Took forever to get my car in. I had a noon appointment and my car wasnt taken in until 1:20. Makes me wonder why I even scheduled ahead of time.. But they did the job and had an interesting selection of movies while I waited

I had a bolt through the center of my $200.00 tire. I called the night before and spoke with Anthony, who I assume was the manager he told me they opened at 7AM. I was there at 7:10 and back on the road by 8:15.Great Service, Great Job and Great Value,...Thanks

Brought in my vehicle because I though the brake pads needed changing- they checked them for free, told me that they were good for now and gave me a good estimate of when I should change them. They also installed a new hubcap I had previously purchased online for free, even though it was an off-site part.Quick, effective, and kind about it. Didnt feel cheated, which is often a worry at vehicle repair shops.

I have been here before to have Tire Rack tires put on my car and the shop is very professionally operated. George took care of me and happily put four new tires in my BMW X3 M40. George explained everything up front and did the job well.

Needed a new battery in one of my cars in a pinch. Showed up to store, very close to closing time, and they were able to get a battery to the store and installed for me right away. Really appreciate Emile going above and beyond to get his hands on the battery and get it installed for me so last minute.

Its been years since I took my car to a shop where I had complete faith in the people who worked there, their ability and that they werent taking advantage. They took me out into the shop and showed me whats what right on my car, and thats the first time anyone ever did that.

I would not recommend these guys. Had tires put on from tire rack and some engine work done. One tire was under inflated. $500 in repairs Did not fix the mechanical issues as claimed by Firestone and Jeep dealer pointed out several places where parts not properly reinstalled as well as missing some special order bolts. I’ve used them for convenience with Tire Rack installs. But, no more.

Not a fan of shop prices being capable of the work. But I appreciate them being here when its cold out. Grabbing an oil change and changing a hub assymbly right now. Had a starter done here 3/4 months ago and the job was done quickly and professionally.

Normally I dont bother writing reviews but I had to here.Terrific. I was promptly given same day appointment for four new all season tires. The guy was not upselling me and offering me things I did not need. Rather he took measurements of my treads etc. and recommend the best tires for my situation. Honest and not super salesy which is precis6what I want out of such a major purchase

Had a slow leak in a tire that I was hoping to get repaired. they couldnt repair it and I ended up replacing tire. as soon as I picked up the car i had a leak in another tire and am 100% convinced this was done intentionally while they had it.

This was a tire and wheel installation of a TireRack purchase shipped to Firestone.The vehicle placard on this 2019 MINI JCW clearly states front 42 psi, rear 39 psi. The onboard tire pressure monitoring stated after calibrating front 35 and 32 psi; rear 32 and 31 psi. I had the pressures corrected at South Shore MINI. I was not going to have Firestone techs touch vehicle again.This gets worse. When I went to pick up my summer tires, it turns out Firestone never mounted my snows, they had instead rotated my summer tires. I had to go back an additional time for the work originally scheduled to be done. NEVER AGAIN!

Got a nail in my tire and went to just get a plug in it to get me home. The guy at the counter told me my tires needed to be replaced and he couldnt to a patch or plug because of how worn out they were. My tires have 10k on them and are almost brand new. This is a place that will try and take advantage of you if they think you are a layman. Im not, I just dont drive around with a plug kit. Will never do business here and would advise anyone else to avoid as well.

Went in to replace a set of tires which I bought from TireRack, all things went smoothly until I receive a call from the shop/shift manager telling me that I should do wheel alignment as well. I was hesitant at first since my vehicle only has 38k miles but I told him to proceed anyways. When picking up vehicle, I looked at the wheel alignment paper to find out the before was in specifications (all green) and the after is the same specifications as the before. The workers are good guys but that manager/supervisor is not an honest person. Please be aware!

Quick and painless. Got an oil change and brakes put on one of my cars. Decent price for labor (i supplied my own parts). Dropped the car off and got a 2 hour time estimate. Got a call after an hour and said i was all done. They even topped off the fluids and aired up my tires and did a quick inspection

If you don’t know anything about vehicles do not go to Firestone. They will break something and not tell you. If you find out and confront them they will lie right to your face. They’re all about a quick cheap fix (while still charging you as much as possible.)The general manager is the worst. Because instead of fix the problem he will tell you what ever you want to hear and then avoid you but only after you catch him in a lie. If you don’t he will just go with the lie too. This branch of firestone is extremely unprofessional. If you truly care about your vehicle I would recommend going anywhere else. It’s half the price and your chance of quality work is the same.EDIT: you may see that they have reached out to me by responding to this review. I have had upwards of 5 different email conversations with this company and they have told me every time that the regional manager will contact me. That has not happened (that’s why I have had so many email conversations. Because of the regional manager still not reaching out) the bottom line is this company does not care about the customers. All the posters in the store about “customer service” and “doing the job right” could not be further from the truth. This is by far the most unprofessional unsatisfactory and frustrating experience I have ever had with a mechanic shop....let alone a big company!!!

Went in to have 4 tires mounted and balanced and put on my vehicle. Everything looked great till I got home and realized they put the tires on wrong. I have wider tires in the rear than the front. They put one of each size on each axle. Its not rocket science guys.

I went in for chucking noise during hitting gas pedal. Went In to get it checked. They misdiagnosed and said my axle is damaged. Charged me for misdiagnosis and putting new axle $400. As soon as I paid, went to my car, turned my car and hit gas pedal, noise is same. I went straight back inside and this guy at front desk comes out and tells me he heard this noise just now when this noise is clearly regularly happening every time u hit gas pedal. Then he suggests me to go transmission shop to get it fixed after ripping me of for axle which was not required at all. I will be raising this issue with corporate of firestone

Bought tires from tire rack, and they were listed as an install center. Had the tires shipped here, had them mounted and balanced here. They asked me what car the tires go on, and I told them. No problems.Come back 2 weeks later because Im getting a vibration in the front through the steering wheel and they turn me around refusing to work on the vehicle. The managers response We dont work on those cars

I give them one because replacing the battery on 3 year old car should be simple. Went there to replace my battery, oil and the right fog light. Total cost of 300 bucks . After all was done engine light came up. They could not figure out what was the problem because the diagnostic tool could not be connected. After 4 Hours of trying to find a burnout fuse they told me that I have to go to my dealership because the cannot fix it. Being all this happening over the weekend I had to wait till Monday to schedule my appointment and to take a day off from work. So when I came to my dealership they told me that the fuses were all mixedup and that is why the Firestone was not able to connect the diagnostic tool and that is why I had engine light up. Had to pay 100 bucks on top of what I paid at Firestone! So if you want create additional issues on top of you already have go to Firestone! I will pass.To be fair the technician was trying hard to figure it out and they were cooperating when I came back with the statement from the dealership demanding to credit at least 100 bucks to my Firestone accountI will not be returning to them ever again

Been servicing my now 15yo car here for a few years. Everything has been exactly as expected: fast, friendly service and no surprises for basic services. I usually do a lot of my own car repair, but when I needed some mechanic help, they turned me down because they do not install customer parts.

Shop is clean and pretty standard. The service is quick and the employees are friendly. If you dont know anything about your car I would be cautious, since they will try and upsell you on things that need to be done. They will also try and sell you a credit card.

TERRIBLE service! HORRIBLE experience ! BAD customer service and Unqualified/Incompetent management in this Firestone store. Service in this store has gone from satisfactory to extremely bad in just one year, and let me tell you.. few more firestone stores with terrible service and unprofessional customer relations, such as this one in Hingham,Ma will surely damage this companys brand and its service credibility in the future if no corrective actions are taken. Three services, three negative outcomes in less than a year (shame on me at this point for continuing to trust this place with my vehicles). Recent one almost two weeks ago, we took my wifes car 2010 Rav4 for oil service and courtesy/safety checks but a week later the cars transmission was gone for lack of transmission fluid! My wife specifically asked the adviser to have techs check all important fluids because last time the car was serviced there they failed to check all fluids and just after couple of weeks the car started to stall and we learned that it was out of coolant fluid! Mind you there was never any leaks in both incidents. After calling the store to report the transmission fluid issue and ask why they didnt check it during the oil change service to let us know wether there was enough fluids or not, especially since my wife reminded and requested that all important fluids be looked at during the service visit as part of their supposedly saftey/courtesy checks so we dont have another issue, the store manager Xa...was very defensive, unprofessional, disrespectful and lacked basic requirement of listening skills to hear customers feedback! The way he talked to us was very arrogant, interruptive and implied our guilt and blame for the transmission incident without admiting even part of their responsibility for not properly checking this fluid which may have saved us the $3500 it costed us to repair the transmission. He stated that the world is not perfect and that his techs arent perfect and if it was so my car would not have broken down and he would not have been working there and that he may have had his own repair shop instead!!( so he was basically meaning for me to just suck it up and move on with my life ). Unbelievable, no responsibility what so ever! I thought they were supposed to be the experts/professional that we go to for car care and guidance! I wasnt obviously happy with this whole experience so I called Firstone company main customer service to place formal complaint and I was told the area manager will reach out to me within 48hrs. This didnt happen, so called again to follow up on the claim # and I was again told that the regional manager will follow up within 48 hrs since i didnt hear from the area manager. No call either. Then a store employeecalled to say sorry about the whole experience but Firestone wouldnt take any responsibility for the transmission fluid issue because according to their companys guidlines they check all fluids during the courtesy/saftey multipoint checks Except Transmission fluid!!! and he told me that because there was never any written requestfrom my wife during the oil service visit to do so.. they ( Firestone auto care )arent obligated to take any responsibility. Verbal Requests dont count. I guess this is a classic deceiving tactics that chain companies may use to avoid admitting any responsibility. So Be AWARE! For me and my wife the damage is already done and well have to pay thousands of dollars because of this experience, but figured we share it with you so that you can make a better and informed decision and think twice before taking your car to this firestone store for service. This is proven and real experience and this company didnt do whats right to repair the damage and correct its employees actions so be AWARE and avoid this place! Not recommended. Took vehicle there for changing tires purchased on Tire Rack. Received a call recommending $1900 of service. Declined because they did not use NipponDenso parts. Took vehicle to Toyota dealer, received full service + more for $945. Unnecessary recommendations for service.

3 times in one week I had to go back, each time was told there was a different problem wrong. not even 2 minutes after leaving the engine light came back on and I was told it would be another 900 to fix for the third time! SKETCHY. Took it somewhere else, they didnt find anything and I was able to get an inspection sticker without a problem. Everytime I went back a different tech gave me a different answer with the recommendation of more expensive work.

From all the bad reviews i have read on this place i wouldnt go here for anything except for a new battery. They carry INTERSTATE and thats what i wanted. I got their best the MEGA-TRON PLUS. i was able to bring in a coupon from their website that gave me $20.00 off the regular $139.99 price It took longer than it should have. I think i was waiting for about 30 minutes for the new battery.

VERY VERY AWFUL EXPERIENCE ! I bought my lifetime alignment which means I can get my vehicle aligned at anytime, cost me $199. Never ever had an issue getting at any other location, Marco service adviser, advised me to go to another location after booking my appointment for 5 oclock. I had called every location that morning to get the earliest availability. My appointment happen to end up, Marco service adviser taking a step further by calling the Hingham police because I had ask why you could not give me an alignment. I asked politely to please give me an alignment, never ever had issue with other locations, but he always asks me why why why? I dont need to tell him why and I did not, but the reason why is because I change wheels a lot on my vehicle and that is the reason why I paid the $199, to feel comfortable making an appointment over the phone and just drop the vehicle off. Just want to say they are very awful crew, more like lazy as well, probably the reason why they didnt want to do it as well, I had awful experience and would not like to give them any business from friends or family.

OMG! I just had the worst experience in my life at this shop.I will start with I have used this shop and other Firestones with mixed results. Overall they have been positive until now. I was in 10k mile ago to do my brakes. They said I only needed front. GREAT. I came back 10k miles later to have my brakes done. The guy comes out with this long list of items I need to be done including new rotors, brake line flush and rear-end flush. *If I dont do these I will have problems with my warranty!* REALLY!!! My 10 yr old jeep with 80k miles!!! No, I need nothing except my brake pad thank you. He said you need rotors. I said no I dont. Its my 2nd brake job and I never had my rotors resurfaced. All the metal is there! I dont need aftermarket rotors that will cause problems. I have my brakes done long before they are due so I dont have these problems. He is now pointing at the rotor and I said they look GREAT! Look at how thick they. DROP MY CAR! I am out of here! VERY DISAPPOINTED. I believe they are required to push these products to boost sales. This pressure I dont need from any business.

I waited until I went here at least a handful of times before reviewing. I used to go to the Expert Tire in North Weymouth before it closed. So I began going to this Firestone once it did since it was at least the same chain. I liked Expert Tire because I would often go in and be told that I didnt need anything that day. This is the building of trust with me for a mechanic. In the five times that I have been to the Whiting St. Firestone, they have done the same thing twice (each time Ive gone it, Ive gone for a oil change with other concerns).Just today, two of my concerns were thoroughly explained with options and the risk level at which I needed to do each option, both of which today I chose not to do anything and felt no pressure otherwise.The fact that its a Firestone and the warranty on the tires or other work is acknowledged at another Firestone franchise in Maryland or Vermont when Im traveling is a plus.I will continue to service here for now.(As for the person below who said they were upsold after an inspection...that doesnt make sense as this place doesnt even do state inspections...?)

All the do is upsell and are rude about it. Messed up my camber during the alignment when adjusting toe, but were not able to fix the camber. Will not return, poor customer service.
