A very good array of health foods & whole health products and they are well stocked. Very happy to have found them. In my immediate neighborhood there’s no health food store so while it’s a trip in the car, it’s worth it.They even had goat milk kefir which I had been having trouble locating elsewhere.

This store is wonderful! Well stocked with high quality, organic foods, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We often order for delivery, and Eric is terrific in helping us choose a replacement if something is out of stock.

This is beyond the best supermarket I’ve ever been to the prices are impressive. I’m always been able to find my favorite plant based products. All the workers there are always so friendly. It’s truly my favorite place!

I usually have to go to at least three different stores to get all the natural food store items I love but this store has them all! There is terrific variety throughout the grocery section and the supplements and skincare section are especially wonderful.

Love this grocery store! They have everything a health conscious person could need - and I am on a limited diet (no dairy no gluten no meat) too, and I am still covered! Best advice when it comes to purchases supplements and homeopathic items too! Lovely staff. Forget Whole Foods!!!

Friendly Staff, SURPRISINGLY decent prices(even compared to larger stores like Aspen which is down the street) and good quality items.The items I love getting here most are honey, peanut butter, coffee grounds, flax/chia seeds, coconut oil, and essential oils. The prices on these are unbeatable. They have a fresh peanut butter grinder in the back that is loaded with organic high quality peanuts and it is the BEST peanut butter Ive ever had. Give it a try. I load up on it almost every week or so.Great selection of sauces / spices / gluten free items (when getting ingredients for dinner gatherings / healthy sugar replacements (coconut sugar, agavi nectars, etc).

I loved this store - their sale prices were excellent. If I lived in the NYC area, I would have bought far more than Chia seeds, which were on sale. I loved their vast selection of goodies - items I havent seen at other health food stores. The next time I visit my daughter in NYC, were going here again. Of course she has to go here now and then anyway for her job - lucky! This is a must stop if youre shopping on Washington Street.

This is my favorite go-to store for all things related to a healthy lifestyle. The selection, sales and customer service is great! Ive been shopping there since 2013 ish, and love how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is. I now live a good twenty miles away and still travel there regularly!!!

GREAT store!!! Ran all over NJ looking for 2 specific supplements, and nobody had them. But Organic Basic Food had BOTH, and at a very reasonable price. In addition, they had many other items for my stringent detox diet. Wonderful selection, good prices, helpful staff!!! (And I am not easily impressed, LOL.)

Good place to shop for unique health conscious items that you can’t find elsewhere. Bought kombu, kuzu, gluten free flours, Kombucha, vegan cheeses, seitan, and so much more there. I like to call it my hippy store. They also have really good premade/cooked tofu and seitan that you can just heat up which is nice for on a pinch. Im a huge fan of this spot!

Ive shopped here for years. Great selection & if you watch for sales, you can stock up on necessary healthful shelf stable (like coconut oil) items w/o breaking the bank. Also, staff is friendly w/o being imposing.

Ive been living in Hoboken for 15 years and have been a costumer at this store for at least the same amount of time. Never had a problem, but today the story changed. I was treated very badly by one of its employees. The Asian old man was extremely R U D E, cutting me off short and not responding my questions about essential oils, that I was trying to buy to use on my beard. He even insinuate that I may have a disease when I was trying the tester on the skin of my hand. It was a very bad experience since Im very kind to everyone. He was very lucky Im a civilized human being and just lost a good costumer.
