Very clean and nice business. This was my 1st time here, went here because someone I know works there. I was happy I could request him to work on my vehicle. I am so pleased with my repair & it was in my budget . As I was sitting there getting my vehicle serviced, I couldnt help but listen and appreciate how they talk and communicate to their customers. The way the they explained the customers vehicle situation and in a respectful manner. Explaining in a manner for her to understand and not make her feel small. Very knowledgeable detailed information. I have a long term history with the shops in this area and Christian Brothers Automotive is definitely a shop to consider if youre in need of maintenance and repairs.

Great service. Knowledgeable staff and they take time to explain what is happening. One important note: they tend to be a bit pricey compared to other places—all places markup the cost of parts (they need to make a profit somehow!), but CB seems to be quite a bit higher than other shops. That said, sometimes there’s a good reason to be paying more.

I cant say enough great things about this place!! The starter went out in my car, and we had it towed to Christian Brothers. It was our first time there, so we didnt know what to expect. Everyone there was super helpful and knowledgeable, making me feel a lot more relieved!! Once they got my car, they gave me frequent updates and let me know if there were any other concerns that had regarding issues with my car. Ive been to a lot of repair and service shops in the area. Christian Brothers is easy to schedule and appointment and they are incredibly easy to work with. They send estimates of every individual suggested repair in one link to your phone, you can approve or deny services, and they keep you updated throughout the day on the status of your repair. Quite possibly the best in town, certainly the best Ive ever dealt with. Fair pricing and knowledgeable staff.

Over the years Ive had service performed by multiple garages but CBA is by far the best. So many times Ive been left wondering if the people working on my car actually knew what they were doing or were they just guessing. Not the case here, I was left feeling like they know exactly what they are doing and will get it right the first time. They explained the test they performed to arrive at a solution and were correct every time.. They were friendly, fast and there were zero surprises.

This was my 1st experience with Christian Brothers. The mechanical attendant was very courteous and matter of fact with detailing the service I was to receive. At the end of service, she was very through in explaining upcoming service recommendations. The value was excellent. I was able to take advantage of the Facebook special offer. While I waited, I had access to complimentary water, pop and chips. The leather seating was comfortable while I waited. I recommend this service! I am glad I decided to give them a try.

I brought in a vehicle belonging to a family member for diagnostics and the customer service provided by Wendy was amazing. Wendy was professional. After the diagnostics was complete I received the report and estimates. In writing it concerned me because the technician wrote “let’s see how it drives after” i wasn’t comfortable with spending nearly $2k just to see how it would drive. I had no problem spending the nearly $2k if it would drive the way it’s suppose too. Either way, after looking up the parts I needed; the parts needed totaled only $50-$80 total and this shop quoted me for just 4 parts $715 which absolutely insane. I know as a business owner you have to make money but inflating it that high is super no bueno. I definitely will never be back.Reply to Cb: absolutely not true! I not once asked if the repairs would fix the fault codes because the codes had nothing to do with why I brought the car in. I brought it in because of the smoke. Everyone save your money and time and shop elsewhere.

Great experience working with this crew. They were pretty dang busy and took me as a walk in and got my oil changed before a long trip we were taking. I just would like to say, how forever greatful I am for Christian Brothers and their staff. I received a call from a friend, she told me about the single moms promotion going on. I called and they set me up with an appointment. Not only did they do well over $400-$600 worth of work for free. They shuttled me home so I didnt have to wait in the parking lot.My kids and I are in the process of moving. My son is about to get his license and I didnt know how I was going to get my car fixed before I gave it to him and purchased one for myself.This is one less thing I have to worry about before winter and Christmas gets here.Thank you, again for helping my family and I. It’s difficult to give less then 5 stars, but I think it’s important to share my experience.First, everything that other reviewers say about communication is spot on. The shop is really good at keeping you informed in the process every step of the way.The staff, specifically Caleb, is very kind. They’ve been good to my daughter who attends Hope College out there. It’s been difficult trying to help guide and coach my daughter on how to get things done being 3-4 hours away. The kindness and communication are so essential.The three stars comes into play with all the diagnostic fees, which essentially is the technicians trying to figure out what is wrong with the car, so labor costs. But not just labor to fix it but labor to figure it out. Her car has over 300,000 miles on it. We are not looking to dump a ton of money into it. We just need it to survive through May/June. Christian Brothers has a higher labor fee then most of its local competitors, and I’m starting to believe that they may also be less experienced, resulting in additional time to diagnose vehicle issues adding up to additional dollars spent to fix a car.Today I spoke to a tech regarding the vehicle we have there. He started off explaining what was happening, why he did what he did and why he needs more time. I asked some questions and shared with him that the shops near our home don’t operate this way, charging hours and hours of labor fees to figure out what is wrong. He quickly became agitated, and surprisingly started to speak in a condescending manner. “So they all just work for free then?” The attitude progressed so I stated that I would like to have her come get the car and we would be taking it elsewhere. He said it was going to take them awhile, around 2 hours, to put the car back together??? It was not yet 2pm and he wasn’t sure it would be done before they closed at 5pm so she could drop it somewhere before the weekend. That’s just silly.And this is why I think the techs lack experience and it feels as if they are learning on the job and the customers are paying for them to learn.

Was gonna do half a star but it wouldn’t let me…one star seems too generous. Did the work I asked them to…kinda. Then was going to charge me $2,700 for what they claimed was mandatory work but was just recommended maintenance.

I dropped in because I was in the area and just realized I had a headlight out. They took me in right away, diagnosed my issue (bulbs), fixed it as much as they could and directed me to where I needed to go to fix my headlight issue. Nice shop, nice guys!

Had a check engine light come on during vacation and engine problems. They had it diagnosed within hours and we were running just after lunch the next day.Very grateful. Reccomend highly.

We took our car here. They were helpful and sent us a lot of texts and updates as our car was being worked on. They gave us a list with the problem we came to address, problems they found that need immediate attention, and things that should be taken care of, but can be done in our own time. They were helpful.

It was just an amazing experience. They took pictures and showed me exactly what was most important to fix and sent me a detailed report. The price was competitive and they were kind and quick!!

They got me in right on time. They have a nice waiting area. I was offered a snack. They noticed I needed new wiper blades so I got them installed too. The price was more than reasonable and when I got in my car afterwards I saw they left a nice coaster and bottled water for me too. I will use them again.

I had an emergency with my vehicle. Never been to this place before. I only stopped in bc all the other places closed at 5pm. My oil level was low. The gentleman there helped me out. He filled my oil and didn’t charge me for the service. I will definitely spread good words about them! What an amazing place. I appreciate them so much.

My son is a student at Hope College and the alternator in his car died. I was worried that a shop would try to take advantage and overestimate the job. I am so thankful that I reached out to Christian Brothers Auto. From my initial contact with them, I felt this was the best place to send my son/car. Wendy was so helpful throughout the entire process. They went over the entire vehicle and highlighted some other things that require attention, but never pushed to get the work done. The automated system that sends out text updates and the detailed vehicle review (with pictures) was awesome. Options were presented for alternator replacement and the vehicle was fixed in 1 day. Overall cost was just a little under what I expected (and on par with a quote I received from my local mechanic). I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car repaired.

Christian Brothers consistently proves that they care. I’m more likely to go to CBA even if a service costs more because i trust them. They tell me things they’d suggest fixing but there is never ANY pressure. It doesn’t feel like a giant sales pitch. I dread when my car has a recall because i know that i have to visit a dealership instead of going to CBA. i highly recommend Christian Brothers!

After breaking something on my car, they did correct the problem and assured me that everything is taken care of. The mechanic and Wendy were very helpful and assuring.

This company has integrity! I came in for a brake inspection after I experienced some squeaking for a day or two. They told me the pads and rotors were still in good shape and it was likely a manufacturing phenomenon that would “wear away.” They could have easily upsold me on new brakes, but they didn’t. I found a place I trust.

Be aware that you may get one quote on the same exact service over the phone and they may double it when you drop off the car without even starting the work. Thats what happened to me. If you have employees who dont know what service or parts the cars need, maybe you should think twice before hiring them or at least prevent them from giving the cost over the phone.. This is not my mistake. All of you seem to try to blame it on me. The point is once again - I gave you all information you needed over the phone, you gave me the price, I brought the car over, then you doubled the cost of the service.

My car was pulling hard to the left. I stopped in without an appointment and they got me right in to check it out. The problem could have posed a safety risk. They kept it overnight, received parts and had me fixed up and safely on the road the next day. They were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this shop!

My experience with Christian Brothers Automotive in Holland on Baypark Drive was exceptional!!! I took my car in to have an inspection of what needed done. They had my car back to me by 3 PM to pick my son up from school, and they had my estimate to me by 4 PM that same day. They ordered the parts needed and had them delivered the very next morning, I dropped my car back off at 9 AM and they had it ready for me with a new radiator, an oil change and new front brakes and pads by 2 PM!!! My car is driving like a dream now!!! PS...they even have refreshments in the lobby and a shuttle to return you home while they work on your car! Plus, they text you throughout the day so that you can keep up with their progress on your vehicle. I was and I am very very impressed and pleased! All my future automotive needs will be met at Christian Brothers Automotive!!!

What I appreciate about CBA is that they send you pictures and videos to show you the issues, they send you the report, and then they discuss it with you over the phone. They were extremely patient and informative. Shout out to Wendy and Caleb for helping me out with all my concerns, and for Dan for doing a superb job on my car. We had a not so great experience with a service provider who did some damage to my BMW. Christian Brothers got us in quickly and were able to fix the problem with little notice before a holiday weekend. They also gave us a ride home while they fixed it. We will definitely use them in the future!

Great communication, did a full diagnostic report on vehicle when I needed a new alternator. Car was ready less than 24 hours later. Also offers a shuttle to/from the shop, very very helpful.

Prices were high for oil change when i could go to the dealership and get it cheaper.If you didnt call in advance for pricing and or service the price goes up HIGH.Customer service could have been better.

Amazing experience all around! Everyone I talked to was helpful and polite. They were straight forward with prices from the beginning. You get a complete inspection report with pictures and explanations. They also send you the estimate where you can approve and deny everything online. They were an amazing family oriented company. The man in charge made my children, our family puppy and myself feel very comfortable while we waited in the lobby. I brought my daughters Subaru in for a break service. They were courteous, informative, and they went out of their way to make sure i knew what needed to be done and why. While the car was being serviced two different employees offered to get me a bottle of water, help me with wifi ect. The bill was fair. The service was excellent. They lived up to their name.

The place is clean with friendly professional workers. I just found a new place for my car service. I’ve been driving with cracked windshield and they directed me where to have my windshield fixed and indeed it was awesome at a fair price. 👍

They were nice to and very informative. I was told the tech could not get my drivers side window up. I informed them that door needs to be opened to use the window...no big deal.I got back in my car and my window button was gone....just gone so now i have no button to get my window down.

Way to expensive I know everybody is hurting from covid but damn almost 1300 bucks to replace 2 fuel lines we are all struggling any work needed go to Mikes moble they gave me a price of 570.00 out the door parts are 300 bucks the rest is labor if I was christian brothers I would change the name to greedy auto but I will say the are very friendly folks over there

My car would not shift good in this cold weather. They explained very thoroughly what I needed to do to have my fluid changed in my transmission. They only took about a half hour longer than what was expected. And the price was within $10 of what was quoted to me which is okay. My transmission shifts beautifully in the cold weather as well as when its warmed up and I have more power and watching my tachometer I do believe my RPMs are lower so Im probably going to get better gas mileage. They took good care of me and treated me respectfully. I will use them for future repairs that I do need to get on my car as soon as I can get the funds to take care of it.

Complex problem, so they took their time, found that the battery was bad, and they replaced it under warranty. After problem continued, they spent multiple hours trying to find the electrical problem, which they did ( main relay). Repaired it and its been driving well. Very happy with Rich, Caleb and the team.

My daughters car decided not to start while in Holland. After trying to have the battery jumped to no success a towing service took it to CBA. Wendy did a great job of putting me at ease, since I live 4 hours away. She was in constant communication. Text messages were sent when the tech started looking at the car, when the inspecting was complete and a detailed report of issues of concern. The car was repaired in hours instead of days. Very much appreciated all the care that was taken for my daughter and her car!

Really needed our car repaired.We are from out of town. C.B. provided us a tow cheaper than AAA and got us back on the road and headed home with our 15 plus year old senior dog to ride comfortably in his bed in the back of the van. Dishonest, incompetent and just plain rude. They went ahead with work that was never authorized and then tried to make it sound like we HAD authorized it. They failed to do a diagnostic to rack up the bill and we still do g have a running vehicld

Went in to get a price to replace a resonator on my F250 Super Duty. Staff was very nice, and polite, but the estimate they gave me was WAY overpriced. They wanted over $300.00 to replace the resonator which by the way is a $62.00 part, and they quoted an hour labor. Even if the part was marked up that still didnt justify the labor cost. I wont be going back there anytime soon.

CBA is A true blessing they are customer service oriented very quick to respond and take care of exactly what you need to have done and they offered a beautiful complimentary shuttle service while you were waiting for your car to be repaired!! This place is the tops!!!

They took care of the issue in a very timely manner and kept updating me of their progress. I’ve never had that type of timely communication from a business like this before. So. I was happy to know what was going on.They could have charged me for an entire hour. But chose to charge me for half hour because of the nature of the problem and their ability to figure it out quickly.They also provided a detailed follow up plan for maintenance. That was very helpful as well.

CBA, did a great job on short notice. I let a friend work on my car and they did not do me any favors. CBA looked at everything, gave me a thorough analysis of the work that needed to be completed and saved me from having to have some re-threading done on the engine. Needless to say, I will not be using any backyard mechanics from this point on. I truly got what I paid for when CBA was done working on my car!

Received a free oil change as part of Engedi Church City Serve. It was greatly appreciated due to the fact that I am a single mom, and funds are extremely tight. When I arrived for my appointment, I had less than 1/3 of a tank of gas and was planning on getting gas after getting the oil change done.
