Bad service. Staff is rude. I ordered a caramel Frappuccino and it tasted or looked nothing like it. It was just milk and Crushed ice. Today when I went in, I was waiting for my order and I could see flies on the display food. And they are always short of food or some add-ins.

Dont go in the mornings. The process for picking up drinks after ordering in store is mixed with the mobile orders. We got our food before our coffees. Asked 2x where our coffees were and they just said we needed to wait (already had waited 10 min.) Waited another 20 min. And just left without our coffee.

This place will always have a special place in my heart and it genuinely saddens me how poorly the baristas are constantly treated. This is by far the busiest location I’ve ever been to and the baristas always seem to be doing everything in their power to be as efficient as possible. Great, friendly service and overall good drinks. - ( This place is NOT for the impatient. )

The slowest and worst stocked startbucks ever. I usually end up placing my mobile orders 35 minutes in advance (during non peak hours) because they just dont work fast. I have to speak over the counter and ask for my order because they dont yell out the names when theyre done. They just leave them on the counter behind the glass where you cant grab them.Nothing is ever in stock and they dont tell you on the app. So when you get there they let you know your order isnt ready. OR the complete opposite happens, the app shows every single thing is out of stock...Just slow and unorganized compared to every other starbucks Ive been to that seems to be high-energy.

I order a decaf coffee!! And they bring me a regular coffee!!! When I tested it and something about the taste didnt taste like decaf I asked and they said: we dont have decaf ! So we put a regular coffee! If you want decaf you have to wait a few minutes I got so mad they didnt even realize that they made me drink caffeine.A few minutes later they brought me my decaf with a gift card.

I would like to thank the staff at the 12th and Hudson location,.they are very helpful especially.Sharon and Sam .The others are ok too,.they need a little more training but im sure they will get there.We have been to numerous locations but this one is our favorite.Thank u so much to Sharon and Sam for all your hard work.You guys go above and beyond to make the customers are happy and get the best from Starbucks. I never really leave reviews but when I saw how the manager is with the employees I felt too uncomfortable not to say something. I love this Starbucks and its employees but the current manager is terrible and shouldnt even have this job. He makes his own employees uncomfortable and is not qualified to be a manager from what I can see just by visiting. You can clearly see when he is around he makes his employees visibly on edge and usually they are very nice. I dont understand how he could treat his employees in such an inhumane way after reading another review of which I assume is the same manager. I would give the baristas 5 stars, but the manager deserves a big fat -1 star.

Terrible register person, talks over customers and doesnt get any of the drinks right, literally walks away from my friend in the middle of his order to check if it was time to close. Ovens were off early which is not allowed in store policy, and one barista didnt read a drink order properly. This is a recurring theme of this store. Bad service and bad attitude, doesnt even give you the right thing and hurries you.

Id like to give a special shout out to the young lady with the pink eye makeup, there was no pistachio syrup to put in my drink so i told her to press a button in order to put a new flavor & she put me on to the cinna. dulce syrup in the honey oat milk latee. THANK YOU !

Every time I go to this exact location there is always an issue. Whether it’s the staff being extremely rude or something wrong with my order it’s always a negative experience. I work in the area so I unfortunately have to come to this location and literally every time I come in it’s honestly a terrible experience. They openly have signs stating that if you would like a straw simply ask so that’s what I do and every time they yell at me for asking for one. If you don’t want to give out straws don’t offer them and have a sign saying to ask for them. I would like to get my morning coffee without receiving some sort of snarky remark from one of the employees. I am usually not one to write reviews but since I am a paying customer and go everyday I would like just one good experience there. Also just a reminder we are in a pandemic so social distancing should be enforced but unfortunately isn’t at that location. I highly advise that the location should advise its staff to be not only polite but just practice basic customer service. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Today there was a fire in the adjacent building to the Shipyard Starbucks location. Instead of allowing his employees to safely exit the building, the manager required him employees to stay inside the BURNING BUILDING to finish the drinks they had been working on, showing that he values the companys profits over the very LIVES of his own employees. If youre someone that values supporting a safe and ethical work environment, dont visit this location. Baristas were not allowed to evacuate until the fire was ON THEIR FLOOR.Someone will one day be seriously hurt under this mans careless supervision. I for one will not be sponsoring this sort of abuse. The manager needs to learn to value human life. No profit is worth the weight of someones death on your hands.

Not exactly sure why but service is very slow. The workers seem to be busy, but when I order something like a scone, and I told them that it does NOT need to be heated, but somehow it takes like 8 minutes to get a cold scone into a bag and hand to me. Not at a busy hour at all. 5 people behind the counter working. Go figure. Somethings not right with the workflow process.

I love the pumpkin spice. This is a solid location. People are always friendly and greet you! they are usually pretty fast with taking care of your order.. the selection is as youd expect from a Starbucks and so is the food quality! drive thru can sometimes get backed up and then it causes a little bit of a traffic mess other than that great place easy to get to.I will definitely go back and can recommend it easily.

This place is turning to the soup kitchen on the Seinfeld, employees are rude, almost felt like they are shouting at you, and if you don’t like it, well that’s too bad cause they don’t care. Coffee is good (most of the time); the employee just needs to drop the attitude. I stopped going for a couple of weeks to see if things got better but it didnt changed much. The coffee and food is ok, you just have to be ok with people shouting at you and telling you when your order is ready in a passive aggressive manner! There are a lot of local businesses it’s so coffee in the area that’s pretty good. I suggest you try those and skip this particular Starbucks location.

I walked in asking for my default type of coffee - while in Starbucks-, I was about to pay with the app in loading mood when Cory suggested I should try something slightly different but similar and for better price. I’m not usually the one to write bad reviews but it’s extremely slow service. Everytime I go in there it’s atleast a 15-20 minute wait to get my order and it’s always missing something or messed up somehow. The girl that wears the book sock on her head is VERY rude that when I walk by and see her I’m sure to order on the mobile app so I don’t have to deal with her nasty attitude. If it wasn’t so close to my job I would never step foot in there again. #desperatetimes

I love this place and it’s location. It’s so close to one of the best scenic view of Manhattan. I always get my coffee from here and walk by the Hudson River with the spectacular Manhattan view. I never had trouble with finding a free parking spot available here.The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

I’m a very big fan of this starbucks and have been coming here for years! The staff is pretty cool, but their manager Xavier is horrible. The staff always seemed stressed out whenever he’s around and he doesn’t do anything at all to help them out when it’s needed. 12th deserves an updated store and a new manager if you ask me :/

Not all of the people who work here are very friendly. I understand when there is a pretty long line why coffee should take a long time. However if there are 4-5 people on the line, it really should not take that long. Im convinced that Starbucks did not learn from their diversity training because some of the staff still do act discriminatory. However a one day training and a lawsuit settlement will not change the core of what company is.

The staff is really nice here. Unfortunately, about half the time when I do a mobile order for a food item I arrive only to find ask me! on the order sticker. When I ask, Im told that theyre out of the food that I ordered, and then I have to either wait for them to prepare something else or go through the refund process. I dont know if this is an issue with all Starbucks locations or if its just this one that doesnt keep their inventory up-to-date in the system, but its pretty frustrating.

Im extremely disappointed to share the experience I had in this Starbucks. I took my puppy to the vet close to this Starbucks and stopped afterwards for a cup of coffee. I had no idea that Starbucks had a no pets policy. Me and my friend made our order and sat down with our coffees when two women came up to us and yelled in our faces about it being unhygienic and possibly illegal to have a pet inside the coffee store. I looked at the server alarmed who just rolled his eyes at us in response. We got so mad, we left. This is truly unfair. The staff should have said something. Would you let anyone at all walk into the cafe and yell at other repeating customers?

Beautiful, cozy store with mostly awesome staff. The short guy thats usually there in the mornings during the week usually gets my order wrong, though. Hell put whip when I asked for none, or hell forget the mocha drizzle I asked for. Its a regular thing. Once he put my breakfast sandwich right on top of my cold drink, so when I picked it up, the sandwich had cooled down and had sticky drizzle all over the wrapper. Shout out to the really tall guy and the other guy with The Weeknd hair though, you guys are awesome!

I thought it was a friendly place, but then I found out there is plenty of contempt just behind those ‘good morning smiles’ ... I wanted one of the baristas there to change out the half and half, because it was low and the steel canister was warm to the touch... usually this means that the contents are about to turn... so I tried to be discreet about it probably being unsanitary, so I just said “ it was low” ... Then!!! He made a big scene about how much there really was in there by pouring out a cup full of warm half and half in sarcastic way “ Is that not enough for you? “ he said. I just walked away.I just wanted some cold half and half that wasn’t sitting around all night at room temperature... disgraceful!

Im constantly amazed at the level of professionalism and enthusiasm Starbucks employees have when servicing a customer. I have never had an issue with any other location until today when the two employees during the night shift were giving an attitude to all the customers and kept reminding people they were going to close in an hour and every 5 minutes and repeatedly talking back at people for asking for certain ingredients. They were more concern for their closing duties than servicing the last customers that happen to cross the door and even deny customers of certain drinks because they had already cleaned the equipment before closing time. I understand they wanted to go home but they should not have treated us they way they did. Specially when one of my friends asked for milk, after one of the girls had forgotten and continued to clean the machines, and replied with I heard you the first time, and i will get it right now, cant you wait? We did not raise any complains or anything since they were both in the same mindset, attitude, and tonality didnt differ from each other. We politely thanked them and departed, but we were extremely disappointed and would not come back to this location.

Easily the best Starbucks in town. The one on Newark St by the path was the best like 3 years ago but ever since Angelica started running this store on 12th, it has improved greatly! Some of the other customers are d*cks, in fact they may have the worst customers of Hoboken but the cleanliness and efficiency of the store is great. They have the majority of knowledgeable baristas in the area even though some of the newer staff... Ehh. Hope this helps!
