This is a great small bookstore... the kind that makes you wonder if Amazon is really worth it. When you are in downtown Holland this is a must stop, even if you are like me and have barely read much lately due to how much awesome content there is available to stream. They have all the magazines too and a beautifully curated selection of puzzles.

I love that we have a local bookstore and my family always finds some great reads. It is always easy to get a book ordered as well!

Small, local shops have to compete on customer service. There’s just some basic improvements that any store can implement: 1)greet people with a friendly “hello” when they enter, 2)ask if they need assistance, 3)customers physically present take precedence over those on the phone - “please hold while I assist this customer”, 4) thank the customer for their purchase and wish them a nice day. Pretty simple. I hope Readers World can implement any one - but preferably all - of the aforementioned improvements. For my part, I’ll start shopping on abebooks or thriftbooks.

Have enjoyed shopping at this book store for years while visiting Holland. Today my son was impressed with their sports magazine selection and purchased a few.

Love visiting Reader’s World when we are in the area. Yesterday was my 2nd visit. I always find great reads here and staff are very friendly. Also easy to order online or place holds to pick up later!

Pretty good selection of not only magazines, but Newspapers and Books as well. There is much to be found for all age groups! Kids love the store as.do adults.

I appreciate their willingness to hold items they have in-stock or order what I am looking for! Ive been impressed with how quickly orders come in. They also have a very relevant and rich childrens book selection. I appreciate being able to find important and unique books for our kids.

My family has been making our annual Holland, Michigan trip for many years and only now found this awesome bookstore. They have a nice selection with many socially diverse and inclusive books that are so important in todays society. They also had a great selection of graphic novels which my kids enjoyed as well as many other options. Readers World became an instant must stop shop for our future trips.

I love shopping here and supporting this business. Its important to shop local!!

Amazing experience. They had exactly what I wanted and the staff was kind, helpful, and new exactly what I wanted. The store was also well organized and it was easy to find books that I might like. Highly recommend.

I dont think much has changed here in the past 25 years... which I like. While much has changed with phones, etc., visiting a real store to look at real books is refreshing. :)

I rarely get to go into an actual book store anymore but when I am in Holland I make sure to stop by Reader World. My kids love it and the staff is friendly and helpful. That have a large selection and I can always find something I am interested in. It is always nice to read an actual book every now and then instead of my kindle.

I brought my 11yo son in to find a detective/mystery book. Hes never been interested in this genre, but needed to read one for school. We asked the lady who were there to help him pick one and she was fantastic! She enthusiastically grabbed a bunch of different books from different shelves, giving him details about each. He decided on two and hasnt put the book down since! Thanks for a great experience!

What an awesome bookstore. Friendly service and an awesome CURATED selection of the best and most interesting books. The sales person helped my son discover a favorite new series by asking him some questions about the kind of books he enjoys and enthusiastically led him to the series while describing it for him. Additionally, fantastic magazine selection for car buffs (and great auto books too).

Really nice clean book store in Holland, Michigan. The lady working there was incredibly nice, especially to our kids. For being small, they had a great selection of books and a lot of magazines. Everything was very well priced.

Hasnt changed in years. Thats a good thing. Has good selection of new, classic and West Michigan material.

Dont be put off by the size. Chances are they have what you want. If they dont they can usually get it in a couple days. Very knowledgeable staff.
