One of the best thrift stores on the island. Very clean and well organized. They dont put junk or stained/ripped clothes on the racks for sale like a lot of others do. Great prices, great selection. Definitely worth a look around!

I come from queens as its bigger than the on one Hempstead. Place is a hit or miss!! was here with my spouse and our puppy a 13 pound shizhu that does no shed I was asked if she was a service dog I said no I was asked to leave as they do not allow dogs due to allergies. Again I told her she does not shed. Another woman came and told me the same thing at this time my parter walker out with our puppy and I paid but, I am very disappointed that they enforce that yet they dont enforce wearing mask 🤔🤬

I just wish they would open their changing rooms. It’s not about COVID anymore, they just realized it helps their sales when people can’t try things on before they leave the store

Great prices and excellent selection of mens clothing. It does not get too crowded on the weekends like other stores.

Most items are over priced. The used school binders were the same price, or more, than buying the item new. I had thought I found a good deal on an item, only to be told by the checkout person that it was mispriced and I need to pay more! All other stores honor their prices, savers did not. They tried to double the price but after I spoke with the manager, they added a quarter of the price. I should have left, but I needed the item. One star for the manager, minus 2 stars for bad store policy, minus 2 stars for a disgusting restroom (worse than any virus out there!).

Now hold on …. When I first discovered this life “saver” … I was in love with this store. It was fun to hunt through the endless rows of clothes and find holiday decor and all for good prices- I mean, let’s be honest it’s all second hand stuff. I don’t know how long I’ve been away but I went in there last week and found that their prices have sky rocketed to CRAZY!! $7 dollars for a worn out sleeveless shirt that someone else wore once or even a thousand times and discarded. Now, I know times are tough but these stores are in place for those of us who can’t afford to shop in Kohl’s or Macy’s but would still like to outfit ourselves and children in clean, comfortable clothing. To wrap this review up- if your gonna pay Savers new prices- please go to Marshalls or TJ Max first- same prices but at least there you’ll get name brand, never worn good quality clothing to be proud of!!

Excellent. Picked up 2 paperback books for $8 and a motivational plaque for our newly painted hallway. Oh and a nice necklace. Its not always a hit, but its worth a visit every so often.

I just bought a whole new wardrobe! 15 name brand t-shirts, 8 long sleeve/3/4 length blouses and light sweaters, 6 name brand leggings (VS, Lucky, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, etc) 3 pairs of jeans (new!) A pair of black knee high boots and I even got the man 3 name brand jeans and a pair of Tommy Hilfiger deck shoes!! All for $150!!! Love this store!! 😍

Once again I dropped off 2 bags of clothes and the staff looked at me like theyre doing me a favor or Im bothering them. Going to donate to Salvation Army in Patchogue from now on.

Have gone here for 5+ years. Miss the freindlinest of ths staff . The last 3 times bagged my own stuff. The stars are for the cleanest and organization.

Its still real hard to find people that work there . But they are pretty good with the masks and u can find some decent clothes

Excellent finds in here. Very big selection from clothes to shoes (got a pair of uggs for $9!) to Dishes and pictures. I really love this store. However, they need to do something about the bathroom. Disgusting with no toilet paper, and urine all over the floor. It’s a shame. But other than that, I love it!

Very organized they had sanitizing station at the front door and they made sure to have markers tell us to stay six feet.

I dont give this store 5 star because is the worst store ever bad management and bad manager, high prices for us a customer and the worst part is they have rude customer service workers I went there last month and I was in line for 10 minutes the customer service person was on the phone and the manager didnt care because she was on the phone to and talking to another manager when we the customers come first. so you can have your money and pay your building, the light, and pay for your stuff,and pay for everything you need to pay.As worker make a salary of $13.00 an hour thats $940 for every two weeks plus they dont give a raise for every year like we are supposed to get. Us normal workers we get a raise or being a good hard worker for the company we love and care about the work place and manager. I am a manager that supports our community our lovely stuff and managers so our company can improve so we can get the customer feel comfortable buy and feel welcome when you to a fancy restaurant and get a wonderful stuff that cares about you. A retail sale manager make around in a years between 45,000 dollar and 78,000 dollar but a cashier make around 20,00 dollars a year without a raise with the raise is 30,00 dollar in 6 year but instead given the raise to the employees they give the manager a bonus for been great manager for the company and focus on the companys like clean the bathroom, clean the floor when is duty etc I dont recommend this store if you going shopping there I feel you bad for you, I feel heartbroken when I employees told me that they treat then like they nothing like a puppet and they dont care about them well and they have to working here for money so survival for they family to bring them home .

My daughter loves the bargains she finds, often new clothes with tags on.

I visited this store Monday evening. The store is very big with a wide selection of clothing, but many items were overpriced. The staff was not polite. I spent about 15 minutes in the store, not one person greeted me, smiled at me or asked me if I needed help. The cashier didnt greet me when I was checking out. I wont be coming back here anytime soon.

Savers is the best! Gently used clothing and many other items, at great prices! The stores are very clean and well stocked, and they seem to get new inventory daily. I just bought 5 name brand sweatshirt/active wear zip up tops, and 2 pair of active wear pants for just over 40 dollars, and each item is in like new condition! I just saved over 200 bucks, and got the exact brand name clothes my kids wear (that I usually pay full price for) Ive also purchased like new kitchen pans for 8 bucks that go for 80 in Macys... visit Savers and see!

Thrift store shopping is not for everyone. However, if it is for you, then Savers is your kind of place. Everything is gently used and priced to sell. My tip for you is that you can bargain a bit with the staff to get a lower price especially on the furniture items. Also, if you see something that you love but you cannot take it home on the spot, ask and they will hold the item for you until the next day. Check back frequently as new items arrive daily.

You never know what youre going to find here. From kids play clothes, to gently used furniture, to Christmas decorations. Love just wandering around. The book and movie sections are my favorite.

Great place to get a bargain on second hand stuff. Sometimes you find a deal, other times not. Stock changes daily so its hit or miss. Prices are usually real good on furniture and small household appliances. Some of the clothing is brand new and discounted by over 1/2.

For a thrift store this place is clean and well organized. They sell all the common thrift fare, as well as new items usually seasonal like Halloween. Very big selection and they offer rebates when you donate items. They have four dressing rooms.

Very good store layout. Easy to find what you are looking for. Staff is courteous and helpful. Great bargains to be had.

The way they approach you about not having your face mask not on properly(not over my nose,) IS MORE LIKE A PRISON GUARD NOT SOMEONE trained in customer servive.

Staff are friendly. I feel like even the customers here are friendly. I got two faux leather jackets for 7 bucks each. Highly recommend. Possibly my favorite thrift store.

Supermarket-sized space with an overpriced pedestrian selection. $8 for used shirts makes Target a viable alternative. Selection used to be better but now racks and racks of cheesy flannel. Better selection at the salvation army on Main a mile south.

Its ok, cleaner than most thrift stores; however its a bit overpriced compared to other thrift stores in the island. 😤

Just as any thrift store, lots of clothing and accessories for cheap prices. Usually get my Halloween outfits here. Just got some maternity clothes here, not a huge selection which I excepted.

Its okay its hit of miss really they had better prices a few yrs ago I had gotten good deasl and even a ed hardy shirt for 25 bucks great deal for that .but I had gotten boots .. 18.99 like new ... ok I bought them I didnt even walk out of the store completely an I noticed they have a big slice in them .. I go back in and the woman said I must have did it we dnt put idem like that on the racks ..I wanted my money back or even a store credit after 40 mins arguing with her she gave me a store credit .

The goods are deficient they are very repetitive at the entrance to the main door there is a very demanding young woman with the shopping carts one feels pressured with it and for the record no one there is going to ask rather to buy I recommend the commack savers better
