL ITS REALLY SAD THAT THEY CAN ONLY AFFORD TO GIVE ME THREE PACKS OF CRACKERS!!! I HAD BEEN DRIVING ALL DAY I STOPPED BY HERE TO GET A BITE TO EAT THERE WAS NO FOOD OUT SO I DECIDED TO JUST GRAB A SALAD I WENT OVER BY THE SOUP TO GET SOME CRACKERS AND NONE WAS OUT I ASKED THE MANAGER WHERE WAS THE CRACKERS SHE SAID THAT THEY WHERE ONLY FOR THE SOUP AND THEY DONT HAVE FOOD OUT ON THE WEEKENDS I TOLD HER THAT I WANTED SOME TO GO WITH MY SALAD SHE HESITATED BUT WENT TO THE BACK AND CAME BACK WITH 3 PACKS OF CRACKERS I WAS LIKE WOW I SPEND AT LEAST TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS A WEEK AT PILOT AND THIS IS ALL YOU CAN GIVE ME!!! Generaly very clean.The Michigan Mask mandate is not enforced here at all. Maybe the management has not been informed about it, either way avoid this pilot if you are at high risk or dont want to infect any loved ones.

Lots of truck parking, but it loses a star for being tight parking. Could have been designed better where placement of parking and building is concerned which is why I give this pilot four stars. Showers are reasonably clean. Arbys in store is a plus. Cinnabun is also a big plus! Staff are always friendly.

Disgusting. The fountain and coffee area was gross garbage overflowing and no salt outside. And the older woman with grey hair was very rude to customers.

Nothing like going in and paying $23.00 for a fast bite to eat for my family and I, to get home and realize we only got half of our food. But I guess its my fault for not double checking....

So if you scanned the reviews already, yes the parking for trucks is some what difficult especially since there is only one entrance. I was here early Sunday morning and all day it was about 75% full. If your looking for a quick restroom/fuel break during peak times I would look some place else. Off peak times not so bad. I was here about 6am and they did have a small selection of breakfast items and they looked pretty fresh. The staff was excellent friendly and polite and that includes the people at Arbys. The showers were clean and water pressure was great. And newer washers and dryers. The parking lot was well maintained and pee free, however by 10pm there were a few trash cans were full but overall a really good experience.

It was close to my drop, and I do appreciate that. Parking is a little tight but not terrible, not a large parking lot. Be careful of those parking next to you.

Good place. Can be a bit busy with people taking care of things on Sunday afternoons. Cant wait until morning for the fresh Cinnamon and Carmela buns. The just envelopes you as you walk in the door.

Fueling was easy to get in and out of. Restroom was clean and NOT smelly. Cashier told me to have a nice day on my way out. Very pleasing to hear at the end of my day of driving in chicago traffic. Thanks

Clean and good selection of items to eat. The pizza is always fresh and good and there big slices. Top it off with a hot fresh cinnamon roll from cinnabon

We stopped at the Pilot truck stop in desperate need of a shower when we were several hours away from home and super sweaty after hiking in and out of a state park from Lake Michigan. We wanted to spend the evening in Grand Rapids on our way home to SE Michigan and thought we would try the truck stop for a shower, because we didnt have much to lose. This was my first truck stop shower and it was AMAZING. Youre given a code to punch into your bathroom door that is unique to you. Inside the bathroom theres a toilet, shower and vanity and bench along with a clean bathmat, towel and washcloth. There was a soap dispenser in the shower for liquid soap. This is the best twelve dollars Ive ever spent. I believe my the cleanliness and look of the tile, that the bathrooms are newly remodeled/constructed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to use this truck stop again if were ever on the other side of the state and need to freshen up.

I don’t know what her deal is but that lady on night shift needs a new attitude or a different job, she’s a rude as old lady, like what the hell..Don’t bother to scan my card don’t speak much I greet her she ignores me so I was like ok then when she was handing me my shower recipe I reach to grab it she throws it at me, both her and the other manager are some a holes fr... everyone from early shift was nothing but nice happy friendly welcomes you in and all not these too.

Brand new. Super clean. Friendly folks. GREAT selection of consumables and various truck stop gear. Too bad there is already a ton of trucker trash behind the trucks on the inside row. Not surprising though.

They get two stars because you are forced to turn right out of drive.. AWAY from expressway. theres only one exit and you cannot exit back toward 196.had to drive up the road several blocks and turn around.do not stop here if you want easy on easy off.

***THIS IS AN UPDATED REVIEW*** Down from 5 stars to 2. I used to drive OTR, and have always liked. Pilot/Flying J, but this has to be the worst managed Pilot Ive ever been to. I now have a local job, a mile from this location and get out at 6am, I have stopped in a few times to get something to eat, NO food in the hot deli case, OR on the roller grills. They tell me they dont put it out until 7am. And not at all on weekends! What? I have never seen this level of incompetent management at any Pilot before! I have been to other locations where breakfast was almost sold out by 7am. This is a nice new facility, and the staff seems to be friendly, so there is possibility here, but Pilot needs to get a manager that has a clue. In the mean time, I hope they finish the Speedway being built next door soon, hopefully they will have a manager that understands the word CONVENIENCE as used in convenience store.

Im a truck driver.. Its sleeting cold nasty weather and I was in desperate need of gallon jugs of water and other supplies for the truck..so I had bought way more than I could carry back out to the truck and the gal that rang me up offered...almost insisted on helping me carry my stuff out to my truck.. I wish I had thought to get her name..she was such a sweetheart and went over and above.. the store was impeccably clean & Ill have to report on the shower tomorrow:)

New facility thats clean & well maintained. Would give it a higher rating except when I ordered from Arbys I was told they were OUT of roast beef. This happened TWICE. Guess they dont have the mear

6/23/17-6/24/17. We stopped at Pilot in Holland Michigan. This location has a beautiful hot food area. My husband and I ordered dinner and the girl very sparingly portioned out our selection. No worries but was surprised. There were 3-4 cashiers at the counter but there was more talk than work and the line was huge. Saturday we went in to shower, not sure how clean the shower actually was but my shower towel was torn on the edges and smelled of oil. Lunchtime, the hot box was completely empty as were the soups. Not empty as if they sold everything but empty as never put out. Saturday evening, dinner time we went back in and everything is still empty as were the soup. One cashier working and a manager. The cashier said that the manager didnt feel like putting anything out and apologized. My husband mentioned that nothing was out at lunchtime either and the cashier just shrugged and said he didnt know what was going on. Ive never experienced this at any Pilot and it was very disappointing.

Nice new(er) pilot. Some spots are easy to get into but most in the back are next to impossible. Turning around in this lot with a 53 trailer when its full is impossible - unless you can really jack your tractor around.

Parking lot could have been designed better for parking semi trucks but staff were extremely friendly and professional. Store, bathroom and showers were clean, and YES I left your towels. Lmao. (Not that I ever have taken them, but the sign was funny.)

Yep great place to stop when youre traveling on the road in a big truck or even a car they have showers food lots of different things to choose from things you might have forgot things you need so yeah atmosphere is great there people are so very great nice people definitely will stop again

Nice travel plaza. Just found out pilot, flying j no longer will fly the American flag not to offend anyone, but it offends me as i served under our flag. That being said i may have to start stopping at other travel plazas.

Store is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and work hard. Only drawback at this location is they dont serve hot case breakfast items early enough. I need to grab and go at 5am. Not stand in line at Arbys.

My Husbands a Truck Driver over the Road and we use Pilots, Just Wish they still had the Dinners in them it would be nice to get a hot meal and be Abel to sit down and eat and relax for dinner

Very clean, self checkouts are quick and lots of choices for nourishments and beverages. The Michigan DOT made the entrances to this place and the nearby interstate ramps a royal mess though. Diesel price is higher than just down the street at the old truck stop.

This pilot is one of the worst designed truck stop.They want you to buy fuel and get out. Then you have trouble getting out. The entrance and exit is one. They do no lot control drivers park where they want. Managers sit on there ass dont go outside trucks are parked all over. Extremely difficult moving around. Another prime example of pilots excellent design architecture. NOTI WOULD LEAVE NO STARS BUT I CAN NOT

Parking needs to be increased but otherwise it was a very nice store the Brielle I got from the PJ fresh wasnt bad at all but a little bit burnt and the coffee is well good coffee I didnt use the Arbys not a big fan I was just looking for a quick snack getting in and out though is a pain in the rear end

The night crew (12/20/18) is the worst Ive seen of any Pilot Flying J store. The lady with the lazy eye is flat out rude and terribly slow at her job. The manager is awful at customer service. The two of them act like the type of women youd see working the cafeteria at a bad middle school. Ive been here at this location multiple times and this is usually a great store. Not tonight. Not with these jerks operating it. I have to go now, there was 5 empty showers and they just called my number after taking half an hour to clean the shower*Edit* I thought of a better metaphor. Do you remember back in school when youd get a substitute teacher and youd be hoping for either the fun one or at least the goofy one thats easy to distract, but instead you get stuck with the one that abides by school rules worse than any full time teacher and makes it unpleasant for literally every student except the suck ups? Yeah. The night manager here is the embodiment of that.

Standard Pilot just pay your money and SHUT UP or GET OUT. Have all the posters out telling you how they improved the WIFI especially the premium. At this place the premium cuts out worst than most places free WiFi. And the staff couldnt care less about it. Standard Pilot/FlyingJ.

No cell phone service inside and the wifi here is a bad joke.

Staff was friendly. Cop driving around in the lot making sure that no one stopped in a no parking zone even for a moment. Parking lot sucks. Small lot.

This place was like the other PFJs. I went to Arbys and have had good food every time. The only drawback for this place is the location and parking. It is a very unusual lot. Also it is virtually impossible to see from the highway.
