I had an Extremely Wonderful visit. I had first went to another Bridal store and left in tears because of the lady helping me made my experience not fun. I went today and got to work with a young lady Named Mazie and she made my experience the best thing ever. She was wonderful and makes your experience what it should be. I loved the dresses and the store was wonderful

We had a really terrific experience shopping for mother-of-the-bride and grandmother-of-the-bride dresses. The selection was quite extensive and working with Elaine and Ashely couldn’t have been better. They were so patient and so helpful with everything from zippers to colors and ordering to ideas about alterations. I can’t recommend highly enough (and the experience doesn’t hold a candle to all the ordering online and returning we had tried, of course).

The employees are so sweet and kind! Mazie was so helpful with helping me get the dresses on and off! She was able to answer any question I had. The exerpeince was overall good. I chose three stars because the variety in style of dresses was not huge. Most of the dresses I tried on were far too large for me as well. I dont think they had enough smaller sized dresses to try on. A lot of their dresses were too similar in style as well. I was also a little sad that my mom and MIL were not able to look through the dresses with me or pick any out. Overall, it was good. Not bad by any means!

I had a good experience when I went bridal dress shopping for my friends wedding. Until this pandemic happened. My friend had to move her wedding back 5 months due to covid 19. I happened to unexpectedly get pregnant. I haven’t done a single thing to my bridal dress and only wore it once in store. I called to see if it was possible to exchange sizes since I got pregnant, also while we’re in the middle of a pandemic and nobody could predict this. But there’s absolutely no options for me that they can do besides “you can buy another dress”. And the fact some groomsman tux’s came back not fitting correctly (not measured correctly) and will receive the new ones the day before the wedding? Ridiculous!! This has been a hard year and especially for brides. It’s sad to see my friend even MORE stressed for her special day. I personally wouldn’t ever shop there again or recommend it.

Had a good first appointment with Alison, but had to come back because she forgot to take a certain measurement. I came back again to try on a dress I liked and get that measurement and had a poor experience with Kacie. She came off rude and honestly just wasn’t helpful. I asked if she could write my measurements down and she told me no, not sure why I can’t know my own measurements? Super odd to me...

Awesome place!! I am Mother of the Bride and I bought the first dress I tried on!! Im so excited. I would highly recommend Caela Scott Bridal to all. My daughter bought her dress here and we are 60+ miles away. Well worth the drive.

I picked out a dress and was told that she checked with her seemstress and it could be heemed without cutting off embroidered detail. She said she sent a picture of the dress to her. She absolutely lied knowing it was impossible to heem the dress without cutting off detail. I would have simply picked a different dress if I knew this was the case. Embroidered Appliqués had to be moved up costing me over $500. They offered no solution. I would NEVER recommend this place. Complete nightmare

I recently went wedding dress shopping at Caela Scott, and I found my dream dress there! Their selection is phenomenal. Their service is phenomenal. I made an appointment (recommend this), and the staff member who helped me was so friendly, efficient, and insightful to finding the right kind of dresses to try on. As she was helping me, she noticed when I would be uncomfortable with the dress based on my body language with my problem area. She actually found The Dress for me!! Kudos to Caela Scott. Five stars all the way!

We had an amazing experience! We came in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment with hopes to just look around and get some ideas. Elaine was great and was able to fit us in to dressing rooms in between appointments! I found my dress and bridesmaids dresses within 2 hours! Our wedding is coming up quick and Elaine called and asked about rush orders available and was able to pull off everything we needed. Very Happy Customer! Ask for Elaine if you can--she made the experience!

Before my appointment at Caela Scott, I had probably tried on 40+ dresses. While I found a few I liked, they just werent the one. My experience at Caela Scott was nothing short of amazing. My consultant was Elaine and she was extremely patient and honest. Because my wedding isnt until next fall, we werent planning on purchasing a dress for at least another six months. However, I found the one and it just so happened to be a discontinued piece. Elaine did not push me (and even helped me into other dresses after seeing me reaction in my dress). I ended up going back the next day to buy it. Because I had dealt with rude, pushy consultants at other shops, it was a breath of fresh air and I was more than happy to give Caela Scott my business. I will also be going back for bridesmaid dresses when the time comes. Thanks Elaine and Caela Scott team!

NOT happy. After trying on my bridesmaids dress that Caela Scott measured and ordered, I realized they measured me two sizes too small...of course they won’t accept returns/exchanges. When I called, the woman on the phone was in disbelief that they measured me wrong and also never apologized. She told me to come in and try it on for them. When I did they told me it would be fine and Deb from alterations could fix it. I made an appointment with her and she assured me I would be able to actually zip (and breathe) in the altered dress. I let her know the night of my final fitting that I had lost weight. I tried the dress on, now it’s tighter than before. I can barely breathe or move in the dress. The wedding is less than a month away. If they measured me correctly in the first place, I wouldn’t have to write a bad review. If they were professional enough to speak on the phone, I would call. But that’s not the case.

Today was my first day wedding dress shopping, ever. I brought my mom, future mother in law, sister, and two nieces. I LOVED THIS STORE!!! Three reasons why I had a great experience:1) I had brought a binder of dresses that included styles that I admire (from the internet and bridal magazines). I appreciated how the bridal consultant asked to see my binder and she took the time to look. She asked questions and seemed genuinely interested in figuring out my style.2) The bridal consultant was SUPER helpful and friendly. I loved how she took each dress off the hanger, placed it on the floor, and all I had to do was step into the dress. She helped me lace it and clip it when necessary. She was really focused on my appointment and not distracted by other future brides.3) The dresses were arranged by size. Sure, you can order the dresses in other sizes but this was convenient to me. It was easy to search through the dresses!

The wedding party I was in got all of our tuxes from there, from what I seen and experienced it went smoothly, and the owner drove out to the venue to bring forgotten items to a groomsman even.As far as price, I think I would shop around for my own wedding a bit more, but service here was impressive in my opinion.

After searching for a wedding dress for months, I went to Caela Scott and was very happy with all of the dresses they have to offer! It is a beautiful shop! Everyone there was very attentive and helpful. After loving several of their dresses, I purchased my wedding dress from Caela Scott and could not be any happier!

I picked up my mother of the bride dress I had ordered approximately 4 months ago yesterday from Caela Scott Bridal for my daughters wedding in 5 weeks and I was very disappointed., to the point that I was crying when I left the store. During the appointment in which I placed my order I felt it was a mistake from the beginning. I am 510 and weigh 120# and a size 0/2, while the staff was telling me what size I needed to order, I questioned them over and over. They insisted I was a size 6 dress size. I understand that there is a different size in formal wear, however, I know that during the process of measuring a person for the correct size, measuring over clothes can not be accurate. They did not have dresses for me to try on that would reflect any other size than a 6 in the same style as I chose. The 6 was too big in the store, but they insisted that I measured that size. I felt pressured to sign the non-refundable contract and against all of my better judgement. They said they are the professionals and I need to trust them. BIG mistake!!! I tried my dress on yesterday and it was HUGE!!! But as the staff member said just get it taken in. It is so big that I now have to totally reconstruct the dress and the whole look, design and overall appearance will be altered into a look I do not want. My options for the next 5 weeks before my daughters wedding is to either pay an enormous amount for a dress that looks horrible or I have look for another one. I payed $200.00 for a dress I cant wear and I cant even fathom what the next cost will be due to the closeness of the wedding. I will not recommend Caela Scott Bridal to anyone! They do not stand behind their dresses, they send you on your way to figure it yourself with no apologies.

This bridal store was absolutely amazing! They have a great selection of dresses and the customer service was outstanding! I went to several dress stores in the area and this place blew the others away! I have no doubts about my choice to buy my wedding gown here!

Cathy was amazing! This was our second trip and brought all the bridesmaids with this time. She was so helpful and made our experience perfect! However, the older tall blonde woman behind the desk was not very nice! First she told us we made the wrong appointment, and that it wouldn’t take that long .She was very short with us and kept telling Cathy she needed to hurry with us, although we were still within our appointment time. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Caela Scott, and would recommend to anyone!

I was not impressed with Caela Scott. They did not ask my at all what I liked in a dress so after I picked a few -ones I was not sure if I would even like- they kept picking more for me that we’re not my style. One of the ladies was very rude to me, and made me feel very uncomfortable about my size. I’m not a small girl, but I’ve been to places where I felt beautiful do matter what I tried on. They kept pushing size that were at least 4-6 dress sizes too small so nothing fit. I realize that they can adjust and order them to fit me, but the way they dresses were fitting it made me very uncomfortable. One of the ladies specifically working made me feel the most uncomfortable about my body. The girl that was helping me was nice and just trying to be helpful, but I still felt body shamed.

I loved every second I spent here. I didnt want to leave. As one of the girls put it I could live in this store! I felt like one of a kind. It was my first time trying on dresses, and after 6 dresses I found the one I could see myself in. I didnt want to take it off! Loved the way I was treated, felt like a princess. Thank you tons for making me smile, and tear up when i saw myself in the perfect dress.

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress and accessories at Caela Scott. The staff was super helpful and made me feel very welcome. They had a great selection of dresses and all at affordable prices. I have to admit, when I walked in I thought everything was going to be out of my budget because the store itself is so beautiful. I was relieved and completely shocked when they told me none of their dresses were over the $1500.00 mark. I would recommend Caela Scott to all the bride to bes out there. I loved it!

I gave this only a two star review. I am not really one to complain but I feel I was mislead by all the 5 star reviews. When I arrived at the salon that I had an appointment for, the front desk didnt say hello or make me feel very welcome (my entire bridal party said the same). They said they had a ton of appointments and it would be a wait of about 15 minutes. That was fine but a little odd. So we checked out the dresses in the mean time. They had VERY limited options. They only carry a couple of designers lines there & they dont have a great selection. My appointment sales rep was super friendly & a sweetheart (I forget her name), no complaints there. I was told my appt was until 3pm but was kicked out at 2:30 because the next appt had arrived. Just very odd with the scheduling and disappointed in the selections. Salon is very clean though.

I was so excited to go to Caela Scott with my maid of honor to find the bridesmaid dresses for my six girls... Once I got there, I started looking at the dresses and was approached by a staff member. They asked me what I was there for and as soon as I said I already had my dress and was looking for bridesmaid dresses the whole atmosphere changed, they got the dress I was looking for right away but then our first consultant diapered and never returned to help us...then as my maid of honor stepped out of her dressing room to show me the dress, another consultant had her bride she was working with take our dressing room while my maid of honors clothes were still in it. I found a different consultant and requested a different dressing room and we moved to that room. While looking for dresses other consultants told us how we were in the way of their brides and that we needed to move.My fiance got bumped into by another consultant and when he apologized to her she turned, looked at him, said yeah okay and walked away. We got the dresses we liked written down by the girl who was helping us, but every time we asked her for any advice or opinions she just said the dress was fine how it was; and thats how she liked it. My trip there was so disappointing, especially because i was beyond excited to go there...*In response to the owners comment to my review, since I cant reply in a new post.*That is not the point of my review. Youre saying its okay for others to take dressing rooms away from guests while their stuff is still in it just because they had an appointment? Thats completely ridiculous. The proper way of doing that is asking us, since we were standing right there, if we were finished with the room before just sending others in our dressing room. I have gone plenty of places without appointments and was treated exactly the same as those who had appointments, if not better. I was just stopping in to look at what your store had to offer...I completely understand the need for appointments to get more one on one interaction.. but not having one DOES NOT justify how we were treated while in your store. It completely blows my mind that you can justify that and say how thats okay to just treat walk ins horribly just because they dont have an appointment. Thats really sad.

Loved the experience! It was my 2nd appointment during my first day EVER of looking for a wedding dress, and I said YES to my dress here! Great environment for a Bridal experience! My group of girls and my little brother were treated wonderfully! High or lower budget, its a great choice! (PS dont ever go to Davids Bridal) :)

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Caela Scott-I will not return, nor will I recommend them to any brides. I live in Grand Rapids, but choose to support a locally owned business in Holland (which is the city in which I grew up in) and choose to order my bridesmaids dresses at Caela Scott. That was a big mistake- after ordering my three dresses (within the timeframe I was told by their employee) I was notified that a “rush order” was required in order to receive the dresses in time for my September wedding. This also came with a $120.00 fee, a fee in which I was not notified about until AFTER Caela Scott charged my credit card (I was never given the opportunity to make this decision on my own). I asked that Caela Scott pays the rush fee, as it was no mistake on my doing and they rejected my request. Plain as day- I’ll put this one in the books as some of the worst customer service I have experienced.

Love the gals that work here. So helpful and kind. Weve come in on appointment and without and were treated amazing. I dont plan on ever getting married again, but I would recommend this shop to anyone getting married! Love these gals.

Hands down, this was the best bridal shop I visited to look for my wedding dress. The staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I got very overwhelmed at some other shops with pushy staff, but couldnt have been more at ease at Caela Scott! I would definitely recommend this shop to future brides-to-be!

I cant say enough how appreciative & relieved I am for this Caela Scott, I worked with Tavia, she was extremely sweet, patient and was very attentive and knew what she was doing. She stood back, let me and my girls do our thing, and if I needed something to add, she was right there on top of it! I have looked around at other places in west MI, and was turned off by the pushiness of some sales reps and once I let them know my budget how immediate there willingness to help went by the waste-side. Not with Tavia, she was absolutely the best, and extremely helpful. I actually chose the dress she gave me to try (her suggestion) and it was the one! I am so grateful for this boutique and their staff. Their prices are amazing and carry exceptional designers to fit with any budget! I do suggest going on a Thursday, as it was not as crazy busy like a Saturday. The second time I was there, I found it and it was totally opposite I was looking at!

Not impressed with selection at all!!! Also, owner was very rude and set a negative tone for the whole appointment. Wouldn’t let my mother grab a dress off a rack to show me while I was in the dressing room and immediately told her that I wouldn’t fit the dress and couldn’t try the dress on.... obviously I wouldn’t fit in it by why couldn’t I hold it up like I was doing all day at other appointments....The day was going great until we walked into this place. Will not be back.

Granddaughter shopped for and found formal for a pageant. The ladies were extremely helpful, professional and patient. It was our first time shopping here and it was a wonderfully memorable experience.

Went with a couple girls to order a dress we saw online. Got there and felt very uncomfortable with all the bad looks we were getting. Asked for the dress and they said it would take months for it to get here. Accepted the fact that we werent going to get it on time, so we asked to see other options. Was told they didnt have anything for us and to try looking at Debs. I was so disappointed and embarrassed.

I said YES to the dress. Caela Scott was the first and only bridal shop I needed to go to. I felt that they had a great selection. The employee that helped my group was Ashley; she was fantastic! She was so patient; I struggled to figure out what I liked and tried on a ton of dresses and she never made me feel rushed. She worked quick and efficiently. I only picked out a couple of dresses to try on and then she picked out some based on what I was liking about certain dresses. She ended up helping me find the perfect dress that was under my budget and that is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Great overall experience; I would recommend Caela Scott to any other bride.
