I’m saddened that this store is closing. I went in to see what they had and met the owners. The gentleman helped me a lot since I’m just starting out in photography. He made suggestions and helped me out immensely. I’ll try and stop by one last time if nothing else but for the conversation. I listened to his career as a photographer which was inspirational. I wish them nothing but the best in the future.

I called because I was having problems with my Cannon camera. I explained the issue over the phone and was given an answer to my problem. I did as the gentlemen said and fixed it myself at home. This was awesome! He could have said bring it in and we will take care of it and then sent a huge bill. The sales person did not do this he was honest and helpful. This is great customer service. I was put on hold for 10 min at the other place I called. If I have problems again Im taking it to Riley, I know they will be honest with me.Thanks!

Watched a female customer be belittled when asking questions about buying a camera. Guy seemed very aggressive and uninterested in providing answers. Store is messy and uninviting. I didnt stay because he made it uncomfortable.
Went into Riley Camera 6-14-17 to purchase part for camera, $2.99+tax. Owner/clerk was engaged in conversation with another customer totally unrelated to photography. I received no acknowledgment whatsoever. Not until I had waited at least 5 minutes when another clerk appeared from the back did I receive service . It isnt about the time. It just seems poor business practice and very rude not to acknowledge a potential customer regardless of the amount. Ill still shop there, its the only shop in town.
I had a spot on my lens and they spent a ton of time trying to fix it and eventually got it out. They didnt charge me a thing it makes me want to give them business in the future.
I called needing a part and they said they had it. Drove 20 minutes to get to the store, bought the item, got home and realized they gave me a battery instead of a charger. I called back and they didn’t have what I needed. They charged me FOURTY dollars for a battery. I had to cancel a photo session and it made me look really unprofessional because of their mistake.
Will be closing permanently about June 5, 2020.
I do not recommend it at all
