May this place never change, as well as the great staff stays here. So accommodating. I am here for my third refit of my custom made insoles. The shop due to Covid is currently only taking appointments rather than street footfall; fair enough. So I called to make an appointment so I could purchase. I was told that I would require a gait analysis before I could think about buying any trainers and this would cost £75. I said I do not require nor want a gait analysis as I know what type of trainer I require and have had numerous gait analysis before - including at Profeet. I was told I was not allowed to buy any trainers unless I pay the £75. I am amazed that shops have customers knocking at their door and refuse business especially post Covid. There are sales people knocking door to door trying to get sales yet when a potential customer comes to you and you have to do nothing to attract them and you turn them away. It is amazing. It is a great shame I could not support a local non-chain shop and ended up buying three pairs of trainers from Runners need.
I recently had an issue with a pair of Lowa walking boots that I purchased from Profeet last year. I thought that I would have quite a bit of back and forth before it even went to Lowa to resolve the issue. However, I was pleasantly surprised when, after only a few emails and some photos, I was informed by Profeet that if I sent back my boots, they would replace them with a brand new pair. The best customer service experience I have ever had.I have used profeet once before for a custom liner which I would recommend. I had an excellent experience last time which was eclipsed this time. I had a technician called mark who was brilliant, there was not one thing that could have been improved. He talked me through everything he was doing with the insoles to the point where I felt like I was an expert. His warmth and friendliness was above and beyond the call of duty and the end product was perfect for my feet. I would recommend profeet to everyone I know as a result. I would rate this place ten stars if I could.
I spent many years feeling pain in my feet and ankles and after going to Profeet my problems were solved. Having had boots fitted in October 17, they felt great in the shop and since then I’ve made several ski trips, each time noticing different niggles with the fit of my boots which Profeet have successfully ironed out upon my return. I ski hard and quite often but I now feel I am close to having the perfect fit ski boot. Very happy customer so far and what’s great is knowing that I have another year or so to have adjustments made should I notice anything else. Highly recommended, friendly and professional staff. You do pay a bit more here than simply off the shelf but I believe it’s worth it, there’s nothing worse than badly fitting ski boots and they should last you a very long time!

Always buy my trainers here, i have high bridge and arches, running is never an issue after custom inner soles and propper fitting. They also sorted out my ski boots in one sitting which i can never thank them enough for.
Avoid at all cost. Make your ski boots in station. The ski boots they made me could have not been more wrong. They hurt since day one and they made 4 of my ski trips unbearable. I went to shops to re heat them but the boot itself choice was just so not right for me that nothing could be done. I ended up putting the £450 I spent in the dustbin!!! And buying new ones in station that fits perfectly. Why this did happen? 1) your foot inflates in station so better to do it there anyway, 2) If something goes wrong you just go back to that shop and don t have to wait to be back in london, 3) Profeet had only very little stock when I went and I felt like I was getting the best fit for their remaining stocks as options were lacking, 4) the advise on the boot was simply wrong and the fit too. I don t think I ever regretted so much a purchase I made. Make your boots in station, it is way cheaper and it will fit better.

I booked an appointment after a friend recommended the place. The running shoes appointment took about 20 minutes and I was served by Chloe. She was quite reserved and showed me a three types of shoes. The assessment was fairly basic but helpful. I did purchase a pair of trainers but I might try another shop in the future.
I am not a professional runner nor a great runner but Profeet treated me like a real pro when I visited them. Such a great experience for my gait analysis appointment. I feel their advice and feedback has set me up for continuing to run happily for many years to come.

Their video treadmill shows you how you run barefoot, then in various running shoes until they find the right style for you, with clear and helpful explanations all the way through. No single hint of condescension either, which is very welcome if you know youre a bit on the porky side - one big reason for running! A welcome change from bored teens flogging you trendy trainers that might be totally wrong for your needs...
Came to Profeet for new insoles after big toe hemi-arthroscopic surgery. Technician Marthe assessed and advised brilliantly. I took advantage of the 6 month discount and have now had three pairs made. The effects have been transformative. I cant recommend them highly enough.

I received a first class boot fitting at Pro Feet resulting in 4 weeks of painless/comfortable skiing. The fitting took a while which was great because I knew that every little detail was being fully considered and all the feedback I was giving during the fitting was being listened to and acted on - the technician was very patient! Quite disappointed with the running assessment. It felt rushed and more basic than expected for the price. Would be fairer if assessment were free if you end up buying shoes + orthotics.
Most reliable running shoe shop in London. I live over an hour away but I travel there specifically because it’s so good. Customer service is excellent and they really know what they are talking about. Highly recommend.
Waste of time. After checking when making the appointment that they could do injection molded liners for touring boots with articulated ankles, it turns out that they do nothing of the kind. £35 and 3.5 hours wasted in travel and parking.

Great analysis and great report. I went there to check if I would benefit from insoles, after a few check the advice was not to. They only advised that new shoes would be beneficial but not a must. Conclusion was that a few specific exercises should help. Clearly not overselling and providing real guidance...

Had gait analysis in October last year. The shoes I was recommended have been perfect but were worn out long ago. Now I got back in touch and they are willing to reorder same for me again or even give me details so I can buy them online. Im going back and willing to pay more for this level of service.
I recently started running more seriously (and experience more injuries) so I decided to try their 3D run lab. I was sceptical that a key purpose of Running Gait Analysis might be to sell me custom insoles. I could not have been more wrong.Emma was my assessor. She was helpful and insightful. Their running analysis uses a couple of sensors and a smart bit of software to compare your efficiency to that of 600 elite athletes. It certainly helped identify a few things for me to work on. But for me, Emmas experience just testing my flexibility and watching my videos was probably the most valuable thing. She said that given my issues, insoles are not the answer, its better to focus on a few strength exercises in my hips and feet.Thank you for a very valuable hour. (PS I think unless you really are an elite runner, the level 1 analysis gives you enough information in a first session - theres a lot to take in. I considered the full assessment but it was not necessary)

Great place to come if you are looking to solve some feet problem, either running or skiing.With the right insole they solve the pain that I felt in my feet while skiing, and more recently made a running insoles and bought some running shoes.They staff is lovely and they show depth knowledge.
Went there for a running no analysis. Paid 40£ to get an understanding of my foot which is essential for every runner. No obligation to buy anything which is good but you recommended what shoes u can wear

Good place slightly awkward area
Profeet provide a thorough and professional service. The biomechanics analysis was very useful for not only avoiding injury but becoming a faster runner. They also sorted out my Dad who has struggled with niggles for years but is now able to run more than ever in his 50s!
Really great after sales service.My ski boot heater had broken due to the heating element failing (no fault of the original Profeet installation).Profeet replaced the element at no cost and were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
Not a huge deal for running shoes. I paid 15 gbp for a basic running assessment and at the end I got to chose between an extremely limited selection of shoes. The staff is really nice but they seem to be constantly rushing. If you are looking for running shoes my suggestion is to go to Run and Become in Victoria (2 min from the station). They make the same assessment for free, the staff had way more time to dedicate to you and, more importantly, you get to try running shoes on tarmac rather then on a treadmill.

Many thanks to Johan, although the store only had one fairly generic type of womens ski touring boots he made them fit perfectly. In our group of seven experienced ski tourers only three of us didnt have any boot problems. Others had to take time out with very damaging blisters - not ideal when moving from hut to hut.Well worth the price tag.
If youre a serious runner it is 100% worth coming in here to get your gait analysed and make sure youre in the right shoes. They take excellent care of you and are worth the half hour session.

Rosie was the specialist who worked with me to fit some custom/corrective snowboard insoles, and I say specialist as when we got talking she explained that she had a university degree in sports biomechanics - it was clear from the way that she talked me through the process & how the insoles would work that she was knowledgeable, which was really reassuring & made me feel like I was in good hands from the start. The whole process from start to finish took about an hour, any questions I had were answered then and there, and the difference in the way that my boots felt with the insoles in was fairly immediate. I look forward to giving them a go on the slopes, and was told that any adjustments that need to be made to them in follow up can be arranged free of charge. Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff, free adjustments - what more could you want.
Bought a pair of ski boots, very happy with the result. I always have trouble renting ski boots, because of the shape of my legs, but they found a pair that would fit me. I skied for 10 days without major problems, but still at the end of the day one foot would be a little more sore than the other. After I came back I gave them a call, I went back and they fixed the problem. Very happy with the experience.

I can really recommend these guys. I had a problem with fallen arches so was getting hip pain when running. Went for an analysis of my gait etc and came away with trainers suitable for my size and weight with insoles to stop my arches collapsing. I was also given a sheet with some relevant stretches to do after running as well.Very friendly and good customer service. Thanks Profeet
What a waste of time, I went in to get some help with my foot problems, all their specialist recommend was a type of insole which was no more sophisticated than an insole i had made at a ski resort fifteen years ago. You can only claim to be a specialist IF YOU KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES. Id rather pay more and get something more up todate!!

Very poor experience. I have to change my shoes for new one after two weeks of ski and being twice into the shop. They clearly didnt take into account my feet specificity and made me standard shoes. I would not recommend for anyone with feet problem.

From what I can gather Profeet is primarily geared up for ski/boarding footwear, although I was there to buy a pair of Tecnica hikking boots.The boots required a fairly involved thermal heating process to customise their fit, all professionally taken care of by the friendly staff.If you need to get someone to help you find active footwear and you have an ongoing injury you need to deal with this is the place to go.
I had my gait analysed and custom insoles made at Profeet last month and I absolutely loved it! Staff was welcoming, professional, very skilled and knowledgeable; highly recommended.
Beware! You go in, get an analysis and they produce some insoles for you. All fairly expensive. Plus they try to sell you some shoes at the same time. OK, so I got the analysis, I bought the insoles, I even bought the ski boots! 2 years on I want some more insoles. No they say. After 18 months you need a NEW analysis and insoles for a further £120 a pair. Ouch.

AVOID Avoid avoid. I was suffering from shin splints so went here. Great hi tech machines analysed MT feet and gait. They then made me some fancy £160 custom insoles. Two runs later and my knees were ruined. First ever knee injury and 2 years later my left knee still ruined.Yes they can mould an insole to your foot but that won’t help you.

Been here twice now for ski boots, once for me and again for my mum. Great service both times, and my boots have been serving me excellently for years now (havent had a chance to test my mums out yet).
Long term review update:After 3 years and various tweaks trying to make it fit better and 2 re-assessments of the boots by other well recognised professional fitters I have decided to retire the one fitted by profeet due to it being the incorrect boot size for me. I have developed a painful calcaneus bump at my heel due to poor fitting which I’m told will never go away. Left two stars since as per below profeet tried to fix it but in the end being the wrong boot size it would never get 100%. It is disappointing to have such an error from specialised fitters.Original: reviewGreat service pre/after sale - its common stores providing a good service to complete the sale but Profeet definitely cares about their customers after the sale. In very busy times and over 1 year my purchase, I have been seen to adjust my ski boot twice without any resentment (and cost). I feel they would keep adjusting my boot until Im happy! I will be back once I need to buy a new liner or boot. Great job guys keep the good work!

After all the tests I was recommended to buy a custom insole as apparently that was the solution. I did fall for it. Soon after they took measurements and put an insole into my shoe, i was quickly asked to run on the treadmill, and they made me believe that my running posture had improved (??!!). Clearly it hadnt. Then as the person was running out time, handed me a paper asking to the exercises printed on it. There I was standing puzzled after having paid over £170 .Now over a few weeks and £170 later, nothing has changed.Go to this place if you clearly need an insole (if not you would end up with one anyways), definitely not to diagnose your problem.CS - fake smiles and could barely hide it.
I cannot rate Profeet highly enough!I have difficult feet - theyre uncomfortable and have always given me problems. Yet the folk at Profeet are experts at what they do, and they genuinely know their stuff, and above all else, they listened to everything I had to say and then tried their very best to understand and to help. And it worked!I initially got some trainers from them and successfully ran the London Marathon and London Triathlon in them (which I would never have considered possible before). Then I replaced my ski boots, with added Profeet custom insoles, and they also modified the inner boot for me identifying one of the major causes of ski boot discomfort Id been battling with my entire life. And I can honestly say theyve changed my entire ski experience! My ski boots now fit me PERFECTLY and are so, so comfortable, I dont long to take them off as soon as I come off the slopes any more and will happily wear them all day, walk in them around the resort, and having comfortable boots means Im a more controlled and better skier.So thank you Profeet - from me and my happy feet.
Update: 3rd refit and still not really better - They think I need a narrower boot and possibly a liner. About to head off on another trip and cant use my boots I have paid for as they caused nerve damage last time. Being told the next time they can do a full fit (with me inuring a cost) will be in 2-3 weeks time. I get its a busy time of year, but after 4 fits and still issues and no end in sight, makes you pretty unhappy.Cant fault the staff for being friendly and helpful, but my ski boots are not good! Numb feet, heal lift and uncomfortable pressure in critical areas like shins and upper foot. Trying to get a 3rd fitting sorted before my next trip (busy time of year) but not optimistic that they will be able to address all the issues :(
