Pretty sweet selection. You can get a nice gift here… lots of wine and beer to choose from. One of the better places in the area.

I had planned to purchase some wine at the store for a lunch at home but a freezy weather kept me at home with my newborn. I asked a fast delivery and they made it! Just awesome! And their selection is good. One of their concurrents is closer to home but I will definitively stay with them.

On multiple occasions while in the store Ive seen a tall man in a plaid shirt not wearing a mask and yelling at other employees. The store itself was fine but the atmosphere was unsafe and uncomfortable.

Good selection of beverages. Reasonable prices. I recommend ordering online and picking up in front of the store. Easy in and out process.

I have been in the uptown Sparrow twice. Last weekend an employee was freely walking through the store and close to customers without a mask. I was already in the process of paying when I saw this and I called it out to one of the other employees who made the man put on his mask.I was back in Sparrow again today and while shopping the same employee was again walking through the the store without a mask. This time I immediately walked out.I’m either remarkably lucky or Sparrow is brazenly reckless and irresponsible.

Beware of wine ratings posted for special batches. Often push mediocre wines by high ratings. Come prepared and select wines based upon your own research.

Pretty decent size selection in comparison to your usual bodega sized liquor store.

This place is solid and customer service is great. Clean stocked to the brim and always has a great selection. Def stop by if you pass it on your way home.

I thought that the staff from which I tried to get information was too busy with their computers to care. There was a wine that interested me that wasn’t priced. I checked it on Vivino and the price should have been $20.95. They wanted $39.95. Yes, they know their wines and how to overprice them. A rip-off and a bummer. Go to Cork a block away where the staff will bend over backwards to help you, order stuff they don’t have, have a better selection at fair prices.

Great liquor store! Craft beer selection is spot on for the beer lovers, especially their bomber selection. Really competitive prices on their beers as well. They claim they will match any Hudson county advertised price, so you cant go wrong. I cant say much on their wines though, I dont know anything about it. But I cant tell you theres 4 huge isles and the back wall dedicated to wine alone, so Im going to say its quite the selection, even if it may be a hair over priced.

Talk about a huge selection... Sparrow carries a many types of wines, liquors and craft beers. As a noob wine drinker, the staff was very helpful in pointing to a few good recommendations. The parking is a bit tight to manage, but worth coming here if you are in the uptown area of Hoboken.
