Highly recommended!Robert designed our kitchen’s custom cabinets with integrated appliances. It was a tough project that was a great fit for his extensive experience and skill set.A smooth project isn’t always they best indicator of a person’s character. You also want to judge someone by their response when the going gets tough. After all, no construction project goes 100% smooth. In our case, 99 out of 100 steps went smooth, except late in the project when one of his vendors made a very small but costly mistake. The vendor tried to push back but Robert insisted that it be corrected, and everything made to my exacting specifications. That’s the kind of person I want on my team.I wouldn’t consider using anyone else for my future cabinetry projects. Five stars!
My Wife and I have renovated numerous Condos & Houses over the last 12 years, and Robert Smith of Hoboken Cabinetry has to be the most professional, competent and genuinely nice sub-contractor we have ever worked with. In addition to that, his coordination between you, the cabinet manufacturer and your GC, is over the top, and every detail is worked out. This is paramount when it comes down to fine tuning your appliances, fixtures and cabinets to all look and fit perfect. I will never buy cabinets through any other vendor in the future.
Working with Lama to redesign our kitchen was great. We have a small space with not a lot of wiggle room and Lama listened to our ideas and incorporated them while designing a beautiful and functional space which utilized every inch possible (necessary for apartment living!). She is prompt at answering questions and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!!
Worked with Lama, who was very patient and helpful. The countertops came out great. They delivered on time and as scheduled. Will recommend them to my friends!
Working with Hoboken Cabinetry was a great experience. Robert and Lama had infinite patience for my questions, worked within my budget, projected an accurate timeline, and managed the process of renovation with me from start to finish. I would highly recommend working with them.
We worked with Lama and Hoboken Cabinetry to remodel our kitchen. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with from the initial design consult through the end of the project. They answered emails and phone calls timely and were very easy to stay in touch with. We worked directly with them for the cabinets and counter tops. They recommended a contractor to do the work and liaised directly with him throughout the project to answer his questions and ensure everything was on schedule. They put us in touch with their appliance dealer and recommended various tile stores. We contracted separately with each person but Lama and her team managed/coordinated the project as a whole which kept everything moving as seamlessly as possible. We had a great experience and would not hesitate to use them again!
It was a pleasure working with Lama and Hoboken Cabinetry. Lama was super helpful in helping us redesign our bathroom and replace our outdated kitchen cabinets. She had great design advice and was always available for any questions/concerns we had. We couldnt be happier with the finished product and would definitely recommend Hoboken Cabinetry in the future.
Hoboken Cabinetry made the process flawless from start to finish. They were true professionals, and gave us such an unbelievable kitchen...it was beyond our expectations! I highly recommend using them, they are really first rate! Would wouldnt use anyone else!
Were both in the kitchen now! Before getting our kitchen renovated by Hoboken Cabinetry, I would wait in the living room until my husband was finished in the kitchen. Our kitchen was small and boxed in by a counter. It had a tiny refrigerator. We were going to buy cabinets from IKEA and fix up our kitchen ourselves. Oh, boy.On a whim, as I walked down Bloomfield in Hoboken I stopped into Hoboken Cabinetry. Everything changed. They asked me questions about our kitchen I never thought of. Then they visited our condo and created several virtual kitchens where we could change cabinet colors, move counters around, and vary the lighting. Seeing that was so fun. They developed structures for corners where nothing commercial would fit. One solution in a back corner was to create a breadbox with a rolling top that made a dark space into something retro cool. They put in extra deep cabinets because our space is limited. I didnt know those existed. They replaced some cabinet fronts for minor flaws that I would have accepted. Some items we bought we the least expensive from their showroom floor. However, Hoboken Cabinetry took time to help us find, and special order our more expensive countertops. They helped us mix and match prices to maximize our budget. Its true, I think of how much I love our kitchen every day. And Hoboken Cabinetry--they do magical things--they are kitchen wizards!
