The staff endeavors to keep this store stocked. Their inventory changes daily. Check before you shop if you really like something. The people doing inventory and restocking the store, really need to be left alone, let them restock. Check your app. Come to Target and enjoy the great prices!

Very nice spacious target. Very well kept and staff is great! They also have a lot of special goods other targets don’t. There is plenty of parking even though it is right next to Safeway. They also have quite a lot of clearance items which is good.

Wide aisles - GREAT!! Clean! Store is laid out really well so I can see lots of goodies on my way to pick up what I came for - I ALWAYS buy more than whats on my list. Variety of good quality merchandise and all the lighting shows off everything really well. Lots of staff and everyone is polite. The wide aisles and flow of the store makes shopping enjoyable - which I dont normally like.

The Hilo store is clean, neat and the personnel there are friendly, helpful and always ready to assist me.

The store is clean and well put together, however, the staff I encounter are completely incompetent. Checkout is always a fiasco as the cashiers are obsessively concerned about keeping white people 10 ft from each other. Recently I was incorrectly charged and the service desk clerk struggled (15 mins) to do simple math and I ended up just asking for a complete refund out of disgusted frustration. Simple math should be a job prerequisite Target!

But the girl that helped me was the nicest most respectful young lady I have ever been served by in a store, period. She was very polite, respectful, and went out of her way to help me at check out. Its your basic Target store. Good choices for most products. Dairy prices are best in town and the people have a lot of Aloha.

Employees were extremely nice. I had no problems with this target at all. The store was clean and well organized. They offered a good selection of food at the Cafe (Pizza Hut) and the Starbucks employees were amazing.

It would be nice if they could actually pick up the phone once in a while. Guest services rang for about 2 minutes, then disconnected the call. This has happened more than once.

The reason why I chose extremely likely to recommend Target to friends and family is because I love shopping at Target. The store is always clean, the aisles are nice and wide, the workers are welcoming, and the prices are reasonable.

Never have the things I need on the shelf and majority of the workers I have asked don’t want to deal with it ( they don’t scan to check) and give me an excuse that “if it’s not on the shelf then they’re out” but I know for a fact they have in the back 9 out of 10 times... they just don’t want to get it is all, bad on business... however if that was not an issue than target would be great... to the workers that actually do ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank u

I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes and the staff is very friendly when they deliver items to my car. They are also all masked up.

Had great help from Kai who was training at the Cashier Stand in the Hilo Store. He is an excellent ambassador for Target in how helpful and courteous he was in his customer relations! And he went out of his way to help me even further.

Great website. Amazons website has become the norm. Anything less seems like too much of an effort. Targets web is as close to that perfection as ive experienced. I just wish more non perishable food items like fruit and vegetsbles were available for curbside.

A standard Target store. Good selection of groceries and home goods. Weve gone a couple of times and even though the store is busy, the lines move quickly and we found everything we were looking for for. At the checkout, bags are available for purchase or bring your ownership.

Drive up customer service have been so courteous and always smiling. I chose this service because I am listed as most vulnerable people. I usually wait no more than 5 minutes for them to deliver my purchase to my car. I hope this service will continue after this pandemic.

Made a quick stop while we were between stops on the island. They had everything we needed! We felt like we were in a location back in Texas. Such a laid back atmosphere and nice to have the things youre used to having. Grabbed all our favorite snacks and drinks for the road!

Excellent experience. Ordering via the app was easy, and so was pick up. We had to wait a little while, but not very long. Workers were great! Very pleasant and efficient.

When I placed my order for in store pick up, it said that I had until Friday the 18th to pick it up. Then, on Tuesday the 15th, I received an email saying it was the last day to pick up my order. Also, when I placed the order, I put in my brothers name for the alternate pick up person. In the email it had my name twice and not my brothers name. I was worried that he wouldnt be able to pick up by the new deadline in the email so I called the store. The store clerk was very nice but could not tell me if the items would be put back on the shelf that day, or if my original pick up date was correct - Friday the 18th. She could not find the information. I was then very stressed out as these were Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews.

Hilo’s Target is pretty quick with their Drive Up service. We literally pulled in to the stall and we were approached by an employee within seconds. Their store is pretty great too. Very busy but that’s just because it’s a great store.

I came in fresh from the beach, not sure if employees thought I was homeless or what, because I was accused of stealing, then rushed away without apology when the mistake was realized, weird experience.

Fast easy professional service! The guys and girls that bring the items out to your car are awesome. So friendly and thankful. Order was ready in less than an hour and only waited 3 minutes once I arrived. I normally dont shop in stores due to having health issues that impair me from walking around a store. Female employee working at the self service check out today was extremely rude and very unprofessional, not knowing how to fix the issue with the machine. Never apologized or offered a real solution until we simply went to a different machine. Also spent to much time massing with the machine and we had to leave to get somewhere on time, and still no apologies.

My Mother goes shopping here 2 to 5 times a month I love target for all the nice groceries.

85-90% of the items I went in to purchase were out of stock. Barracades and herding of customers was ridiculous. In Hawaii we have had 17 deaths out of a population of 1.4million. 0 on Big Island. Government and Target overreaction in Hawaii are horribly unreasonable and huge imposition against personal rights. If Target spent the energy on ordering and restocking shelves instead of games with social distancing it would be a much better shopping experience. I spent 25% of what I usually do at Target because of empty shelves. Wont be going back to Target until shelves are restocked and products available.

I was having technical difficulties at the self checkout and there was a team member with the target uniform cleaning the other self registers next to me. I was trying to get her attention since she was nearby and she turned towards me, but still did not respond like she was ignoring me. It was not until she told me that she is not working and that I have to ask the other team members behind her. There was no retaliation, but she was wearing the target uniform like the other team members so I would not have known that she was not on the job or whatever she refers to. She was wearing the target uniform like every team member so that is why I gave the rating a 2. Overall, everything was ok and I did get decent help from another team member wearing the same target uniform.

I always shop at target ever it’s opening, the reason is it’s easy to maneuver around the store since I’m disabled and need to use the Scooter wagon to get around from isle to isle, of course some of the isles are a little tight but I manage, like an obstacle course. It’s great I like shopping here at target Hilo Hawaii. Also good customer service.

Target is my number one store. Everything is very organized, There was a little bit of a renovation or should I say rearrangement of everything, but itʻs still very organized and everythings neat. Thatʻs one of the reasons why I love target and the Deals are always great. I always use my cartwheel and price match online, also use the target circle which I love! I save a lot of money at target & they have practically everything I need.

I love the improvements and bigger grocery section.I want to add (November 27, 2020) I am grateful to Target and many frontline essential workers during this time in the midst of a global pandemic for all their hard work and do hope corporate reevaluates pay grades after this.

The service was quick and accurate. This was the first time I used the Drive Up service with Target Hilo and I LOVED IT! I will definitely be taking advantage of this service much more often! I loved how easy it was, that they immediately notified me that one of my items that was in stock was no longer, and that I waited maybe 3 minutes for my order to come out.

Very discouraged that Target doesnt have better control of ANIMALS in the stores. I get service animals, but all others should NOT be allowed! You are, for the most part,a grocery business. Dogs, and animals, DO NOT belong near food. I see this EVERY time we come in, and it makes me sick! Especially when they are in carts that carry food. Yes, I wipe down our cart, but it is disgusting. You should have a greeter in the front that lets customers know that animals, other than service animals, ARE NOT ALLOWED.

I got what I needed and a gift card for a deal that I didnt know was ongoing.

I love how clean and spacious the stone is. The stone is very well marked where to find things and the employees are awesome. They take you to the items your looking for. If its not there they will hunt it down for you!! I will shop no where else!

I like how they sanitized the carts and although the check out line was long, it went by quickly—don’t be discouraged because of the line.

Nice big clean store. Always have specials and will price match. Always a produce specialty on the weekend. Not much of a meat selection but what they have is fairly priced. Best bottled drink prices I have seen.

Fast and easy

I do most of my shopping at Target. While visiting Hawaii Island with my daughters, we were shopping for toys we find difficult to locate on Oahu. I was very fortunate to ask a Target Associate for assistance in checking inventory. She was most helpful; with no hesitation she dropped what she was doing by the electronics department to assist. Target never seems to fail me. When ever I ask an associate for assistance, they are more than happy to assist! 5 stars for awesom customer service!!

I would have rate it higher but the target application is so crazy. You can get a cart wheel price and online price which the sales clerk will have to make the changes to the price scanned. It seems like so many steps. I wish it would be easier.

This target is way better than what I have in my town! Groceries, clothing, home goods...all the things Target usually has and more. We bought all of our snorkeling equipment here and even replaced our suitcase while we were there. There is a nice Starbucks inside too.
