We have adopted 2 cats from FCN—one in 2016 and one in 2018. We have also attended their annual gala every year and support their mission with financial donations whenever we can. This rescue really loves every creature they save and they go above and beyond to care for every rescue. Their move to a larger space has allowed them to care for even more animals and set up a boutique that offers amazing specialty items for animal lovers! I’m grateful that every animal is spayed or neutered before being adopted and that they do not allow declawing. Our Willow and Marley would not be with us without this special rescue and we are forever grateful for them. I highly recommend FCN to anyone looking to adopt a cat!
I love FCN! The ladies who run it and the volunteers all go way above and beyond for the cats and community. My mom adopted both of her cats from there and theyre both wonderful. PLEASE donate and adopt from them if you can! They also have a great gift shop and the proceeds from that go toward care for the kitties
We recently adopted our cat from FCN. All I can say is what a wonderful experience! The people that work and volunteer their time there are so caring and compassionate. The facility is spotless. The minute you walk in to see the cats, it’s evident that the care they give the cats is phenomenal. I definitely recommend going here if you are looking to adopt a cat. ❤️
We stopped in the Hobart location just to visit the kitties. We had recently lost one of our rescues, Tuesday, and was just looking at who was available.Going down one row, further up at the end, I could see a paw poking in and out of a kennel. By the time we got there, Cas, was very vocal and reaching out, so requested a one-on-one. My 11 yr old grandson was closest to her and she jumped into his arms. She was 6 months old and her sister left the day of our visit.Tyler couldnt put her down. She found her human!We filled out paperwork and a week later, we brought her home. Shes now 3.
Have gratefully supported FCN for many years, including when they moved into their new facility. Its clean, roomy, and staffed by several volunteers that let them help way more kitties than they used to. They love working with people hoping to adopt - give them a call!

I will forever be an FCN supporter and adopter! I volunteered for them while I was living in town and it was such a pleasure to see the “behind the scenes” on how well these kitties are taken care of. The facility doesn’t smell at all when walking in, cats are clearly happy and in large, inviting spaces, the employees are very pleasant, and it’s clear that these kitties are loved by them endlessly! I have 2 FCN kitties and they are my pride and joy. I can’t wait to adopt more!
Thus place is a gem. Clean, well run and work super hard to rescue cats in need and care for cats that have no homes. I love visiting the cats and buying gifts from the shop.
We adopted our two furkids from FCN. When visiting the facility, you can tell that all of the “babies” are taken care of and loved by the staff and volunteers! Highly recommend if you are wanting to adopt one, two, three, or more new furry family members!
A great place for the cat lover!!!!!! I went there to pick up a gift for my sister and was really blown away with the place. This is a small boutique with every cat-themed gift you could think of! All sorts of unique shirts... frames... they had it all. AND as an added bonus there were maybe 6 cats wandering around the showroom that you could pet and love on! The lady that helped my wife and I was really nice and helped us get the gifts we needed. If you love cats or even mildly like them this place is worth checking out!
We got our babies from here! They are a bonded pair. Their names are lilo and stitch and we love them so much. They have brighten up our day since we brought them home. The workers were very nice and helpful on showing us all the cats they had to offer. They treat their cats so much better than any other shelter I have seen! They truly love the animals.
Called to ask a basic question and was rudely interrupted. Bad customer service, in response to yours. I understood you are a non for profit. I had a simple question and was cut off mid question..no excuse for bad manners. A simple apology goes a long way.

What a wonderful and loving place! Visited and saw 2 volunteers feeding the cats. The cats are well fed and cared for, lying in their cat beds or lazing in the sunshine. So glad that the kitties of our area have this Haven of Love and kindness on their side. Very impressed. ♡♡♡
They are awesome the cats are well taken care of. Better than the humane society. So much knowledge about the cats. Would totally adopt from them . No help from the government they rely on donations from the public. Worth given too..

I have been in the rescue world for some time now and I have never experienced a place like the Feline Community Network. It is truly a dream realized, for anyone who cares about the safety and well-being of cats. The facility is top of the line and the staff are the most caring, genuine and compassionate people in the field. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this organization.
Brand new and clean. State of the art. Less stress on the cats. I loved seeing the free roaming of some cats. Large cat houses. Just so much better than the small cages most shelters have.
I absolutely love this place! You can tell they work hard to socialize the cats for adoption. Always clean! No litter smell! The volunteers seem to genuinely love the cats and want the best for them.
Such an amazing place! We got our cat Nacho from there last October. He was very sick, malnourished and suffering from a broken leg. The owner Michelle and her team rescued Nacho from the streets, gave him treatment and love, and we took him home shortly thereafter as a foster to adopt. Michelle is seriously dedicated to the wellbeing of all the cats and does everything she can to help every cat in need. The shelter itself is clean, and the cats have amazing spaces full of cat towers, soft blankets and toys, and nutritious food to live until their forever home comes for them! They get to know each cats personality, and remember each cat and adopter long after they’ve gone home. I definitely recommend this place to adopt from and take an amazing cat home with you.
The staff here is really awesome, and they all are so wonderful and kind! The cats here, are really blessed to have this group take care of them. Each staff member, knows each cat by name, and personality! A wonderful organization!

I have been a volunteer at FCN for the past two years. So I know how well these cats are taken care of. Cat living spaces are kept clean and comfy. Staff takes their job seriously and works to keep cats happy and healthy while they are waiting for their furrever home.Oh, and FCNs new gift shop is amazing! Its a cat lovers dream!
I adopted a kitten after fostering & have also volunteered both in the shelter & as a foster on a number of occasions. Michelle and her staff are very knowledgeable about the health, safety, caring for and finding good and appropriate homes for these kitties! My daughter also adopted her foster cat from FCN

We adopted Morris a awesome orange cat just about a year and a half ago. He is so laid back and such a loving cat and this is because of the LOVE that he was shown by Feline Community Network. The people there love and live for these cats. I would certainly adopt from them again.
These people really do care about the cats. You can tell because the place is clean and the cats all seem to be under very little stress considering their circumstances. If you’re interested in adopting they ask a lot of question which is good because it shows they want to make sure the cats are only going to good homes for people who will genuinely care for the cat. They could always use volunteers and donations because they’re always taking in more cats than they can handle. These people really do care and are so important for these animals and for the community. Thank you for all your hard work FCN! We see all of the hard work you guys put it day in and day out. You’re wonderful people!
This place is unlike any other animal shelter i’ve ever been to. Usually when i see animals in the shelter or a pet store it makes me so sad to see them cramped up and isolated. This place brings all the cats together and lets the cats show their personalities. I love that they get to know each cat to match you to your perfect. This amazing group of people really guide you through the adoption process and help you along the way with your fur baby. The application has a lot of questions but i really liked that because it shows they want you to adopt a cat forever and not just dump it later on. The shelter is clean and the cats have so many toys and beds to lay in. I adopted my boy Bubba from there and we’re a perfect match. I’m so thankful i found him. Michelle and her team truly do great work!

We had seen a post of a little kitten that one of the volunteers had picked up wandering around. He was born with defects of his right front leg and ear. They named him Sebastian after the lobster in finding Nemo. For thats what he had a tiny little lobster claw for a front leg. After a trip to the vet and surgery to remove his leg, he went into foster. He didnt stay long. We seen his intake picture and read his story. We had to have him. His name wasnt changed and we have had him for 8 months now and just celebrated his first birthday. The kitties need rescues like this. They are champions for the ones left behind abandoned or injured.
I adopted my cat from FCN 5 years ago now. This rescue treats every cat as their own, and MIchelle goes above and beyond to ensure the cats are placed in safe, loving homes after cats are fully vetted and cared for. Additionally, Michelle takes on some of the toughest of the toughest cases of cats-- its not all cute kittens and rainbows. Her heart and dedication to felines shines. I am so grateful for this wonderful group and all of the work Michelle and her team put in!
I found a cat in very bad shape and even though they were full, they opened their door and hearts to help this very sick baby and never asked for a dime. They do such good work for the cat community. Please look them up, visit, volunteer, adopt, donate....every little bit helps. ❤🐈

FCN is an amazing organization! I have adopted 3 cats from FCN. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone that works/volunteers there loves each and every cat as if they were their own. They give all they can and do all that they can to help all of the precious cats and animals that need saving. I donate when I can because they always open their doors when an animal is in need.
I found a cat hit by a car and they took him (Stephan) I think thats what they called him and got him well and he was adopted by his foster family. I could not afford to take him to a vet and they saved his life. Thank GOD for them.
Awesome place for cats. Ladies here were very nice and helpful. Thank you so very much for the voucher, my cat is doing much better now that she is spayed. She no longer pulls her hair out, it is growing back, and she shows no interest of going outside since she has been home.
I cannot say enough great things about FNC. Michelle, the staff, and volunteers work SO hard to keep the kitties happy and well fed, but thats not all they do. FNC is known to take on major medical cases no other shelter would. For example, I adopted my kitten a year ago. She was only 4 months old, living on the streets with a serverly broken leg, and Michelle and the staff took her off the streets, got the medical help she needed and gave her a good home until I could adopt her! FNC also gives back to the community in anyway they can, which is why I support them. Go check them out!
Put the FIRST application in for a kitten named Hank. Was told he would be held for us. No one ever called about the application. No type of communication what so ever. Don’t bother with this place. Total waste of time
I contacted the feline community network about 3 small kittens that had been dumped in the woods behind my backyard. They were there promptly the next day and continued to show up 3 times a day for the next 3 days until the babies were all captured. The care and compassion they treated this kittens with was amazing.

We visited during an open house. While we didnt end up adopting one of their beautiful cats we got to visit with kitties to see how they did with my 13 yr old daughter. The ladies who were there were very knowledgeable and friendly. For being a cat rescue full of litterboxes it didnt smell like a lot of places would. Very clean. If you are looking for a cat (or 2) please check this place out!!

Contacted Adoption about certain kitten I wanted and had been told to fill out an application. I filled out all my information online and emailed it to them. I had many messages back and forth with them about the kitten and was excited to meet her. I told them I was going to the Saturday adoption event and they said even though you filled out an application we need to do an interview with our counselors and the kitten cant be taken home that same day. (Even though I submitted my application a week ago & They are only open Wednesdays during the week) I got there ready to meet my new fur baby and they said she was adopted that morning with another kitten together. I couldnt believe that they wouldnt at least tell me and to just keep feeding me lies and wasting my gas and time of 30 min travel to get her. It wasnt as professional as I thought it was from the emails and they lady kept saying that she wanted to keep the kitten I ended up looking at because my first choice was gone before I could even meet her. Ended up leaving and adopted the best kitten ever from Hobart Humane Society which was 100% better and cooler atmosphere for the animals

This place is a blessing and it is so wonderful what all the volunteers do to help save the poor cats that have been abused, neglected, abandonded, and facing euthanasia at other shelters. They make all the kitties feel at home and make them adoptable!
