They went above and beyond to research and help assist in making the correct choices on sales of cards. Daniel spend countless hours researching and making sure a fair deal was done. Could not be more impressed with customer service and professionalism of this place. They also know their craft better than any store of its kind.

The store itself is pretty decent overall, clean and okay prices. But the customer service is definitely lacking. A employee accused me of filming the cases and gave me sarcasm. “Do you have any questions or are you just going to film the cabinets?” I told him I was not filming I was showing my girlfriend the cards behind the counter over FaceTime. The whole time I was shopping I felt like I was being watched even though I did nothing.

Awesome staff!! Very helpful and friendly. I live 30 minutes away and it is well worth the drive. Definitely check this place out. Great selection of retro titles. Good pricing on games and a good selection of magic and tabletop games. Stop in if you are in the area! Make sure to call if you are from out of town though because I drove the whole way just to find out they closed early one day.

Amazing selection of games and consoles. Went there recently and found a Sega Genesis and Sonic 1 for 35$ in total. Amazing deals and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend, especially for people looking for PS2/Original Xbox games

Not what it use to be, it became less about retro games & more of a magic: the gathering hall. As a business perspective it may have been good but its no longer a place for me to shop. Their selection of retro games has been significantly decreased, its like theres more tables for playing cards than actual game racks. The quality in their games are below average & mostly in poor condition. If youre looking for a place to play Magic: The Gathering or possibly other board games then this could be for you, if youre a retro gamer seeking games I would not recommend it.

A wonderful store with very knowledgeable staff, and a great place to come for tabletop role playing. The facilities are very spacious and well equipped. The staff helped me get hooked up with a group to learn 5th edition D&D, and the group was very welcoming and helpful for a new player with only experience with very old editions (first edition AD&D from the 80s). Had a wonderful evening playing with a small group on a very creatively modified published adventure. If I didn’t live in Chicago, I’d definitely try to join the group regularly. I have not found a store near me with anything like the service found here.

I drive 30 minutes every week past multiple other game stores just to come here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they work to create a store environment that reflects that. When gaming events are held, its a great place for both beginners and competitive players. The best gaming store Ive been to. Period.

It was really cool seeing old games and consoles (and some newer ones) in one area! Plus, some of the consoles (from what I remember) had less of a price then when it has originally released, which was awesome! They also had a variety of board/tabletop games and a couple shelves of Funko Pops. Overall, this place was great!

Im at this place at least once a week. The place is well kept, clean, and friendly. They go out of their way to encourage and support the community that has grown up around them, that comes in to play and have a good time day after day. And we keep coming back because its a wonderful shop with wonderful staff.

Its a clean store and if you are into magic then this would be a great store for you. However, Im not into cards Im into video games. This place is definitely not great for the gamer. Many more options for the gamer at the other Holland stores. Staff was very nice here

I came here with my brother-in-law yesterday to look for a used GameCube. The sales person offered a discount as the game cube was not operating at optimum volume. There was also a lot of boardgames and invitations to events at the store such as magic the gathering and dungeons and dragons. If I lived locally I would probably attend this place more often as they were very accommodating and friendly.

As a magic the gathering player, I love this place. It is a great place to just come in and hang out with friends, playing magic for several hours. The Holland, MI store is an absolute pleasure to shop for magic cards and video games. I may not spend a lot of money, they have gotten to know me and have been extremely friendly. Its a great place to shop and play.

Were to begin? After getting hooked on magic the gathering. It’s like cardboard crack. I took a trip here to see what they had. I was introduced to Dan. This gentleman is a well of information and helped me out a lot with constructing the right kind of deck, to don’t waste your money on this just because it looks cool. And being very patient with a newbie like myself. Which was much appreciative considering this game is like Alice going down that huge rabbit hole.On top of all that they have for Magic. They also have more tabletop games. Prime example D&D which is very entertaining to watch. They carry video games as well which is nice. They are very interactive with their customers. From playing a game with them or just chopping it up about what’s being released in the future. They host all sorts of events from commander a format of MTG(magic the gathering). To modern and standard game play. And the people that have been there for a while are very welcoming of new players. So thank you Dan and Chris for all y’alls help. Much appreciate it. Started going to regular game nights here when I lived in Holland, now that I live in Byron Center I still make the trip every week since the community is one of the best. Store is always clean, prices are more than fair, and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Used to enjoy coming here, but theyve put in air fresheners in all the locations that cuase me to have migraines. The smell is very strong like cigrette strong and it clings to everything they sell now.

Was there on 5/22/2018. I wanted to buy some yugioh cards by the box. I had to wait like ten minutes while some guy who looked like he hadnt showered cared more about a role play game going on at the tables to help me. When he did help me i asked how much a box of the cards was. I was told that it was $80 for a box. The box sells on walmart and amazon for $22 plus shipping. Like come on they were the cheapest yugioh cards out that you sometimes see at dollar stores. The other boxes were the same deal, $80 in store but $55ish online. When I told the employee he just said thats ok some one will pay it over time. Kinda a bad business model to hang on to merchandise until someone ponies up big cash. Why not sell to me like $10 more than i can get online. I know they didnt pay $80 for the box. My suggestion for everyone reading this is to go to disk traders, cd exchange, or simply ebay/ online stores. Put this place out of business. Selection sucks, bad service, and bad business practices. Wont go back thats for sure, its a ripoff. Oh and feel free to check the video (store owner) i was there and you can see i am telling the truth.

Bought a used PS3 controller from them and it was completely gummed up with crud, I didnt use it tell after my warranty was up so I couldnt bring it back. The button would literally push down and sometimes not even come back up. I took it apart and cleaned it, and you could tell it was clearly taken apart before and some inside parts were broken. I claim to test these before repackaging and selling them, but thats clearly it the case. Was disappointed in this transaction.Also I personally havent had an issue with employees, but have witnessed some interaction that were very rude and unprofessional. Have seen them talking down to customers as if since the customer doesnt know ever detail about a system or game they belittle them, try to make them feel dumb. Its was disturbing. In all I will probably stop going to this store.

I did that with Conker:Live and Reloaded! I came back the next day and it was gone and havent seen another since!

The guy I spoke with today danthe heavier set fellow with short hair and glasses who also claimed to be the manager which I find doubtful because no person in their right mind would hire someone who lacks basic soical skills only to be occompanied by a pompus manner.
