I wish there was a way to leave a zero star review. Today I had one of the worst experiences of my life. I made an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I have been so excited all week long. I get there and the lady proceeds to tell me there are books I can look at because there isn’t much in my size. That being my size, I would have to special order. Tells my Bestfriend that the dresses she was looking at would be way too small for me to try on. She literally said “I’m looking at you and you have to be atleast an 18, maybe bigger” when I am telling her that I’ve tried on dresses and I always try on 10-14 depending on the breast section because I am big chested. She is responding to me that I would be LUCKY to get into an 18. I have never in my life experienced someone so rude. How are you a wedding dress shop owner and supposed to make money off of making women feel beautiful and treat someone like that? To see someone who was so excited to try on dresses but instead she is going home crying.Anyways, I would NOT recommend using colonial bride in Hinesville. Save your self esteem and go to David’s Bridal in Savannah.Edited to respond to your comment:You say you weren’t rude, but here you are again coming off pretty rude in your response. I had my nine year old and my six year old with me, both who are plenty old enough to be included in on this part of the wedding planning. Considering I took my six month old with me previously and was NEVER treated this way. You really should look into a different profession if you can’t accommodate families and accept brides of all sizes and make them feel beautiful. Considering I wear a size ten in pants, I am a pretty average size bride. I have struggled with my weight in the past and have went without eating and even was bilemic for some time.. so you need to realize that your words can really cut deep. I truly hope my review can help another bride never feel the way you made me feel today. Even your apology was rude and insincere.

This lady is beyond rude. Don’t even know how she’s in business. Take your money and 3 pieces of bacon elsewhere and save yourself the heartache and time!
