I basically lived at Cinnamon Bear Country Store for the week we stayed on Hilton Head Island. The first time I went, I was worried about the length of the line, but I decided to give it a shot.I found out that this is one of those places that moves people through the line fast. I was at the front of the line in no time. I ordered a single scoop of Java Chunk on a waffle cone the first time. Their single scoop seems more like a double scoop, but thats fine with me.At first Java Chunk was my favorite flavor. It was the only one Id had at that point, so it was too soon to play favorites, but I couldnt help it. I dont usually like chocolate in ice cream because it gets hard and gross. Something about the chocolate or how they cut it keeps it from getting that way.Im my moms favorite, so when I got back to the condo I found out she had gotten me four scoops of Cookies n Cream. (Actually, three were for my wife and kids, but I ate them all.) At that point Java Chunk was still my favorite. Still, Cookies n Cream is worth having a few times.The next time I got Java Chunk and a scoop of Strawberry Cheesecake to share with my wife. Id say Strawberry Cheesecake is tied with Java Chunk. Its a matter of whether youre in a chocolate mood or a fruit mood.Then my wife got Chocolate Brownie Extreme. That one was so good I had to get it the next time.Tonight, sadly my last night here for a while, I had Chocolate Peanut Butter and wished I had gotten it the whole time. Yet, had I started with that flavor Im sure my tastes would have evolved throughout the week anyway. Maybe theres a parallel dimension where I started with Chocolate Peanut Butter and ended with Java Chunk.I also got a cool necklace for my son in there and a bracelet for my daughter.

The Cinnamon Bear Country Store on Lighthouse Road on Hilton Head Island is a great place to go for all things delicious ice cream, snacks. They also have a good selection of gift items available here. This is a fun place to shop and check out everything. I have had a good experience every time I have been here.

BEST ICE CREAM! During summer months the lines may get a little long but please be patient because the ice cream is the best I have ever had. So creamy and refreshing on a hot night. We went twice in a day some days, the owner is so nice and ensured we had a good experience!

YES, you want to go here to get ice cream when on HHI. The shop was clean, staff was great and they are awesome with food allergies. Our son has several food allergies that make finding ice cream he can have extremely difficult. The staff at Cinnamon Bear were all knowledgeable and great to work with. We will always return when we are back. Thanks for a great experience.

Best Ice cream ever! I tried the Bourbon Pecan and it was delicious. Last but not least, they serve very generous portions. The staff is also friendly.

I had such a lovely experience! The manager on site, Linda was so kind she made my whole day!!!! The shop was super cute and the treats were lovely!!! You should definitely make this place a stop on your trip to Harbor Town!!! Also all staff were masked so it was a very good experience!!!

Staff were not observing Covid protocols. They were wearing their masks like chin straps and the cashier was taking his time chatting with a couple customers at the register while a crowded line formed.

Our favorite place every year! Nightly trips for an ice cream treat. Mike, his wife Lynne, and all of the employees are excellent! Cinnamon Bear store is the place to go.

Ice cream was good, but the cramped store was not a great experience, especially during Covid-19 when we were trying to be safe and socially distance. The cashier was slow and large crowd was building to pay. Better management of the number of people allowed inside at a time would be a helpful improvement!

The ice cream was ordered was delicious and we had the greatest customer service that we received anywhere in Harbor Town! We went two times, but I would definitely go again! I really recommend it!

Delicious Ice Cream and fun store gifts you wouldn’t expect to find! The ice cream is much larger than expected and it is tasty!If you’re worried about COVID safety it can get crowded but they have markers on the floor to keep everyone spaced apart.

Tried different ice cream shops, but Cinnamon Bear was the best around. Went there to get an ice cream every day of our stay in Sea Pines, such a great little shop with nice people!

Absolutely delicious ice cream and huge scoops! I had the salted caramel and white ru absolutely delicious ice cream and huge scoops! I had the salted caramel and white butter pecan in a waffle cone! No wait when I went in about 4 PM; very good service and spoons were available to eat it faster than it could melt! So yummy! I only went in for the ice cream but there appeared to be lots of cute stuff in the store as well.

Stay away. This place has no concept of what safety in the Covid19 world is. They pack people in the store, have no traffic flow and they do not enforce mask wearing. Even the manager/owner did not have his face covered. They literally pack people in at the ice cream counter again having no concept of social distancing or respect for those trying to follow basic Covid19 guidelines. To top it off, the last 3 time we have been they have not packed the ice cream into the cone causing the ice cream to fall off within minutes - so they can not even make an ice cream cone.

Everyone was getting ice cream here.. Heard its really good, but I didnt try it. If you are interested in the Zoltar machine from the movie Big, they have one here! Only costs $1 for your fortune. I enjoyed looking around and got quite a few souvenirs to take home. Nice earrings (and other jewelry here), picture frames, magnets. They also carry shirts and other items including things personalized with names.

Fun atmosphere and must have ice cream if you are in Harbour Town. Mr. Mike doesn’t know a stranger and for the 2nd year in a row we’ve driven from the other side of island each night for the fun of the ice cream. Love trying the flavors and the kids like going through the line multiple times. Love how he treats his staff and is truly thankful for his patrons.

No masks on workers. They kept asking more and more people to crowd to counter, creating a quagmire of people. This goes against their own social distancing guidelines. I had someone elses children pressed between me and the ice cream counter.

My family and I visited this place and received very poor service. When we arrived we were the only ones there. We gave the young lady the order for our 4 children and in the meantime; a few more parties walked in. She had only fixed 2 of our cones and immediately proceeded to the families which were BEHIND us in line. We politely stood there still waiting on our other cones and she kept looking right at us as she welcomed the next customer. 3 parties that came in after us were served and out while we waited. She never stopped to address the fact that we were still standing there nor the fact that she did not finish with our order before proceeding to the next family. I was highly disappointed with this situation. Especially knowing my children had been looking forward to ice cream there because we have visit there last year. However, I will not be going back there because our money spend the same as everyone elses. And if we treat you with respect then we expect the same. This situation was definitely bad for business.

This cute little shop in Harbor Town offers tasty ice cream and iced coffee in addition to typical general store items in a nicely air conditioned environment!The Cinnamon Bear offers about 16 flavored ice creams and frozen yogurts in both cups and cones. We ordered a scoop each of strawberry cheesecake and salted caramel as well as an iced coffee; everything was delicious and cost around $8. Since the shop doesnt provide seating, you can enjoy your treat on one of the numerous red rocking chairs overlooking the harbor and listening to the live music at Harbor Town.The service was great, the store was clean, and the flavor options were satisfying. I definitely prefer this shop to the Scoops and Cones shop under the lighthouse and would visit it again.

Found souvenir called thinking putty, clearly marked $5.99, when at check out, cashier said, oh we forgot the 1, its really 15.99 and do we still want it. Now if anyone has shopped for souvenirs with or for kids, you really have time invested to satisfy desire and price, then to have price switched at the register is ridiculous. No offer to reduce price, and they had no intention of correcting mispriced items as they are all still on the shelf at wrong prices. I would not recommend

Well... It doesnt smell too good, the fudge is kept warm. Its supposed to be chilled for reference. The candy they have is old. The only good part is the ice cream, but you dont want to use the free sprinkles

OMG, the ice cream!! I had a raspberry waffle cone with mini chocolate cups that was divine, and my guys all enjoyed theirs as well. This was the best treat we had during our weeklong trip to HHI. You should get on Tripadvisor so people can sing your praises there! Hidden in the back of a country store, just lucked out to find you.
