Love that place. I go there for lactose free cream cheese, and half n half. Someone in my family is allergic to dairy. Also I go there for yummy sandwiches, and see what kind of deals they have on things, also they have tea that will knock your socks off after a long stressful day. :)
I shop here because its very close to where I live. This store provides quality products at premium prices. If this New Seasons location wasnt so convenient, I would shop elsewhere due to the high prices. I sometimes stop there for a meal to take to work with me, and its quite easy to shell out $15-20 for a meal: drink ($3-4), ready made to-go meal ($9-14), fruit ($1-9: very dependent on what you get), and maybe a cookie ($1-3). Definitely I try to make meals at home to take with me because of this.
Great place to go grocery shopping if local, organic, and/or sustainably harvested are desired. Great produce and seasonal fruit, love the meat/seafood counter, and the bakery. Decent beer selection (that one honestly was maybe better in the past, but still very good), also has ready made food.
I like to eat healthy and take care of myself but I dont want a corporation pushing their politics in my face. Its too bad because you used to have an amazing selection. Now you think that the politics that benefit your corporate business are somehow the perfect position for a family of three to follow. This is crazy and completely ludicrous.
I have to write this review to acknowledge 2 awesome employees that always treat me so well and seem like they actually want to help. The hispanic girl that works at the meat counter is so sweet and happy to help and the tall, darker deli guy with a loud voice. This guy is so knowledgeable and is ready to assist and help me every time!
This location is on par with the rest up here. They could have a better hot food section. Overall a good place.
Good to very good quality food at high to very high prices. Plenty of organic produce, fresh meat, fish and prepared foods. But, be ready to open your wallet. Steaks on sale for $15.99lb. Prepared potato salad $8.99 a pint. Bottled spring water that sells elsewhere for a dollar less. Local and CA wines at $3-to-4 more per bottle.Weekly specials and a frequent shopper program help. People are super nice and helpful. Store is immaculate.
Worked here for 5 years wonderful place to work and shop. Nice people good customer service. All around good place to shop
Friendly pleasant staff. Very helpful. New and different items in stock every time I go. I love the toy/gift/candle section in front. I could spend an hour just I. That 1 section. Nice selection of greeting cards, funny category actually made me laugh. (How many jokes about farts for Dads day or his birthday do we need?! ).. Healthy choices and clean.
Love this grocery store. The employees are so friendly. New Seasons is a bit on the pricey side but the great food quality is what makes it worth it.
New Seasons is a weekly stop when getting groceries. When I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease five years ago they were a god send. They have so many different items for me to choose from and i love that they have fresh gluten free pasta. The meat counter is awesome and we love the chicken basil sausage. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Eating healthy is important to us. We count on healthy meats and vegetables. We also count on them for most of our vitamins and supplements. The staff is always willing to consult and advise on options.
They need to change their motto. Definitely not the friendliest store in town. But I am more than willing to deal with a surly staff in order to get the items I need. Great selection of local beers. The bakery is phenomenal. Great selection of teas. Watch for the various advertised sales. You can really get some great deals if you are willing to wait.
A great local source for baking supplies for celiac sufferers. A large selection of prepared glutin free frozen gf meals. Overall a good selection of fresh vegetables.
This is a regular stop for me, even if Im only buying a CBD drink. The staff is amazing and always friendly. The produce is always fresh, the beer selection is great. The price point on the meat market is very high, their chicken cost as much as beef in other grocery stores. Also not a fan of their coffee shop, what ever bean they use is very sour: Tori is the only one who seems to be able to keep this flavor note under control.
Nice range of options; selection includes better stuff than I expected. And their staff were friendly and helpful in finding vases for flowers.
I just left this store. Unfortunately it was after I had gotten everything I planned on purchasing. The clam chowder looked very good, but I had to leave it all behind. The employees were calling over the intercom for whatever section I was in. My friend told me he witnessed employees following me and peaking around the corners at me. I have no idea why. I was trying to buy those bagged cookies and hot food. Now I have to go get McDonalds for my kids because I wasted so much time thinking I was purchasing items at new seasons off cornell. Instead my kids get a healthy meal of McDonalds. Thanks for the excellent customer service and I love how your store stands out in the way they profile individuals. Although the profile of 47 year old father of 3 who works at Intel and drives a grey camry, is somewhat mind-boggling, good job on showing the true individuality of your store. On top of that, I witnessed an employee sniffing lines of a white substance in a car in the parking lot when I was walking from my car to the store. I told a manager and he just shrugged his shoulders and grunted. What happened to drug free shopping ^ work environment. And as if it couldnt get worse I must add.... I witnessed is witnessed and employed sniffing is ping some sort search white substance in a car in the parking lot. When I approached a manager they just shrugged their shoulders and asked what color the substance was. Then left towards the parking lot. Im hoping to go catch them.
I always love shopping at New Seasons Market. Olive bar is great. Fruits and Vegetables sections is so nicely laid out.
Want to recognize Brian, the floral shop manager, for his kindness in assisting me with a selection of flowers. He went above and beyond. Thank you, Brian.
Nice open store. Excellent deli options. Clean.
Enjoy shopping here and have a good general organic food selection along with other high quality food materials. The butcher shop and bakery is my favorite parts of the store. A bit busy on Sundays but is a good compliment to the farmers market.
Easy in and out grocery store. Lots of harder to find and local products. Always well stocked and very friendly staff. They do have major name brands but also locally made items. The prices are average but the quality is always high and they have a Neighborhood Rewards system that gets you even more discounts. We usually use their instacart service and pick up groceries brought out to our car in the parking lot but going in always is a treat to explore the seasonal delights.
Great place to shop, yet disappointing development. They discontinued my favorite raw fermented section and my beloved hot sauce, Stinging Kombucha Hot Sauce. Please, bring it back.
Always excellent selection of grass fed beef and organic produce! Love the salmon cakes they make and prepare for sale (uncooked).
New Seasons is a Portland institution and is a great resource for the community of people who can afford to shop there but don’t want to contribute to the mammoth that is Whole Foods/Amazon.
Excellent selectionThe meat case was amazing and the food was delicious!!
New Seasons is our go to for grass fed meats and organic products. However I do subsidize by buying what I can at TJs. Staff is generally friendly, and always helpful though not as much in past years before they sold out to a large corporation. The nutrition staff is always quite helpful and very knowledgeable.
Always love going here. Terrific people who are always friendly. Thank you to New Seasons for always taking care of all their customers and for everything they do for the Hillsboro community.
The deli food was great but for the price I paid if it wasnt I would have been upset. A small salad and sandwich for 20.00 from a markets a little much but was very good.
Always my top pick to get groceries. Their produce quality is top notch! They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian products. Also, their snack game is on point. A bit on the pricey side, so go in at your own risk because you WILL blow a hole through your wallet.
Great store great vibe.
I went to the so called Halibut sale. The guy told me that they got a few fish and had none to sell. Funny part is they were filleting halibut and sell for 21 a pound. Email they sent to my spouse is a lie. False advertising!! I will never step in there again! They deserve -2 stars but you cant rate that way!
Love their lunch deli!
Great fresh steaks and produce. Wish Id found the really pump grapes that id found b4!
Wish I lovedcoser, I love shopping at new seasons
Bought a custom sandwich for lunch with the family. Had a nice time sitting outside on the tables eating.
Went in because they sell local Oregon strawberries ...nice clean store and friendly staff
A little over priced on some stuff but still a great store. Awesome oregon products
Best cheese department, by far.
Very friendly staff and they have many vegan and organic fresh options quite the beer selection and you can buy single cans of a variety of beers and a great wine selection !
A great local store with amazing health food. The selection of tasty items for the health conscious makes it a great place to shop.
Social distancing and masks required. Inventory are well stocked and clean. Wasnt busy on a Thursday but was quite busy on a Friday in August 2020. Staff are helpful. Ask about their loyalty program. I always make sure to stop by the plants section. Bring your own grocery bag too.
Very nice local market! I really like the selection, theres a lot of organic options and the produce is very fresh (but a little pricey). The deli is great and also well-priced though!
New seasons is always awesome. They fantastic produce and other items. The staff are always very helpful. Would highly recommend.
Coffee was ok. Donuts not as good as we had hoped.
I havent been here for awhile but recently I visited it again. I love this place it has great food, a good selection of toys for the little ones and a good selection of products. They have a nice little place to eat your fresh food after paying sometimes there will be a chess board which is fun to play that with friends. They also have little shopping carts for the kids so they can feel a little grown up. Once you place your order of food it dose not take long for it to be done. They also have a excellent selection of flowers and plants. I enjoy this place and suggest you to go there to!
Very great organization with the current Covid rules in Oregon. Always fresh foods and the best part; special diet food types galore. Thanks guys!
I enjoy shopping here because they carry the items I want, the customers really matter, always friendly and helpful staff, clean store, and pretty clear covid directions and not crowded when I go. 4/5 stars because higher pricing on basic conventional and bulk items
Best grocery store I’ve ever experienced. Was sad to be losing PCC upon moving down from Seattle, but this is even better. Main reason? You can buy high quality organic products right alongside Cool Whip. And did I mention the freshly baked store brand bread? The focaccia is my favorite, but then again all the fresh bread is to die for. (I may have a carb loading issue.)
Every time I walk in here I always get greeting with a smile. All the employees are super nice! The selection of produce is great and sometimes they have reasonable sale and prices on items.
Busy Holiday shoppers. Got everything we needed. Monitored the number of shoppers, but probably should reduce the number in the store at once even more.
Good place to get organic foods, including meats, veggies, canned goods and more. They also have a good bakery and a deli where you can pick up tasty meals.
Fantastic store! Fresh local products and great variety. Always buy my seafood and meat here. A little pricey but well worth it. Interesting and friendly employees.
I love New Seasons so much I’d marry it (except I’m already married and I’m pretty sure it’s not legal to marry a grocery store). Everyone is always super nice, they have a really good selection of everything from the bougie to the basic, and there’s usually a cute doggo or two nearby.
Employees are always nice, and the in-store made foods are delicious.
Fresh produce and great online delivery service. Option to pick replacement items if something is out of stock. Store is clean and with friendly service at the door.
This is our local neighborhood grocery store, and we love it. Its always well stocked, the staff are always very helpful and friendly. I love shopping here!
New Seasons at Orenco has superb customer service.
Orenco Station New Seasons gives what one would expect of our fine Pacific Northwest upscale, wholesome grocer. They carry a wide selection of supplements. The bakery has tantalizing treats. Produce is excellent with both conventional and organic choices. Now at all New Seasons, Hood Strawberries (pictured), the tiny, flavorful strawberries that are second to none.
Great selection. Friendly staff
This is just an over priced, small store that doesn’t have the selection of a store like Fred Meyer. I’d usually not review a store like this, but one of the employees harassed me about not pulling down my mask for a split second to unlock my phone with Face-ID when looking for a coupon and would not stop staring at me throughout the purchase at checkout. The only positive thing I’d have to say is I like that they support local brands and support sustainable products.Update: second time I’ve been here just because of a deal, I ride a motorcycle and had a full shield helmet on and there was a guy at the entrance who told me that I’m not wearing a mask and I Can go shop somewhere else. With both experiences, employees were very rude.
Love New Seasons. Great place to shop.
The people at the counter greeted me and said goodbye to everybody
Smallish but jam packed with quality.
Produce dept not really impressive.stote over all nice
Orenco is my local New Seasons and I love it. The meat counter is incredibly helpful and the produce cant be beat. In the fall they have so many varieties of apples its amazing. I love their curated gift section its just a great store.
Organic, clean groceries. Love this place. Fresh food section has amazing choices. Friendly staff.
Nice selection of a wide variety of goods; from produce & beautiful flowers, to prepared foods & sundries. Very easy to find allergy safe foods & products. Friendly & helpful staff will even be happy to put in orders for supplies they have access to but may not have on hand. The samples displayed at the customer service desk are always interesting & delicious. And if there is any gorgeous fruit that peaks your interest, a member of staff is always willing to let you try a bite. Great fruit!
Great items and staff
Good setup to encourage social distancing. Excellent customer service
The friendliest place in town? Not any more. Grumpy personnel.Locally owned? Not anymore. Take that sign down! Has Korean ownership now. With that change things have gotten worse. The dont carry many items any longer, like curry chicken salad, which was very good. Their roasted chicken was so dry, it tasted more like jerky than chicken. And it was not seasoned - very bland. I returned it. Their Thai chicken skewers with peanut sauce - same thing. No sauce whatsoever, bland and dry.Their produce isnt reliable either. Bought a basket of cherry tomatoes for nearly 5 bucks. The ones on top were ok, the ones below were soft, old, shriveled. Returned that too.No one at the bakery to slice fresh bread anymore. If I have to pay extremely high prices, I expect better.Wont go there any more.
HUGE kudos to you and your employees on the steps you have taken at your stores to slow the spread of the virus. The company obviously invested in their employees’ protection without having to and the employees I saw there last night were directing people in a clear and efficient manner without compromising their warm and friendly nature. Not only did I feel safer shopping there than anywhere else, I left feeling surprisingly uplifted. Also, the organic honey seed bread is delicious!
Great neighborhood store. You should shop here
New seasons is ok in general, but they started to sell unpacked bread, which is open for all that coughing, sneezing and dirty-hand-touching - disgusting. In the past, it was at least packed by employees. Im not going to buy bread here anymore. Now, I have to look for another source of dark rye bread.
I had to use the scooter cart, first time. It was a bit of a jerky ride but I didnt run over anything or anyone.v the sore was nice and the fresh fruit looked extra good.
Yummy food thats always fresh. Today was a stop for fancy cookies. Best place to buy halibut too.
Upscale grocery store focusing on organic and sustainable. The selection is going to be more limited in general. Their cheese counter is great, and their prepared foods are great
Great little neighborhood market! A bit pricey, but the produce is always fresh. And, I find items that I cant get anywhere else.
Was at the Orenco store this morning shopping under the new guidelines and I must say: everyone did an absolutely wonderful job! It’s organized and everyone shopping was cooperative and seemed to really appreciate the efforts by the staff. And the staff was moving! Things looked well stocked, incredibly clean, signage up helping customers. It was a very comfortable experience.
Nice local market
New Seasons Market is over priced, customer service is undervalued.
Way overpriced... Like come on
I am not normally the demographic for a grocery store this, but I have a lot of food restrictions that make it so this is one of the only places I can get pre-made food. The staff are so incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful. They are more than willing to help me find what I need, grab me something that is too high for me to reach in my wheelchair, and are so incredibly patient if my disabilities mean I cant speak that day and must use my phones keyboard to communicate. Its expensive, but it really is the best place for those with restricted medical diets who need pre-made food occasionally. They have a great selection of wheat free breads, and hot sauces without garlic or onion.
Workers are next level friendly, you can try things that peak your curiosity, and they have their own recipes that are better than other grocery stores. The banana cake is so delicious and they recently got a cookie case thats too fun. Its more of a special occasion shopping trip when I go, but I never miss the seasonal produce they carry.
Just love it
Always good service but prices are higher
Great New seasons, friendly staff and some samples, yay. New seasons has such an excellent coffee selection, and pastries. Its the most pleasant place to shop for groceries if you dont mind spending a little extra money, but you can find some good deals. I love the produce department.
