Amazing service with great staff. It was the best experience from booking the appointment to purchasing a frame all around. OD was great and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and explained everything in detail. Adrian and Brioche( sorry If Im not spelling it correctly) was super helpful.They even offered me free ratina imaging which usually cost $40.Simply amazing people!

Wise Vision is the best eye care provider in/around the NYC area. The examinations are always thorough, and while I can be a bit of a baby when it comes to eyes, Ive never felt uncomfortable. The retail team is great and truly care about getting you into the right pair of glasses. Plus, they always keep a budget in mind as opposed to other shops Ive been to which focus on upselling.I moved away from Hoboken last year and miss a few local shops. Wise Vision is at the top of the list.

Its an awesome place if you want to get lenses or eyewear, staff is very polite and helpful, Eddie replied very quickly on all my questions and I placed the order even before others replied on my emails. Lenses were ready for pick up in 3 days and the price was twice lower than the quote I got from another supplier. Very happy with the service!

Got the job done. but dont go in an emergency as they take weeks to get the glasses ready.the customer service is great... until youve paid, after that good luck getting them to answer any questions including when theyll be ready or getting a copy of your prescription. theyre the type to send you a receipt instead of your prescription to make it inconvenient to go anywhere else. very cheeky.definitely not cheap.

This was my first time being here and I went based on reviews and the reviews were on point. This is a great place, the doctor was phenomenal very informative, and extremely friendly staff. I got contacts and glasses and they broke down everything to see what would be the cheapest option. I originally was scheduled to be seen at 12 but because my husband was being seen at 10 am they were able to move me up . And we were both out of there by 12. Definitely recommend this place

Without fail, in the few years I’ve been going to Wise, I’ve been met with unfailingly competent, efficient, friendly, I-didn’t-know-service-like-this-still-existed service. Never an eye-roll or an attitude that you’re being done a favor- even when you’re being done a favor. Just the opposite: everyone I’ve dealt with has been professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and down-to-earth: no phony over-solicitousness, either, for which I’m very grateful. I’ve recently moved out of state and their good service followed me up to Maine with a final shipment of complimentary lenses they could just as easily have “forgotten” about. I’ll miss having Wise nearby- I so highly recommend them.

I’ve moved 30miles away and still make a point to go to them every year. Amazing staff (very few changes in my 6 years) they always make sure I get everything I need plus some. I’ve had glasses/contacts for 20+ years and would/have recommended them to everyone I know.(side note, I’ve also never given a review before but that’s how much I like these guys/ladies)

Wise has been great. Last year they made me an emergency pair of glasses (I almost always wear contacts) after I got pinkeye. I just recently went back to get an eye exam and they we also great. They are a very friendly local business and I highly recommend them.

The staff was super friendly & answered and explained every little thing with the utmost detail. The offices were clean and everyone was extremely professional.

Walked in to see when I could get appointment for eye exam. They shuffled some things and told me an hour but instead for me right in as other customer was late. That’s optimal efficiency. Eye exam was photo of retina and pressure test. Was fitted for new contacts and they gave me some to try rather than my old ones. Very good service and friendly people and fair price $200 for eye exam with contact exam

We haven’t been to this place since we were lil kids. I couldn’t believe it was still there. The staff was so so nice & the dr was great!!! It’s was such a friendly place I’d definitely go back I definitely recommend the Optical Vision store.

Went in there with my cousin to look at frames and a miserable girl named crystal gave us the worst attitude. Stay away from that place. Very bad customer service.

My daughter and I bought had appointments. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The doctor took his time with us answering all our questions. My daughter was fitted for glassed and they also took as much time as she needed to decided what pair she liked. I couldnt have been happier when I left the store.

It was my first time there yesterday and customer service skills were 10/10. Everyone who I spoke with (the receptionist, the lady doctor and the salesman who helped me pick out my glasses) were super helpful.I have to say as well that the doctor not only was she nice but educated me on many things and it was super cool. I would recommend this place 100%.

So I was sitting at my friends house and my sister hands me a wise vision cloth, mind you through out my entire life I never really used a cloth to clean my glasses cause I never had one but once I cleaned my glasses with this cloth it literally took my breath away like I was really able to see. 10/10 RECOMMEND

Visit was quick and seamless. Doctor was friendly, informative, and patient in listening to my concerns/answering my questions. Staff was helpful in pre-screening for the appointment and adjusting my glasses. On previous visits - the staff was determined to help me find the frames I was looking for that didn’t seem to exist. They even did some research after I left and e-mailed me additional options.

Wise Vision is a local family business, where they treat you like youre local and family. :) Eddie the owner is kind and wonderful and it shows not only in your interactions with him, but also in his staff whose faces are still the same in the 5+ years Ive been going. The eye doctors Ive seen have changed 2x in my history as a customer, but each time Im impressed with the new doctors knowledge of my eyes and history and now just trust Wise Vison will always attract the kindest and Wise(ist) doctors for the practice. Would highly recommend Wise Vision to my family and friends. :)

Loved coming to them for my annual eye exam. They were incredibly pleasant. More importantly they were incredibly thoughtful with walking me through the rebate process for contacrs and giving me documents and an envelope to request for the rebate. Ive never had such a seamless and wonderful experience at an optometrist. Im definitely going to them again (even though I live in Manhattan)

My husband and I had a contact crisis, and we moved away from Hoboken so we were reluctant to go back for contacts since Im pregnant and may be high risk. The owner was so helpful and understanding and ordered the contacts we needed, realized they would take a while to get to us, and found a way to get them to us quicker. This was really above and beyond service and we really appreciate it! Our experience in the store was really great too.

I took my boyfriend to get his eyes examined, the staff is extremely friendly and patient, God knows he took hours to pick out his frame. I walked in looking for a new pair of frames.. Mine were old and I was over due for my eye examined anyways. At first glance I noticed the wide selection of frames through out the entire store! They carry brand names such as Nike, Ray Ban, Burberry, Gucci and many more! I was immediately greeted by one of the staff member who was very friendly. He answered all of my questions in regards to pricing and insurance and I was able to get an eye exam the same day. After trying on dozens of glasses I finally picked one out that I truly loved! Firstly, we had tried to make an appointment together but were unable to be fitted in, was short notice, then a short time later they rung and said they could fit her us in together. Wise Vision has the best staff and most attentive customer service. I had my new glasses less than one month and accidentally bent the frames. Javier fixed the glasses within 5 minutes. While he was fixing them, the staff assured me if he couldnt fix them, theyd replace them under warranty. Glasses fixed, good as new! Great, great customer service & satisfaction.

She helped me pick out a pair of cute glasses and was very patient with my indecisiveness. They have a great selection of glasses, and really make sure your glasses are the right fit for you (with adjustments that you will be invited to come back and get anytime free of cost!!). One of the most pleasant experiences that I have had getting glasses. They were very friendly and helpful during the entire process, from the eye exam to picking out frames and lenses to receiving my pair. I had specialized needs for very specific features for both the frames and lenses, and with their many options I was able to get exactly the type of glasses I wanted. Not exactly cheap, but I would not call them expensive. Their prices were in line with what is the norm these days for a good pair of glasses. They also accept some insurance plans so that can reduce the price as well. Overall I was very satisfied and will be returning.

5 star caliber service from when you walk in to when you leave. Eddie and his staff Crystal, Angel, Amanda & Javier are all wonderful, and care about your best interest as a person. An example of this, Wise Vision & Hearing did not accept my Vision Insurance plan. They were honest about this, gave me pricing on what they could do to lower the costs (with rebates, etc.), and told me what steps Id have to take to find a quality provider covered by my plan. They handle business the way business should be handled, with an emphasis on the person. Thank you Wise!

Very seriously, the best customer service of any business I know. The staff moves quickly, so Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Theyre always kind and respectful, they remember you, and do everything they can to make sure you get what you need ASAP, and at the best price when considering options with insurance.They even have a one-year guarantee policy for contacts. If you order a years supply, but for some reason, you run out a month early, they give you enough contacts to last you through the rest of that time, no charge.They check in to make sure everything is working out with a recent order, and theyll spend personal time trying to research options that might be better for you. Unlike other businesses, its not a matter of what they HAVE to do for you, its a matter of what they CAN do.

Have been here thrice and never disappointed! I highly recommend Dr. Larsen and Dr. Kaurs practice. You can ask them any question about you eye health and they will help you understand and when it comes to lenses, frames Eddie and staff are a gem! They work with you to find the best eyepiece and their policies are very flexible and relaxed in case of returns/repairs.All major eye insurers accepted.

I like this place, but they really try to sell you on buying contacts and glasses through them, even if you make it clear youre only there to get your eyes checked. Other than that, Ive never had any issues.

The last time I had my eye exam was over 2 years ago in Jersey City and whatever could go possibly wrong, went wrong and I was out over $600 between glasses and contacts. I finally had saved some money to update my glasses and went to Wise Vision in Hoboken. I had such a great experience at Wise Vision: everyone was friendly and professional; they got me in and out asap; and they have a great selection of glasses. I will definitely be going back there for my eye exams.

Family owned and operated business thats been in Hoboken for 3 decades. Doctor Larson is amazing as is the rest of the staff. My high Rx sunglasses came out awesome!

Not so WISE!I walked in and asked if they could help tighten two pairs of glasses that had become loose. The unwise man behind the counter made me try the glasses and checked what needs to be fixed. Then he asked me, If I had purchased the glasses from them? I said, no. Then he says that he can fix them for me but they may break in the process. I thought to myself what a poor business strategy! I guess he was not listening effectively, intently. I was asking him to help fix my glasses and he was talking about breaking them. I asked him again why would they break? He told me that he cannot guarantee they will not because I did not buy them from them. I thanked the man for his candor and walked out of the shop laughing at the foolish encounter. Had he fixed my glasses, and I would have paid him for it, I would have gone back to them to buy a pair someday.I hope they can build a truly WISE vision and hearing someday!!

I haven’t had my eyes checked for five years and decided to visit Wise Vision for both new glasses and contact lens. I immediately realized that I chose the right people to take care of me. I was first seen by Crystal who couldn’t have been more professional and friendly. She advised me on what my eye insurance covered and aided me in choosing the appropriate frames based on the thickness of my lenses. Then she proceeded to perform the usual vision work up which was quite comprehensive. As a professional, I was very impressed. Afterwards, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Derdova who couldn’t have been nicer. She was very impressive in her deameanor and expertise. She performed a very comprehensive exam including checking for various potential problems since I do have severe nearsightedness. The optometrist was excellent and the end product (glasses and contacts) Im quite happy with. The administrators are pretty reliable, too. But the sales staff are disorganized, forgetful, and sloppy, and not always attentive, though they are well intentioned.
